I tried to install a custom rom on my galaxy note 3 n9005 with CWM recovery and it get stuck on ''starting aroma installer'' , so I tried to restore backup from internal storage I made earlier but it gets stuck on samsung logo. I tried to format system, cache and data but it doesn't help. What can I do? Please help...
CWM version is v6.0.4.8
You could flash back to stock using Odin and a stock ROM from sammobile.com.

I can get in CWM recovery and I also see the three backups I made. I tried to install all of them and it gets installed but then it always get stuck on that logo after reboot . Can I fix something from CWM recovery?
I downloaded a stock Rom from sammobile.com and flash it using Odin and it failed at the end of the process.....''Volume size is too big 122880 < 204800'' and below ''Invalid ext4 image''. What went wrong?
Is not enough space in internal storage?
added a Pit file and now is working..... Thanks audit 13

Hey, i have stuck at SGY logo, and odin don't seeing my phone.
I had Creed's Fusion 3.2 and i wanted to install this rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1758884
I did everything what was in instructions, and my phone stuck at SGY logo. So i decided to install stock rom via odin - but odin don't detecting my phone :/ Recovery works - i was going to CWM Recovery and doing wipe data and cache partition (few times), and dalvik cache (one time).
Nothing changed. I found a function - "format /system". If i do this i will can do something in cwm recovery, and install stock rom (flashable via cwm recovery), or maybe just install stock rom flashable via cwm or something like that? Please help!

You are wrong bro. Stuck on boot logo =/= Bootloop . They are very different things. In bootloop you can see your bootanimation but when you are stuck on boot logo, you can only see the black screen which says "galaxy y gt-s5360"

thanks mate for help..
SM-N9005 is soft bricked, owner probably went OTA and interrupted the update now when you turn on the phone it goes to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 logo then loops from there. I tried to flash official stock firmware downloaded from Sammobile (N9005XXUEND6_N9005OLBEND1_XTC) and it passed the flash in ODIN 3.09 then the phone automatically reboots into stock recovery and tries to update package but from I keep getting:
E: Unable to verify whole file signature
E: Signature verification failed
Installation aborted
I have been flashing firmwares on older Samsung via ODIN and as far as I know after flashing via ODIN the firmware is already written in the phone and it doesn't need to reboot into recovery and flash the update again but in NOTE3 it does this and now I'm stuck.
I tried flashing PhilZ custom recovery and disabled signature verification but when I flash the stock firmware via ODIN it overwrites the custom recovery back to stock recovery and then gets stuck again in the verifying signature thing.
Any help and inputs would be greatly appreciated.

If you can get into recovery why not try to do a
"Factory Reset", it may solve your problems.
Good luck!

I tried to do a factory reset in stock recovery, tried wiping the Dalvik cache as well but the problem is still there it just stays on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen then turns off then turns back on and loops over and over.

Either nuke the phone via a totally fresh ODIN update or flash Philz recovery, when it loops on you, take out the battery, put it back in then go to recovery mode, wipe the usual dalvik/cache etc then boot up (it should in theory work) (and/or flash a custom ROM just to get it to boot properly)

Thanks for the input, the main issue why I need to flash the stock rom is because the phone doesn't boot and is looping in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen then vibrates as if it turns on again and goes into a loop...
Question is can I flash a custom rom over it for example there's no firnware loaded on the phone or the firmware loaded is corrupted?
You can flash a custom ROM yes, so long as you boot Into your custom recovery, do the wipes. Then installing a custom fw should work OK, once you've done that you can go back to stock or change custom fw without issues

The reason it wants to boot into recovery is to flash the csc. Make sure you get the correct firmware for your device and region from sammobile.com and odin again, let it do its thing. It sounds like the csc wasn't valid.

Hello Guys
I was updating firmware stock rom from sammobile.com. During the flash the PC got rebooted. It was almost 75% completed. Now I am unable to flash any rom using odin.
I tried custom roms also but no go. Always after primary logo the screen goes blank thats it. Using ODIN it fails to apply stock firmware. Before the original custom rom I tried to flash leak lollipop rom where I used PIT file. After flashing this ROM nothing came up so I was reverting back to original ROM and It was in the middle of process but now nothing going on. ODIN fails everytime. Download mode and recovery mode is working. Please suggest further and please let me know what information required from my side
Wipe data and cache. Try another pc and beg the God. Good luck bro.
I already tried that but no luck.. wipe data /cache
I really need some advice here, I haven't been able to use my note 3 for a few days now.. Every time I reboot, about 3-4 mins into using I get "system ui has stopped" fc - I am using Resurrection Remix 5.6.8 MM Rom w/openGapps6stock - I have tried everything it seems.. even reflashing the stock firmware and starting from 0 again, and this system ui fc happens everytime.
Bug Report Attached.
Thanks in advance for having a look, any help would be appreciated.
R,
Jordan

Yes, if I dont do so, the flash will suspend and give a message saying to factory reset first.
I have never seen that message when flashing any Samsung phone via Odin.

This is flashing via TWRP 3.0.2.0
You're using twrp to flash a stock rom? I recommend using Odin or heimdall for flash a stock rom from sammobile.com.
sorry for the confusion mate. When I flash stock I use Odin only.. after all completed.. I will then factory reset again and wipe on twrp.. If I forget to wipe steps, the flash suspends with a message advising me to wipe first. I am going to update to Resurrection Remix 5.6.9 and see how it goes for stability fixes with the UI.
Possible its TWRP try Philz Recovery .
