I did a research regarding my problem, found a couple of threads but none of them helped and I noticed my situation is a bit different from most users having this problem.
I live in Brazil, went on a trip to USA for 15 days, kept my SIM card and SD into the phone, just used it to access WiFi, watch videos, make a couple of Viber calls, send messages via WhatsApp, etc. Everything was fine, no problem at all.
Today, when I landed in Brazil, I turned on the phone, entered my pattern and since then my phone just displays that initial screen "Samsung Galaxy S4" and keeps rebooting like crazy. In these last 15 days, I didn't make a single change on the phone. Absolutely nothing. It just decided not to work anymore
My phone is not rooted, runs the latest updates.
I tried initializing in safe mode (power+home+volume up), it shows the android green robot at a glance and then reboots again. I can't even read what is written on the screen, so fast the reboot takes place. I also tried pressing the menu button repeatedly, but no luck as well. Tried removing the battery, turning on without SIM & SD, nothing. When I connect it to a power source, the red led doesn't even light. My computer doesn't recognize it either.
Any suggestions on what to do? Returning it to the shop is not an option as well, cause I bought it out of Brazil...

You could try this take the battery out for at least 12 hours , I read somewhere that can work for your kind of problem
I had this with Note 2.
No other option but to factory reset and flash official samsung firmware from sammobile.com
After that we were back to normal. Try that.
sounds not that bad..
try booting on download mode then flash some official firmware from sammobile.com
NOTE: don't flash XXUMH8 or any MH firmware for it contains new bootloaders with the samsung KNOX crap.
I really wish I could solve that without having to install everything again... but anyway
I'm sorry for this newbie question, but how can I flash a new firmware if my computer doesn't recognize my phone?
And what software do I need in order to do that?

Well... just tried to access download mode here, but no sucess.
Phone reboots after the warning. =( I can't get the message "Downloading… Do not turn off target" after I press volume up, it reboots.
Any suggestions?

Well if u are able to boot the device u should surely be able to go to download mode
Can u try multiple times if possible
Power off device unplug it
Press -> volume down+Home+power button all together till it shoes option there volume up and u should be at download mode and then try flashing A firmware using Odin and once its done Reset the device from the phone back up and reset option all should be fine :fingers-crossed:
try avoiding any backup restore as there myte be some issue with some bad file also

download mode doesn't work indeed. It reboots before I'm able to press volume up...
I have tried several times.

Sorry this is little weird but can u you try and see of you have original Samsung s4 as there are some clones available
Just search on this forum there are some example how to find out or Google it

I'm totally sure it is genuine.
I mean, I can go to download mode.
When I press power+home+volume down, it works.
But when I click volume up in order to continue to download mode, the phone reboots.
It can't stay stable for more than 3 seconds, let's say.

I m too little confuse actually may be try doing reset hard reset and also factory reset going to stock recovery see what option can work else service centre myte be the option

Ok, but in order to perform a hard reset, I need to press power+home+volume up at the same time, right?
That doesn't work either.
When the small green android robot is shown, the phone immediately reboots. I can't even read if there's something written, so fast it reboots.
Are there any options left or just sending to Samsung?

B4 giving the phone to service just go to link stock firmware in my signature and ask there his user I'd is samersh72 he myte be able to help you

Try removing your sd card before going to download mode, maybe it's trying to finish a failed update. Try using someone else's empty sd card

Rebooting issues are battery related sometimes. Try another S4 battery and see if it helps

I tried to give it to Samsung, and look what I've got:
They told me to look for support in the country I bought the phone.
This is ridiculous. It's a shame.
That's when I regret changing my iPhone for a Galaxy.

you need to flash the tablet by using this rom A3000_A422_011_022_140127_WW_CALL_FUSE this will remove any data on the tablet but it will solve this problem

I downloaded this firmware A3000_A422_011_022_140127_WW_CALL_FUSE and following http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a3000/development/rom-lenovo-ideatab-a3000-h-call-t2441135/page83 instructions on that link i installed every driver and laptop i borrowed for doing this is offten laggy so i heared a couple of times plugin in and out sound and while i was watching driver errors even that they were installed successfuly i stoped the SP Flash Tool and didn't notice that yellow bar was about 2/5 full and after that like before that it only shows "Searching". Someone said for driver that was buggin me i need to hold volume + and while holding it plug USB in and i installed driver that way but tablet won't start anymore, i tried reset button on the back. That tablet is my only computer please help me, what i can do?... Tried restart laptop but after restart i got unknown device when i plug in the tablet. Please help me somehow and if i miss the thread please move it. I didn't know where to put it.

I decided to try it for the last time and on my luck driver was installed by it self after i plugged the tablet and it wasn't unknown device. I think the solution is reset button on the back of tablet. Thank you anyway !

My a3000 doesn't turn on after I did this,It still only open The first animation of lenovo
What can I do pleasey
Update: Now I tried to wipe data factory from recovery mood, the tap stopped while erasing and every time I try to open it , it open into animation for android and typing Erasing then the tap restart to the same animation, Help me please

You may flash the rom using SP flash

hey guys, while i was chatting in whatsapp my phone suddenly closed and started saying samsung galaxy si9500 then it ends then it starts again i can't open my phone now i tried to open recovery mode but i couldn't, i tried open download mode it says warning- a custom os can cause critical problems in phone and installed app... then i pushed volume up button but it didn't do anything just started opening and closeing again. what should i do guys my phone has xaphoid rom 4.2.2 how can i reset my phone please help me btw sorry about my bad english.

Hi mate ,
I am not sure what you mean ... but for what i could understand maybe is the power button that is stuck , move it a little , see if is working correctly , a stuck power button will do something like what you are describing

Stuck power button might be the culprit.
Try pressing it,moving it to get it free.
Its been a common problem now. The stuck power button.

Hello all,
I recently tried unlocking my bootloader for my P8 lite and was disappointed to find out that while my device says " Phone Unlocked, FRP Unlock" while at the fastboot&recovery screen, it fails to download supersu to my phone while going through the root process. I am unable to obtain root and furthermore canno't factory reset. I figured I would factory reset by getting my hands on the original stock lollipop firmware for my ALE-L04 which I did, uploading it to my sd card, turning the phone off, and holding both power buttons as well as the home button to prompt the installation of the stock firmware. While holding all three of these buttons nothing happens and when I let go the phone goes back into the fastboot&recovery mode screen with the green android character. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I would like to either go back to stock or root this bad boy seeing as how it is a little buggy since trying to unlock bootloader and root. - Regards Andrew

Hello. Guys i have a big problem that i need so solve fast. I just tryed to unlock the bootloader with SRKtool for huawei with the code from huawei site, but after it finished the device needed to restart, but it didn't! Now it's stuck on the unlock bootloader screen and i can't restart it. I'll try opening it and removing the battery and putting it back on. Would that restart device to normal? If not can u help me please? After i remove the battery i'll update.
P.S. I need to fix it ASAP, thanks in advice to everyone who helps me.
