I hope the camera bug gets fixed soon it's the only thing keeping me on Sense and GPE. Thanks for the list!

Can't find any discussion on which MM rom is most usable...
Maybe we can have it here in this thread?
Someone's using MM on a daily base on a M7? Which Rom? Pros/Cons?

I used some rom of them, and my opinion is The Resurrection Remix (2) rom was great, I really loved it, becouse it was fast, but the battery life is better on Sense, and sometimes it reboots random. The worst thing is in that, the camera is closed after one shot. The CM is the same. The Dirty Unicorn is the worst, Its laggy, and unstable. The AICP is good, but when I plug in my EarPods, then the phone turned off and dont turn back if I dont plug out it. I dont know nothing about the other roms, but i will try them. I hope, I can help you.
(Sorry for my english, I hope, you can understand me.)

Thanks for your feedback!

Sounds like unusable... Have sudden battery drains on Lollipop (which is obviously a general Lollipop issue), but it doesn't sound like it gets better on MM

That's also a known bug which can be solved by using a third-party camera app. So that isn't such a problem...

I tried a lot of third-party camera apps (the htc camera too) but all of them closed after one shot. Can you tell me any of working camera apps?

Thanks so much for doing this!
If anyone has a better solution for the libsslx.sso issues of fb, fb messenger, and snapchat, than the deletion of the libraries, please let me know.
Thanks

very nice and necessary initiative! I had been searching for MM for the M7 and the info is so scattered.
At the moment >I am using Resurrection Mix and I really like it.
I'm not a heavy FB/messenger user and my battery holds up great.
Today I played around with the Exposed Installer module and it's a new world opening up to me.
No Forced closures, everything is working great.
It seems to be a known bug that the camera isn't working properly with CM 13 (MM). like someone mentioned before; just google "Best camera Apps for Android>" and make your pick.
BTW, same goes for Torch, just install another app and it is done.
Also, I had a problem with calling; receiving or placing a call. The phone would crash.
after posting in the thread Tanuj97 came immediately back to me with the solution...

The kernel in the Beanstalk ROM is capable of doing double tap 2 wake. I am not sure of swipe 2 wake features but, it probably has those too.

GUYS! THE CAMERA BUG HAS BEEN FIXED IN MARSHMALLOW!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/orig-development/rom-xenonhd-5-0-2-beta1-27-12-14-t2986038

Hi all,
cm fixed the camera in this commit
they also did create the commit for pushing the m7 official to cm13.0
I uploaded a new build with the fixed camera:
Edit: Re-uploaded with a rebuild of the kernel, as I noticed that on a sync with cm, anytime the swap config was set off again. For those wanting swap and flashed the update yet, here's only the rebuild boot.img:
boot_cm-13.0-20160618-UNOFFICIAL-9Lukas5-RC1-m7.img
cm-13.0-20160618-UNOFFICIAL-9Lukas5-RC1-m7.zip
xda-thread for my builds
I'll build even apart from the now shortly starting official builds here and then a private build, because the gpu oc/undervolt and cpu voltage control won't be included in the official builds, but I don't want to give them up :good:
L

Tested so far:
Resurrection Remix (2)
CrDroid
CyanogenMod 13 (Unofficial 2)
Bliss
they al crash when receiving a call while a Bluetooth headset (or car-bluetooth) connected.
Anyone know a MM build that doesn't crash with BT ? or maybe it's a CM issue, like the camera ?

That seems to be a cm issue

Hi too, i'm confusing about this, the latest build of vanir rom is android 6.0.1 not 5.1.1, also vanir rom is based on cyanogenmod, not a pure aosp, that's why they have cm theme engine and similar to cm ..
Oh so the latest build have camera working ?, i'll test later, i'm on 0104 build and my camera's still error

If you want to use the 6.0.1 version, you must use the DHO Gapps
http://www.emccann.net/dho/5-Gapps/60arm-DHO-GAPPs.zip
Otherwise Google Play Services will FC!
(Would be good, if added to op.... searched 2 hours for this xD)
For enabling d2tw you can use M5Settings APK (enable root in dev settings before)

Even I've not used it yet but I guess it has an issue. After a long time using with WiFi, mobile data won't work unless doing a reboot or toggle airplane mode (this issue is caused by baseband), in Carbon ROM, mobile data even got FCs. I've just backed to stock yesterday, wish I read this post earlier.
The mobile data issue can be fixed by replace the /system/etc/firmware folder, I replaced one from stock sony but got another issue with bluetooth, you can give a try with the firmware which is taken from this, test it and report.

Can confirm this bug. After toggling airplane mode on and off, mobile data is there.
Update:
Unpacked the system.img from rcstars MM and replaced the system/etc/firmware folder. Will test and report
Update2:
Booted up without problem, wifi and mobile data working. Will activate Wifi for now and test in some minutes if mobile data is working
Update3:
Turning of wifi after 1 hour. Instant switch to mobile data working fine. Now testing longer time
This is from VANIR Google+:
So i think more people are having problems with open gapps for example...

The camera HAL actually feels better than any other I've used... Weird.
Fluid and fantastic ROM, but the only problem that i'm facing is poor RAM management :/
Almost max 4 apps in background, after 5 minutes the fourth will refresh ((
Hate this ! but i stay with this for now !
And another thing, no ambient display sadly!
Swedish Bank apk (SEB) will not install in Paranoid Rom latest version. I'm missing some security setting before I install?
The rom is great running along with open gapps micro.. One problem / bug is HDR in camera.. Normal mode shoots fine but in HDR mode camera force closes all the time..
Anyone else having this issue?
Full gapps gives insufficient storage. Does the OnePlus X have a small /system?
EDIT: Now using banks gapps, but I'm having problem changing the data from 4G to 3G (as android defaults to 3G). Everytime I click on Mobile Networks it shows 'Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped). Where do I report this?

