Around all 4 hour i lose my connection to my Provider.
Its dont come back from allone.
Than i must reststart and connection back.
Settings/SimCard/ there i c my Provider, only no Stripse and x there.
Can u pls hlp me what i can do.

so here i go
i have just received my jasjar from SBE after them having it for over two month (complete morons over there dont EVER use then unless you are obliged to). got it back, worked fine for a week and now, it will ONLY log on to UMTS networks for example im sitting at home i have a U symbol and 2 bars signal strength. I go into phone settings and select GSM instead of auto and it stays searching for 10 minutes then says no signal, i can get it to join the network if i select manually my network but i can then make no calls or texts or log on to the gprs network. i am using pocket phone thingy for the today screen. and here comes the wierd part. when im out of signal in a non umts area the today screen plug in reports a signal strength ie 63% and above it it states attempting voice connection. and HERE THE REALLY WEIRD PART. i still receive my cell broadcasts when out of gsm signal. ie its searching and ill get a 'text' saying 0208, 01829 .
Please help and dont tell me i have to send it back to the idiots at SBE

It could be a hardware problem from what I can see
noooo that is not what i wanted to hear. argh any other ideas.?
How about performing a hard reset and don't install anything. Try to observe if it will act the same.
can anybody help me find a repair centre that isnt THE STUPID SBE in kent as they are ineducated and innefecient.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem with their Xperia X10i
A friend of mine has an X10i and is running on the AWS WIND Mobile network. What she is experiencing, is after leaving a "no service" area and entering back into WINDS coverage, her handset is not reconnecting back onto the network. She says she always has to manually research for it.
There is nothing wrong with her sim card, and I know through experience that my Nexus One doesnt' have this issue (even with the same network search settings).
Any ideas what could be causing this and how it can be fixed? My guess is Radio
im using x10i on WIND MOBILE.. i dont hv this perticular problem.. but often whn im dialing a number it'll be showing 'call ended' thn i hv to restart the phone n manually search the network... wel there r other issues also like directly getting 'missed call' msgs instead of getting calls..lol.. im confused, is it a phone or a network..
I have the exact same problem, i'm on O2 in the UK. I find if i'm in an area with no mobile reception for 12h or so when I go back to an area with reception the phone doesn't pick this up and still shows no reception till I turn it off and back on.

That sounds like it could be both... Does your phone ever say wind away? Is your phone set to manual only or set to WCDMA?

I to have the exact same problem but i just restart my phone and it works again.
Maybe after so long not being on a network it unregisters you?
Exact same issue with France/Bouygues
I had the exact same thing. Taking the train got my network disconnect and coming out from the underground train, I had to search manually or sometimes reboot my phone.
I updated the phone to R2BA020 manually with the SE Update Service and it seems to be much better (it also help on the battery and other stuff). Try it!

oh god! im getting same problem like ur frd... even harder! whn i come out frm basement parking my phone looses signal.. thn i hv to try it manually..it may detect operator after taking several minutes.. even if it detects operator it wont register on network showing SIM CARD DOENT ALLOW TO REGI. ON THIS NETWORK.. it wont work even tryin shutting off... takin battery out.. only thing works is.. i hv to take SIM out and put it in other phone to detect and register on network.. thn putting back it my phone works!! i tried putting my frds FIDO sim in phone it works fine all the time..
its not possible to keep two phones with me and switch SIM everytime i loose signal.. dont knw wat to do? i hvnt tried the setting code u'hv given.. i'll try n let u knw.. thanx for tht.. hv ur frd tried calling WIND regarding this??
i just used this code to get in settings.. it does saysWCDMA preffered.... i couldnt find the manual setup option tho..
ive much worst issue, not sure if its sim card problem. sometimes the sim card just cannot be detect by itself.
I have the same problem with my phone in Australia (Optus). Only started noticing after 026 update..
So here iam with yet another problem....here goes my story
Purchased the phone in nov 2010 and had airtel connection at that time....happiness ended in just 2dayz after facing some serious
Call drops,went to service centre and all they did was a factory reset,nothing changed.....everyone advised me to change my service provider,so i did.went for Tata docomo and call drops gone but now my phone was losing signal frequently,sometimes i got a message popup saying"refreshing sim data" and lost E sign and also couldnt make calls for few seconds.....sometimes while talking phone loses the signal sign and gets a red no signal sign instead........sometimes when someone tries to call me they get phone switch off msg but my phone is still running....and from last few days the packet data option gets unticked by itself,have to restart phone to tick the option.....and more probs....
Now 1 thing is clear the problem lies in the phone and not the service provider...
Even others are facing the same problem,just google "samsung galaxy 3 call drop"
So after my exams i will try to get my phone replaced no matter what they say....
Will they replace it?got it in nov,quite old but i have my bill and box....
BTW typing on phone sucks...

I have faced this problem a lot... This happens when GPRS/Edge services are enabled.
To the best of my knowledge, DDJP2 has the fix for that (Got a call from Samsung to confirm this to me)
Try that and let me know
I moved to airtel since thats the network compatible with G3 and i didnt had call drop

bro iam currently on ddjp2 only but i flashed it with odin...
i was on airtel before docomo and it was worse....
and i dont want to disable/enable again and again....
i just want a replacement!!

i have a prob with data.. im using 2 sim.. 1. umobile 2.celcom.. already set apn setting. but right now.. i cant even make data connection with my umobile and keep geeting roaming and for my celcom..should be H but i got E only.. is there any prob with my sim or phone.. anyone face the same problem?
just bought it yesterday.

i have the same problem only i get one more problem. I am connected at wifi connection and i cant open google or any site, i cant connect to playstore or anything that includes internet. Sometimes a window pops up saying that i should connect to an other wifi because the signal is week but this cant be because im next to the rooter and with my note 3 everything works fine...
after 3 days using it, go back to the shop.. and then he said, cannot support 3g. LOL.
