I am a Rodgers subscriber and have purchased a used Sprint Moto X. I have unlocked it so I could just put in a SIM and go. Is this my best option or should/can I flash this with custom firmware, updated Sprint firmware (KitKat), or switch over to Rogers firmware. Any other Sprint Moto X users in Canada out there? Current software is 161.44.32.ghost_Sprint.en.US

I put this in the wrong form..... Please remove I will create a new thread in Q&A
I noticed that ATT says the lollipop update for the S5 was pushed on April 8:

However, mine still doesn't find any updates. I'm on straight talk with ATT, but I don't think that matters. Have they just not released it and I missed the updated news?
I bought a AT&T unlocked Blackberry Priv on Ebay. It will not update to the latest Marshmallow version. I have been in contact with AT&T and they told me that I need a firmware update from my local provider. Has anyone have any experience of fixing this issue in South Africa?
Have you been in contact with Vodacom about this? I doubt they will help you or even give you a link to download a firmware that works in SA.
Doesn't the phone work in SA? Are you getting reception?
You could buy an AT&T Sim off ebay. I believe you can plug that in while on WIFI and you might get lucky
Sent from my STV100-1 using XDA-Developers mobile app
AT&T sucks
So AT&T have not officially released marshmallow for the PRIV yet. What is available is a the beta version only open to a few(pre-registered) users.
so basically when the update will be release we can install it via autoloader or, hopefully, ota on unlocked at&t priv.
you can install the update using the autoloader same as it is available for 5.1.1 as of now... for OTA you need the AT&T Sim card on the device
I have a unlocked AT&T s7 edge I bought it refurbished on ebay. I have flashed the SM-G935U firmware but there is no updates yet but when I used a vpn it said I have a update (using an American ip) but I'm in the uk on three what will happen to my device is it a possible nugat update
It's not Nougat, it's either the standard AT&T update from October, about 250mb, or the November patch at 50mb. We're probably at least looking at late February or March for nougat.
how can I upgrade my android version 6.0.1 to whatever is the newest out? I'm also on September 1, 2016 security patch. I got the verizon s7 one but I use it with a MVNO so I can't take it to a verizon store and have them update the phone.
Need to wait until it's released. Nougat hasn't come out for the Verizon S7 yet. There's a nougat update thread with a process to use if you want to root your phone.
oh there hasn't been any update before nougat?
I'm on g930vvrs4aph1,
there's the nougat beta.
