Hello all,
As i have been enjoying all the great appz from so many great developpers, i kind a miss an app for my TP which puts device in suspend when stylus goes in and lets it wake up when stylus is released from its hole.
If any kind soul could find time to develop such an app, this would be great.
if not possible plz let me know..
Lastly a big thanks to all great contributors on our forum.

Not directly, but indirectly, yes.
With StylusLock you can overrule the default settings, as described here.
One setting which will suit your needs:
stylusAlwaysControl = 1
This means the locking is dependent of the Stylus status.
In combination with the already default setting suspendOnBacklightOff = 1, you can get what you want. You just must configure the backlightoff period very short via the Windows Mobile settings: start -> settings -> system -> energy -> advanced.
You can also try TouchLockPro, although that has not the StylusAlwaysControl setting, but gives you more unlock features and also the backlight off feature.

It's not about keyboard sound while typing, but it's off. I'd like to turn off the "beep" sound while dialling phone number with dialler.

It should say "keypad", not keyboard, but you could have at least looked after he'd made the effort to help.
Go to Settings>Menu>All Settings>Personal>Phone and set the Keypad option to "None".

Thanks for the fast answer.... I tried this but did not work... the value was "2"..change to "5"... nothing...changed to "0" and still the same...
Another tip?...
Try settings > all settings > personal > input then click on the bottom tab "Options" (it's not the same as the options box near the top!) and check what the "default zoom for typing" is - I have mine at 100%
Also check in settings > all settings > system > screen and click on the "text size" tab at the bottom where you can obviously adjust the text size

Theres a simple way to find out of something is wrong with the phone... try flashing another ROM. The newest Miri one is good
Have you seen the "Auto adjust backlight" option in Preferences\System\Power\Backlight (I have an italian rom, so I have translated the "path" by me)?
Why is it there, if the Mega has no light-sensor???

I have 1.28.408.3 (09/16/09) italian version, and i don't have that option...
Very strange... same version for me, but I have it...
lol that's strange :? why dont u try it miracles can happen ?!
I have the same option but it doesn't seem to do anything... The Mega does not have a light sensor so I don't know why or how it would work.
G-sensor option
G-sensor is hidden in the bottom of 3.5 phone socket...
HTC didn't equip it to all models, therefore it lacks in most of specifications.
To verify how it works go here:
HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCsensor\Gsensor
Change default value and try it
AutoBackligh - Gsensor.... there's no link between the two things....
Anyway, I tried to modify the key and reboot, but nothing happened...
i have a d802 i have all the new updates but when it comes to sms there is no sound on the lg keyboard witch i been use to for yrs and yrs miss it can i get it back
