Hello, my warm-heart friends and reverse-engineers from XDA.
I was wondering if someone could "hack" latest Xbox One Controller drivers for Windows 8.1; Because, they made one of the features exclusive to Windows 10, the Headset.
Yes, that is a way of persuading users to upgrade to Win10; I can't believe in people saying that the way Windows 10 reads the coding is too different, so Headset wouldn't work on Win 8.1
Thanks!

Here's the deal.
I need someone in the US to update my just purchased SX56 to windows mobile 2003 and I would also like to get the digitravel GPS. I will buy that separately and mail the machine to them and if they could do the upgrade that would be great. As far as the digitravel, I would like to have that set up so I can use the phone at the same time as the GPS, and have the power sources done the most efficient way as listed on all the forums. Let me know if anyone is interested in doing this and what they would charge. You guys are sitting here soldering and stuff and I can't even get my windows media player to play mp3's. I don't consider myself computer illiterate, but I am certainly getting frustrated w/ this thing!!!!

I upgraded to WM 2003 by going to this site:
http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org
He's German, and his instructions in English take a very close read, but his "WM2003 Final" Version A.30.09 ENG brought me up to Microsoft Pocket PC Version 4.20.0 (Build 13349).
Seems to be working mighty fine.
All the best, Carey
Leaponover, the digitraveller was a great idea at the time, however prices fo gps units have fallen dramatically and you are making work for yourself, just buy an off the shelf gps that is made for the job, a haicom 204e or 203e, or any other cheap unit will work great and you wont have the problem of charging the xda becuase they all come with dual charging/power cables.
Exclamation Arrow Broadcom Corporation announced the Widcomm BTW 4.0, a new release of its Bluetooth software, with enhanced security and adding advanced audio/video (A/V) capabilities to the industry's most widely adopted Bluetooth software. The new software was tested and qualified for native support and seamless operation with Mcft's recently announced Service Pack 2 upgrade for the Windows XP operating system (Windows XP SP2).
Wireless, high quality stereo audio headsets and speakers enabled by the new WIDCOMM BTW (Bluetooth for Windows) 4.0 software is a new application expected to drive widespread Bluetooth adoption for consumers over the coming years. A/V enhancements built into BTW 4.0 software will bring a new level of audio quality to wireless headsets, enabling a generation of products capable of delivering CD-like stereo sound without the need for wires. The same A/V Bluetooth profile support can be expected to appear in upcoming consumer electronics products like MP3 players, cellular phones, PDAs, and other appliances.
The company sees wireless headsets or speakers enabled with this technology streaming high quality sound while also performing remote control functions such as pausing or stopping play, and selecting tracks. In addition, consumers can utilise wireless speakers, enabling enhanced sound and audio distribution for DVD and CD playback.
Broadcom's WIDCOMM BTW 4.0 incorporates the latest software "profiles," which ensure a common set of features between two Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth profiles are developed and standardized through the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). BTW 4.0 features many of the latest profiles, which provide advanced multimedia capabilities including:
GAVDP -- Generic Audio Video Distribution Profile
A2DP -- Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
AVRCP -- Audio Video Remote Control Profile
BTW 4.0 also supports the Basic Imaging Profile, which provides the ability to "push" and "pull" images wirelessly between a mobile phone or digital camera and a PC.
"BTW 4.0 answers two distinct needs in the Bluetooth space: enhanced security, and the ability to effectively stream high-quality audio to wireless headphones or speakers. It is changing the dynamics of how consumers will experience multimedia content on their PCs," said Ron Wong, Senior Product Line Manager for Broadcom's Bluetooth software products. "Broadcom's unique ability to design and deliver all the critical technology pieces for next-generation wireless electronic devices enables our partners to bring products to market quickly and with features that hold great appeal for consumer markets."
PC OEMs are already shipping Bluetooth in a large number of their commercial notebook PCs and are expecting continuous growth and accelerated adoption into 2005. With this rapid adoption, large enterprises have expressed growing concerns over security and software virus spreads. The new WIDCOMM BTW4.0 software incorporates enhanced security capability to help address these concerns
The software is currently shipping to Broadcom's early access partners...and is available free of charge to all members exclusively

