I purchased a Galaxy Tab on 12/27/10. It's my understanding I had 15 days to return the device. At this point, does anyone know if Best Buy would accept a return with a re-stock fee, or am I SOL?

John , I would just go and see what they say. However, I have not had good success getting electronic retailers to break their policies.
I was literally about to head to ATT to return mine when I saw this thread. I was told when I bought the tab that it was a 30 day return policy. I asked.
Just looked at the receipt and it clearly states that its a 14 day return policy unless you get a contract, which I didn't do. Oh well, I should have read it when I bought it.
Best Buy dropped their Restocking fee policy around christmas. You'll be fine. Just hurry up.
If you happen to be in California, retailers are required to offer a 30 day return policy on electronics (including phones) regardless of what the typical company policy is.

Was able to return my Galaxy Tab to Best Buy today after 29 days. I felt lucky since their online policy is 14 days.
I returned because of the lack of love, the lack of updates, and the rumors of newer tabs on the way.
AT&T has a promo running where you can pre-order a Gear S3 for $49 when purchased with a Samsung phone. I went from Note7 to S7 Edge on October 16th. I had already pre-ordered the Gear S3 at $249 but thought what the hell, why not call AT&T to see if they'd throw me a bone. The CSR asked me for my AT&T store receipt number from the exchange and got a supervisors approval to give me the $49 price. They had me cancel my online pre-order and put notes in my account for me to go in to a store today and get a new pre-order processed at $49. I did and they did and its supposed to ship November 18th.
The whole Note7 launch and cancel has been a debacle but I've been handsomely rewarded. I got a 256GB SD card with my first Note7, a Gear VR with the second, and now a Gear S3 for $49. That's on top of almost $100 in Samsung Pay first use credits for initializing it on 3 different phones. I also got my $100 credit for sticking with Samsung last week on my AT&T bill.
I'd imagine the Gear S3 thing is a YMMV and I'd suggest charm and gaining sympathy for what, as a Note7 owner, you've been through rather than brute force. Good luck.
Great deal! I got the Gear S2 on special when I got the Note 7. I doubt they'd upgrade me from S2 to the S3.

How the heck did you get all this deals? I can't even can get $25 for first exchange. When I try to get my $25 and I call AT&T what they did is transfer me form department to departament and at the end of the day after spending over 2 hours I get no where. Do I call wrong phone numbers?

The first one, a Gear Fit or 256GB SD card, everyone who pre-ordered a Note7 should have gotten (I chose the SD card). The second one, "buy a Samsung phone get a SD card or Gear VR," was meant for the S7's because Note7's weren't being sold to new customers until the 1.5M exchanges were processed. I exchanged my first Note7 for my second on day one of the exchange program and just sent the exchange receipt as proof of purchase for the promo. They accepted it but I heard from those filing later they stopped. All the Samsung Pay stuff anyone can get because Samsung doesn't really check whether the account is new or the phone is. So three new phones, three sets of Samsung Pay offers. The Gear S3 was just luck of the draw. I got a really nice CSR and she felt sorry for me having to go through three phones to end up with one I wouldn't have chosen (S7 Edge). So short answer is luck and timing.
P.S. - I got my first Note7 for $290 outright because AT&T f-d up a cross-line Next upgrade and couldn't figure out how to fix it. They told me to pay off my balance on my Next-returned and in their hands Note5 ($290) and just keep the Note7 and they cancelled its installment plan. As part of trying to fix the upgrade they bungled they inadvertently gave me two monthly installment credits I owed totaling about $85. Then I got a refund of about $90 to my account when I exchanged for a S7 Edge because it was cheaper. Then Samsung gave me $100 via AT&T for staying in the family. So net net I got a S7 Edge outright for $15 on top of all the free and discounted "stuff." All in all I did OK.
So I decided to return my Galaxy S8+ because I couldn't find a buyer for my previous phone and Im on Jump 2 and didn't want to pay for both. So I called today to inquire and the guy tells me tommorow is my last day to return. I proceeded to tell him the policy for online says I have 20 days and he let me know the date starts from when the card was charged on the 14th eventhough i didn't get it until the 18th. That sounds like bull but heads up. Oh at the end he told me I should return it today If didn't want any issues.

Thks.. i spoke to Tmobile CC on tuesday and he confirmed i'm in return period and send me the UPS label, but for most of the pre-order items return policy is 14 days..
Luckily i returned yesterday its 14th day..
Those who preordered or ordered the US Version of the S8 or S8+, how long did it take before you got it? I ordered mine (Model # SM-G955UZKAXAA) on May 31st directly through Samsung and I haven't even gotten a tracking number yet however I can simply walk into any Best Buy in my area and pick one up. I'm thinking of cancelling the order and just doing that.

I just ordered the unlocked version too from samsung.com and I did the trade in thing with my Note 5 and received 300.00 trade in value, but told me should ship in 1-3 days, I have too noticed that best buy has them in stock, but i wanted to just trade in my Note 5, I would be on the phone with them about it if I was you, also my order is suppose to ship 2nd day air, what type of shipping did you get with yours?

