Stock Recovery - Indian Version(DWG version)

Hi All,
Here I'm sharing Stock Indian Recovery of Desire 816.
I had problems in updating OTA with @kinghunki 's stock recovery. After flashing this, I got succeded.
So I thought it'll be useful for some who are having problems with OTA.

Place the .img in folder containing adb.
Boot to fastboot mode,
Type in command prompt with adb :
Fastboot flash recovery recovery_India_Stock.img
done.
if any error shown, do it again.

There is an app called Flashify if you have rooted your phone. It is only one touch process with the app.

I don't know bro... Ask anyone who has 816g.. He/she might could help you.
And another thing is I'm not using 816 any more....

2 seconds to flash & no need to relock after that.

The work to return the backup, but there is a problem in the touch screen feature and the device has become somewhat slow What problem do you think

yes it makes touch response slow... so what i did that i installed cwm recovery, flashed an old rom version backup and then installed stock recovery and then updated it OTA and hurrah i have latest software update......... but i had to root it again by installing twrp recovery or wht ever method u choose.........

I'd do it but 1.5gb is a bit much to handle ...

Written top left when in bootloader mode.

it's not working for me,could you say how to flash it ?
I replaced the TWRP file with the original one and try to restore it but it's not working.

For me restore works . You must have the same structure of folders

Which version of twrp are you using? I can't get my rom to backup successfully.

I think yes . I made this backup on ext sd. This is my location :TWRP/BACKUPS/SH45RWW00059/2015-04-18--08-28-42 LRX22G release-keys

I flashed the image for my phone (a5_ul) by using TWRP recovery successfully.
However, after phone starts up, Wifi cannot be enabled

It's because you were on kitkat before flashing

I don't know that change CID needs s-off
but my phone was s-off & unlocked and i changed my CID

Oh no , i tried too many times to update my phone to lollipop and no result
The 1 thing that maybe be reason is s-off.
It was a mistake to bought this phone , i must bought a Z Ultra sony.
Bigger screen , powerful S800 SOC , higher resolution , slim , very better development support in XDA & many other reasons.

Relock bootloader doesn't work ?
I love the One Plus X I think it will be my next phone

The red explanation mark shows when you enter into stock recovery or in between green progress bar ?

No result with unlocked / relocked bootloader , rooted / unrooted / change cid / supecid.
No one work for me.

You need to have the right build.prop to receive the OTA.
CID, OS build and build.prop all of them need to be matched for installation.

when i installed india RUU the phone show me 70mb update and after download finished it verify the downloaded zip and show me the system variant error that said me phone is customized ( trying with : Relocked , with Root AND without , Stock Recovery )
I changed it to : 0PFJIMG_A51_DTUL_K44_DESIRE_SENSE60_HTCCN_CHS_1.10.1400.1_Radio_01.01.010_U1030412_08.01.40922_3_release_393696_signed_2_4
and it doesn't show me any update available when i try check software update.

If you are able to get super-cid, then you should be able to flash any firmware.zip from lollipop ota and then restore lollipop backup with twrp. Did you try this way?
But you must find FW for your model, mistake or experiment may result in malfunction or brick.

I get super CID and no result when i try to download 70mb pre lollipop update.
It's download complete but shows a variant error that means my phone customized. but i have relocked / no root / and have super CID .

For India OTA to install, you need -
MID = 0PFJ10000
CID = HTC__038
and untouched system files.

when i connect phone to pc with HTC Sync Manager show d820t . what is model my phone ?
but my main problem is :
i had andriod 6 (orginal) ( via htc update in setting) .
my phone take Virus
i flash my phone with twrp version kitkat 4.4 and SuperSU v2.46 (my Mistake was here)
now when i turn on my phone : Htc 820 stuck at logo
Please help me :crying:

Tighten two volume buttons and the power button when you see a black screen and holding down the volume- and power button that would go to bootloader,in the bootloader,to select reboot.

1. Install or make sure you have installed proper adb and fastboot drivers on your computer
2. In bootloader, goto FASTBOOT
3. Connect your phone to your pc via usb cable
4. Now run HTC_A51_TWRP_Recovery_3.0.2-0_htcui.com.exe from this thread.
5. Done

but Does not work Htc 820 stuck at logo again but i think i dont have os now becouse my statue changed to :

The string after "OS-" become blanked ?
If your answer is yes, do feel free to find any MM RUU on this forum to flash on your device as from your bootloader info. your device seems to be S-OFFed. Which means any Desire 820 RUU SHOULD work on your device. But remember that you should choose the RUU that have the same number of sim slots for you.
P's1: I wont take any responsibility if you bricked your phone.

You may search for RUU for 820u or 820s on this forum. These are dual sims varients.
Your phone is of no need to be rooted.
There are no custom RUU outside.

i find a custom ruu http://www.itechaditya.com/htc-desire-820s-lollipop-rom/ will this work ?
i fond some custom ruu in this site i will test it

Try stock rom first. Dont flash any other modified rom as your device may have missed something and needed to be restored from stock.

What I mean is that can you boot into Android or it is still bootloader/recovery/bootloop.