I replaced the files from your .rar dewild1 but i get the same message when i'm trying to "start using bluetooth" : " Your bluetooth software license does not include use with this Bluetooth device". Is something that i can do to make them work? I had the "rom version 2.06.00WWE" and the "radio version 1.18.00" and i can't syncronize my xda to activesync via bluetooth, and i hoped that this driver will help me.
Hi there,
question, I have an a2dp bluetooth headset, which I use to listen to my music on my diamond, but since I've stopped using Touchflo3d I have the following problem: the play/pause/ffwd/bwd buttons only seem to work with windows media player. even worse, If I'm listening to music with pocket player and I touch one of the buttons, it automatically starts windows media player.
How can I turn this off? is there a tool to configure which software uses my a2dp functionality??
Even though it's extremely dead, you really should post in the Condiuts forum - not here. AVRCP is problematic at best on Windows Mobile. It's one of the main reasons I'm ditching Windows Mobile entirely as soon as I can find a good phone sporting Andriod (I'm crying about HTC's decision to not provide a HD2 based Andriod phone).
Which version of Pocket Player do you use? I'm using 4.1. I think 4.0 and 4.1 are the only ones that properly support AVRCP. Even so, sometimes, as you note, it goes and starts controlling WMP. Stupid HTC caused this!
Meantime check out http://www.conduits.com/community/forum_posts.asp?TID=1785&PN=1
It talks about a new Bluetooth DLL that fixes a lot of the problems (but, unfortunately not all). This DLL is a Windows Mobile 6.5 based DLL so that may explain some of the times when it messes up.
Good luck.

Is anyone cooking a rom for the T-mobile HD2 that uses the Microsoft bluetooth stack instead of widcomm. I am looking to see if Microsoft Voioce Command will work properly with this stack.
yes. it would be nice to use my by keyboard and mouse again. LOL.
Subscribing to this thread, too...
Very Unhappy
I could not wait for the HD2 to be released on Tmobile. I have been with them for almost 9 years. I thought finally I can use their 3G network with the HD2. The last thing I expected was for the basic functions of the phone to not work. The phone does so much and is very advanced yet the basic bluetooth functions have been left out. I have spoken with both Tmobile and higher level support at HTC and honestly neither is going to do anything about the bluetooth support on this phone.
Well, if this is true, then it's becoming more and more clear that this is not something they just forgot to integrate - they omitted it on purpose, like the second camera (the second big fauxpas for a "high end phone"!), in order to have something left they can put into HD3 which makes people buy a new device...
I'm still wondering about the roms though - on PC I used to fight with BT stacks years ago. But it as always possible to install a different one, no matter what BT dongle I was using. Is it definitely impossible to create a rom with another stack? Is the stack somehow hard coded into the hardware?

Great question...I'm hoping there is an answer.
This would be so great if anyone could make my bt mouse running again on HD2. May be there could be a sourgeforce app or a MS BT stack cracked HD2-Rom.
If I only could use my BT mouse on HD2, may be in 2012 on WM8? Would be so nice for RDP, Virtual Machines, Gaming...
Someone tried on HD2 android with blueinput? Cannot get my BT working Android Running since my new Radio semms not to fit, will test later... I changed the BT working Android to the Phone working Android that is running fine on new Radio...

I was able to get a BT keyboard to work on my HD2 with stock rom. I never tried a mouse.
Does anyone know of any bluetooth heart rate monitors that they know for sure works with windows phone 8?
I know, for example, the lumia 920 has 4.0 hardware but wp8 does not support 4.0. I found this out the hardway by buying a polar H7 before doing any research
I have looked up various monitors such as the Polar H1 with bluetooth, which uses bluetooth 2.0, and every site I find says not supported by iphone or windows phone.
I also found a post on endomondo's web-site saying that they do not know of any devices compatable.