Yep :/ but i never use it, so i don't care at the moment!
Thanks for the information @dani.galla!
So I tried PA this morning (replacing my setup with SultanCM13 5/6/2016 version), and here is my impression so far:
- My setup: BANKS Gapps from Dirty Unicorns download page (as recommended by PA team itself on their G+, DO NOT use OpenGapps if you want to have a smooth start) + SuperSU v.2.74 BETA + Sultan Camera HAL
- Very stable but battery is a bit more drained fast compared to Sultan, but it still acceptable
- Toggle to disable SIM 2 (finally!!)
- LTE signal very stable, THE SAME with what I've got with OOS 2.2.1 and then I noticed the BASEBAND version become exactly the same with OOS 2.2.1. Very nice to have a stable signal again. Another custom ROM always gave me a fluctuating LTE signal.
- Performance wise, so far no problem, not even a single FC. Really happy with this!
- I think this is what OOS Marshmallow version will look alike since the team behind it is the same. LoL
- It really feels like a stock ROM other than custom ROM with tons of unusable customization options, it's nice to finally have this feeling again
- Camera performance is very bad in low light conditions
- HDR mode FC (but I never use this, so I don't really care)
Very recommended for those looking for a ROM that they can use for normal daily use and everything just works as intended. Perhaps it's not suitable for those who looking for a ROM with tons of customization options.
can't wait, i'm downloading

This is a more comprehensive list of bugs encountered in the current main Android 7.x AOSP ROMs.
Since i know most ROM devs don't edit their OPs when a new bug/broken feature is discovered, this thread aims to be a more comprehensive list of bugs, that will be fueled by the community.
If you find a bug that is currently not on the list, do not hesitate to post a reply stating your discoveries. I'll be checking in regularly to update the OP with your findings.
Be advised, this topic is not aimed at solving these bugs, but more of reporting said bugs, and making Users' & Devs' lives easier. (Or at least trying to )
So here is the list of bugs/broken features :
LineageOS 14.1 (7.1.2) by OpenKirin
Data Tethering
Dual-lens camera support
Shaky video recording (workaround available)
Slow 60fps YouTube videos (debatable)
Snapchat not working
Occasionnal soft reboots
Other minor annoyances
Resurrection Remix OS v5.8.3 (7.1.2) by OpenKirin
Dual-lens camera support
Shaky video recording (workaround available)
Slow 60fps YouTube videos (debatable)
Stock Messaging app closes all other apps (use another app)
Occasionnal soft reboots
Other minor annoyances
Android AOSPA (7.1.2) by OpenKirin
Data Tethering
No APN customizability
VoLTE Support (debatable)
Dual-lens camera support
Shaky video recording (workaround available)
Mobile Networks settings page crash (Indian users only)
Slow 60fps YouTube videos (debatable)
Occasionnal soft reboots
Other minor annoyances
Feel free to reply to the thread if you find any other bugs !
Happy flashing and bug hunting !
I would add laggy 60fps videos on YouTube to that list
In AOSPA volte feature is not working tested twice
Need volte support in every custom ROM. Till then I'll stick with stock. Without calling feature i can't use it. So are many other who have volte calls.
Okay, adding VoLTE to the list. AOSPA is confirmed, but what about other ROMs ?

strike volte from the list!
It is a vendor feature which requires additional modifications, those we cannot implement.
Thats why almost no custom rom implements this feature. It has been available on AOSPA because they are working closely together with the OnePlus Team and their devices. No way huawei would do the same - so please forget about volte on custom roms and stick to emui if you need it. @surdu_petru will disable it in the next update
And, to say that again, this is no development thread, reported and will be moved to another section soon.
This is in no way meant to be rude
Regards

Well thats in aospa which i tested for two days ! As surdu said its with the b320(L02) firmware which is ahead of b360 on L04 . Still the force close will be for all Indians (L02 users) and can be said it will be an issue of a country instead of just a model . Hope this will provide some base point to add this issue into the section .

Just updated the list with all current bugs. I noted "(debatable)" for everything that either wasn't confirmed by two users, or that i didn't encounter myself.

That's great, I'll refer to it when I get the courage to install a custom ROM on my honor 8

One more thing in RR, when replying to an SMS using the stock Messaging in the notifications, it closes any foreground app. For example I'm browsing Facebook, someone texts me and I reply to them through the notification, Facebook closes.

Just added it on the list. Couldn't test it myself, as i dumped the Stock app in favor of Google's Messenger app.
(After all, just use another app )

Thank you , am already using messanger by default . Still a fully functional custom rom should have all stable buildin.

A little typo in OP, it's RR 5.8.3 not 5.8.4

That's understandable but think about it. Developers of the plethora of available ROMs will amd want to include it if it's not that hard to implement.

last stable CM 13 ZNH5YAO

Hi!
Im a proud owner of a Oneplus One.
After CM died I try nightly 14.1, lineage OS and Nitrogen OS. Non of these... gave me the camera Experience that I had with the last version of Cyanogen.
Do you know any reliable place to download it?
Last version for OP1 was called "ZNH5YAO" . That was a Snapshot or a stable ?
Thanks in advance.

This one works great, but... Why the camera app is different that the cyanogen One? I mean. I remember swipe up or down to change the shot mode (hdr, inteligent, auto, portrait... ) like here -> https://youtu.be/k1ok7ga3SLk?t=11m38s

Go to settings > apps and uninstall all the cyanogen crap apps (truecaller, skype, theme store) since the company is no more. Disable the app "themes".
