I've just updated my Z2 to MM (.750) and I have to say I'm really impressed with battery performance on MM. Today I got 4h40 screen on time, while on LP I can only had about 2h30 ~ 3hrs screen on time, and half of the time I was using mobile data. If only Google Play Services is not that much of a battery hog
How is your battery life on MM so far? Is it better or worse than on LP?
I agree! My battery life is heavily increased!
I usually have 6 hours of SOT charged every 2 days with Lolipop. That's not amazing for me. It is worst

It's worse for me too.. And mobile radio bug sseems there as well

I've been on marshmallows, lollipop, and kitkat. Now, I'm sticking with kitkat, only because of the battery life and smoothness. Was disappointed with both lollipop and marshmallow!

I just told what I experienced on different versions. I'd happily upgrade or downgrade to any if that's any better than this. I'm open to suggestions

This was ridiculous. I need something (maybe a ROM) that'll help me strictly for battery as I don't even use my phone that much throughout the day
I only got 4+ hours today.
The screenshots I'm going to post in a minute cause idk why tapatalk is being a retardation.

Use a custom kernel and undervolt it, this increases batterylife siginificantly.
I think your best choice would be cyanogenmod 10.1 with cm kernel and gps off , 2G activated ,screen automatic or low and governor set to powersave these should help you

It's "false" reporting (probably due to BT LE being implemented) and NOT "draining" battery. For some reason, LG and Broadcom seem to have minor issues with the BCM4335... which handles BT/FM/WiFi and Baseband.... take your pick at which one LG have forked up. Irrespective, not a real issue. Just a minor reporting bug.

Oh okay, so there's no way to get rid away from this ?
i got a bad battery performance when updated to KitKat LG (rooted & custom recovery) D80220B
the drainage is faster as compared to JB LG or even AOSP rom like Mahdi or PA..
perhaps thats due to Bluetooth bug as someone has reported earlier..
My battery performance isn't bad but I didn't tested jb because I'm new on this LG and I directly installed kit Kat on it..
Envoyé de mon LG-D802 en utilisant Tapatalk
I get approximately 6h screen on with KitKat is it ok ? Or it should be more ? And battery life between jb and KitKat official is noticeable ? And which between aosp and official KitKat is better in battery life too ?
Envoyé de mon LG-D802 en utilisant Tapatalk
I would recommend an app called GSAM Battery Monitor. It will monitor exactly which apps are using your bluetooth, GPS, etc. You can use it to see exactly what app is draining your bluetooth.

If it's false reporting then it's causing me to go from 7-9 on screen time to 3 hours while using the exact same settings I used on jb. My reported usage wasn't 5%. It was 18%. Cell idle battery usage went all the way up to 16%. Back on 4.2.2 and currently am at 70% and 3hrs and 30mins screen on time. In my case I'd say it's more than false reporting.

Depends on several things - such as what actual KK ROM you are using, how you "flashed" it and so on. OTA is a very poor upgrade method, for instance, and leaves loads of crap behind. People with Audio issues. BT issues and Touch screen issues may find that flashing a fully Stock ROM kdz following a complete wipe resolves these. And 20B appears to be somewhat more "robust" too.

Folks,
I am so frustrated with Sony.
JB was working more than well, that they asked us to move to kitkat
Now the very last version has transformed my mobile into a mobile oven.
It is so hot that I am afraid to leave it on I am afraid to damage the battery...
Anyone experience the same issue with the latest firmware?
Build xxx. 757
Thanks for your help

Not normal, my phone doesn't get hot at all, though I do live in the UK and it isn't exactly hot here in the first place.
Media Server loop. One of your media file is corrupted ... so cpu usage is long, battery life is short and phone is hot !!!
thanks for the wise advise, I checked what was transforming my phone into a heater, it was INSTAGRAM
for some reason it was not working well with KK, after uninstalling it everything when back to normal
I will try to reinstall it to see if it helps
anyways thanks for your help guys

People reported .157 consumes slightly more battery than .133 generally while .133 is the most battery saver rom, maybe you can downgrade it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2401988
If you want to stick with .157 to get the latest features, change the default governor from Interactive to On-demand(set on boot) and enable MPDecision(set on boot), this should give you some help. Also use Greenify(donate) to freeze some unused apps to free up memory/cpu and battery.

And your battery is ok? Taking photos with flash drains current, if your battery is old the voltage dropping will be high. I mean if your battery doesn't last the whole day with normal usage consider replacing...
