how do i get large context menus?

i noticed that a friend of mine who ones a blackstone, has HUGE context menues.
does any1 know how i can get that too??

are u sure its just that? i'm pretty sure that his other font sizes are not that big (sms for example)

you can change the popupfnt and menufnt seperately to the main font sizes.
and make them italic... although I like the new curly font from windows 7..

ah great! that solved my problem (popupfnt)
i never seen this option before.

I actually wrote a fix to change big fonts to small over here. You shall apply the registry fix reversed to get big fonts.

Start -> settings -> system tab -> screen -> Text (font) size tab -> slide to "bigger"

thats the overall fontsize. i jsut wanted to increase the ones from the popup menus. like fards wrote ... u can find it in advanced config

HD2 Hard to read Quicklink Text

Hi guys, just got my HD2 few days ago,
I haven't modified the rom or anything just applied the following:
Dutty's Taskmanager
DJC Taskbar
Cookie's Home Tab
I don't know how the quicklink or shortcut text looked before but I noticed that the text is not as clear, I mean the white color of the text of homescreen shortcuts is not as clear, I have no problems with reading anywhere else except on the home tab....
The white text is bit hard to read... I don't know if everyone has this problem?... is it normal?... Also is there a way to change the size of the text because I think if I make it like bold text, then it would be much easier to read....
again the Start button text, menu and phone at the bottom (which are quite thick letters) look very fine its just the text of shortcuts and weather temperature...
please let me know if anyone else has similar text that is hard to read..

p.s. this issue is the same as one discussed recently about pixelated home tab...
I am using stock rom with Cookie's Home tab....
If anyone knows about any .cab files that can be installed to solve this problem, please let me know.. .thank you.. again the problem is hard to read quick link text and weather text below the clock on the home screen (when I say hard to read It is somewhat blurry but readable.. this is not a serious issue but it doesn't look very good on the huge screen of HD2) any help will be appreciated thanks....

seems teh screen settings are hidden by default in some roms.
With a registry editor, browse to
HKLM/controlpanel/pen and change the value of 'Hide' from 1 to 0.
Soft reset, then go settings tab - menu - all settings - system and you should see screen settings icon.

Nice, this should go in the tweak list!

While I agree that ClearType makes a huge difference, I second the request to make quicklinks text in Cookie's Home Tab larger or adjustable. ClearType or not, it is quite hard to read as of now.

SMS last thread highlighted fixed

i dont know if there was any threads about this yet but, i read some people complaining about when they txt and the last thread is highlighted causing it to lag for a sec..
well to stop this just goto settings and goto input and on the 2nd tab unclick the part that says scroll to the bottom after reading last sentence or something and now it should stop highlighting the thread box in sms's

That's weird. My seems to be still highlighting despite unchecking that option.
My HTC messaging's build is 2012.1931.
Wonder if this matters..

i closed htc messaging using task manager and when a new message came through it did the same again, lost cause until HTC sorts it I'd imagine.....

if you haven't got the default windows settings option to show on your start menu, from the today screen just swipe all the way over to the settings tab, hit menu, all settings, then personal followed by input, option mentioned is located on the second tab, doesn't seem to work from testing anyhow...

In Artemis ROM there's no Input settings =/

doesn't change anything thing for me.....
only tim eit doesnt highlight last txt is when I enter txt: press More,then choose person texting to. if I go that why it dont highlite but that option u talk about dont have any affect

This was one of the most annoying things for me! Ok the messages still load in the background, but at least now i dont lose focus on the texting!

you dont need to softrest, worked for me straight away. But no harm in trying...do you have a stock or custom rom?

[SOLVED]How to enable normal settings with HTC Sense

hello to all i have cooked a rom with htc sense ...when sense is activated if i click settings from start menu it takes to settings of manila tab it does not goes to normal settings ...is it possible to disable this and get the normal settings when i click "settings" with manila activated

thanks bro and now its ok ...finally my settings take to the original settings...

Screen wont light up when sms received while on standby...

Ive used SSPL a few times to change the ROM of my Mini and now when I get a text message my screen doesnt light up while in standby. Is there any fix for this apart from hard reset or reusing SSPL to see if an error occurred?!
It used to light up before with previous installs.

doesnt seem to work on my mini, installed it onto the storage card - cant see option to change notifications.....

You must install it in internal memory.
The app contains tweaks.

I used the exe from the developers site - got the cab now.... shall see how it goes; thanks!
my mistake

Okay I couldnt find any option within Advanced Configuration for the screen lighting up when a text is received but there was a lot of options - so if someone can clarify its there I stand corrected!
I also installed BsB Tweaks and there is a SMS wake up option , I activated this and it does what I want!
Thanks again to fighter7139 for pushing me in the right direction - appreciated bro.

By the way, in ACT the option is:
Messaging--->Wake up on new sms.

Window Icon - Settings - Menu - Sounds & Notifications - Notifications - Message : New Message AND
tick Flash Light

Ive attached a screenshot of what I mean about Advanced Config Tool not showing the Wake Up option for SMS sadly....
I installed your link for 3.3 - same issue.

I removed ACTools now but I assure you the SMS wake up option was not listed; Im unsure why!
