I still wish there was an actual FM radio on the liquid for those times or areas that don't have data connections. It uses way less power than streaming over 3G too.
So, I guess there is no way of using the liquid as a FM radio without a data conection.

not for now... maybe when acer releases kernel both for eclair/froyo liquid AND stream, since stream has the radio app and must have the drivers for it to work (not sure if its the same chipset though)
Hello,
did anybody got the standard FM radio to play over Bluetooth audio?
I've got TomTom talking over BT on my car radio.
Now I also want to listen to FM radio but I've got to choose FM audio or BT audio..(so TOmtom or Radio) so I also want the FM radio to put audio over the BT but some how it does not work...only Tomtom.
Does anybody know why? (or how to solve this)
Thnx
Jerry

I downloaded and installed PacMan rom. So far I like it, but I am missing the FM radio app. I got the app from sense rom, but will not install. I am new to rooting and flashing, so please explain to me how can I get my FM radio work. Thanks

Thanks. I am going to miss my radio. I took of the PacMan and installed the CM10 4.2.1. Works fine. I had to update the Google Search as was FC any time I try to use the mic. Works fine now. So far, it is the best JB rom on my glacier. I hope that someone will found a way to install that radio app.

No trial version? Does it really work
Thanks for the info on FM Radio app. But unfortunately, there is no trial version available. Can someone confirm if it actually works?

Hello xda,
I want to ask you about FM transmitters. I couldn't find anything worth reading about it. S4 doesn't even have a FM Reciever, what I want to know about is if any accessory that would transmit FM radio waves and suitable with S4 exists? All ideas are welcomed, thanks...
P.S.: I have an old car with an old radio, i want to transmit fm waves and listen to songs in my cars audio system, thanks...
No one? So there are no accessories for that? (Sorry I looked it up on Google, didn't find many resources)
Sorry
It wont work.Because It don't have Hardware resources
:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

If I understood well what you want to do you can use devices like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-3-...449?pt=US_FM_Transmitters&hash=item2c7128a269
I have one similar, but it's broken, used to work like a charm on my laptop , I plugged it and then listened to my music on the car, was great , Hope this solves your issue!! But if it's about S4 receiving FM radio, I'm sorry, but I don't believe it can work . But you can get some apps like TuneIn Radio and listen to some great Internet Radio
I already use tune in no its about transmitting, thanks that may do..

Hi all, don't know if I'm just playing catch-up but the FM radio app from here https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Idea-Android-based-Tablets/Lenovo-S6000-radio-FM-works/m-p/1331217 works for me. I'm surprised Lenovo didn't include a similar app by default.
Many thanks