They are shipping 2nd day air but it has been a week now and still no sign of it being shipped. I called them last night and the rep said they weren't on backorder so I don't know what's taking them so long. She said I should be getting a tracking number today but still haven't gotten anything. I'm ready to cancel my order and get something else.

Yeah if mine doesn't ship by Friday I might just cancel mine, they should should be able to contact the warehouse see whats going on, unless yours just got lost at the warehouse, but Samsung wants to sell phones then they need to get there act together and ship orders promptly.

I know. We spend 800 something on a phone and the service is awful.
Ordered the S8+ 64GB (Unlocked), Model Number: SM-G955UZKAXAA, ( SM-955U1 ), through my Samsung account.
Ordered June 5th (evening after 5pm)
Confirmed June 6th
Shipped June 7th (picked up by FedEx @ 5:39pm in Indianapolis using 2nd Day shipping)
Tracking number states it will arrive June 9th between 9:45am-1:30pm. (North Florida)
Indirect signature is required. You, your neighbor, apt. office manger, etc. or sign door tag for delivery on the next attempt if they miss you. I have a FedEx Delivery Manager account but can't electronically sign it for this particular shipment like I can with my UPS account. I am leaving a signed signature waiver release form for both the phone and the separately shipped nano SIM card. If I'm not there and they don't accept my signature release form, it will probably be Monday before I get it.
Wouldn't you know it. I finally got my tracking number six business days later. I should have the phone in two days.
yeah I just woke up to email stating my has shipped and should be here Friday with indirect signature, so I will have to type up and sign a release and hope they take it.
FedEx accepted the my signature waivers and the S8+ was delivered as scheduled at 10:30am on June 9th. It was about 3.5 days from the time I submitted the order until it arrived at my front door.

Yeah I walked into best buy and bought one. Then went back 3 days later for the $100 credit from the price drop.
I'm sitting on the back ordered list. I have the $100 off plus the $200 trade in for any smartphone. I don't want to walk away from such a great discount.
Usually I'm quick to pre order but this time was a bit too late to the game, tried to order the 128gb variant on the Samsung UK store, but didn't work. Shows 21st of March as the earliest delivery date and then when you add to basket, it removes it saying there's no stock even though the first page shows there is.
How has everyone else's experience been in the UK, where did your preorder from and when do you expect yours to be delivered?

The discount is what made me order, been saying to the wife I wasn't upgrading. Didn't need to from my S10+ 512GB.
Then found an old email with the discount code and it was ordered... Discount code expired 15/02 so it was fate....

Well worth it for that price. I've currently got the Galaxy Fold, so not sure if I'll enjoy the S20 Ultra more or not.
Anyways just managed to preorder from Curry's, I've never used Curry's to Preorder before so not sure what they're like. Got an email saying I'll get the phone on the 28th of February, which is clearly rubbish on their part.
Has anyone recently ordered the Ultra from Samsung? The dates are now back to the 28th March
Pre-ordered on Samsung UK site. Delivery BY 28th March. I don't mind waiting for it.
Bare in mind, the whole Coronavirus outbreak etc will affect supplychains, so there could be a wait if you are late to the pre-order game.

Thankfully with a discount I got it for £909, will also throw in my P30 Pro on trade in program for extra £280.

They will be coming direct from Samsung, I know from previous S10 order from them. So be interesting to see if we get them early like some other direct orders have been doing in US. Be nice to have it Friday for weekend.
Just to let you know a significant number of Samsung phones are being dispatched from the main networks and Samsung this Sunday...

EE advised me that the 13th is the official launch for them, not sure if that's nationwide but I'd imagine so judging by what the CS for EE reacted like when I said people have already got the device.

TL;DR vodafone are idiots and make stuff up or not tell you the full info they have in front of them ?
pretty pi$$ed at Vodafone right now i pre ordered the ultra on 12th feb which a week later i found had been cancelled apparently fraudulent activity on my account ? I didn't get any notification that this had happened from them so there wasn't any
i had only called to ask if it would be much difference in price between the 128gb and the 512gb i told them i would have a think and call back later that day but when i did they said they would have to cancel everything and start over so i told them i will stick with the 128gb
found a week out later they just cancelled everything with this alleged fraud crap ? i replaced the order on 19th feb all good so far
got a text today saying 2 week delay so called them today to be basically told its Because i ordered on 19th wtaf?
the first agent i spoke too didn't even mention the attempt fraud just said they had no reason it was cancelled and basically suck it up its delayed from the order on 19th your in a second batch ? not happy with this i went back to customer complaints to be then told all about the suspected fraud that the first agent neglected to even tell me about even though i wasted 35 minutes trying to get an answer why i got my order cancelled in the first place?
the last agent informed me of what had gone on and then went on to say Samsung have delayed the 512gb in the uk or have limited numbers for the uk of the 512gb so its the 128gb or nothing for the Ultra at the minute and EVERYONE who pre ordered from Vodafone are getting this 2 week delay from release date of 13th ??
