Hi everyone,
i have tried searching for a compatible unit for a while now, but still unsure which one i can use for my needs.
Basically i would like a 2 din android head unit for my seat ibiza 6L2 from 2007.
Which has the basic functions like navigation, bluetooth phone connection, radio, music player, etc.
But most importantly i want to use Torque on it and if possible simultaneously connect the phone via bluetooth
DVD player is not needed and i do not have any buttons on the steering wheel.
Could anyone advise me on this??

Hey guys, I've been doing some reading around, and can't find a few answers. I have a 2013 F350, and wanna do a new head unit. My 2 main functions are running Spotify, with the ability to use my phone to control the songs, and integrate the steering wheel controls. I haven't found any head units that after specifically for my truck, so I will probably have to get a universal one. I like the ownice C500, but the steering wheel controls integration is a must for me. I had a nexus 7 in my previous truck, and liked it a lot, just want something that's more OEM looking and more reliable in the Las Vegas heat.

I just put a C500 in my 2007 Nissan Titan and connected up the steering wheel controls. They aren't automatic - you'll have to hunt down the 2 control wires and connect them up, then program the buttons using an app on the head unit. I'm pretty sure that's the case with ANY aftermarket unit. FWIW I added a SIM card from AT&T so I've got 3G (it says 4G, but it's only connecting at 3G on AT&T) so I can stream music and use Nav. Also you won't be able to control Spotify from your phone, rather, you'll do it from the Spotify app on the head unit.
Hi,
I have old cars without steering wheel stereo controls. But maybe some cheap new cars still don't have these, so some may relate.
Universal 2din Head units with px6 4gb and 7" screen (there would be space for more ) don't have skip track/next track button.
I also tried to find if there is way to use some Bluetooth remote with these units, but all info seems to be that it does not work.
I don't want to hard wire controls to steering wheel.
Is there some head unit that I missed? Is there a way to make bluetooth remotes work?
Maybe something with sc9853i has next track button?
BTW i found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wptzk5W6uxI - i did not know there were any px5 with matte screen!
Hello. I have two weird problems with my assotu head unit mounted in my 2018 seat toledo. #Aliexpress RON 888.37 57%OFF | Asottu VW301 android 9.0 PX30 car dvd gps navigation for skoda for vw golf 6 7 polo tiguan passat b6 b5 gps player car
https://a.aliexpress.com/_dW4IRG6 this is my navigation and here are two links on YouTube explaining the problem. https://youtu.be/3c05gMThh00 and https://youtu.be/3c05gMThh00 Basically when I connect my phone to the navigation via Bluetooth, and try to play some music, it auto pauses, and in my cockpit, behind the steering wheel, it doesn't show that I am connected to any phone. But if I hit Bluetooth music on the tablet, it automatically works.*
* * *The other problem is the fact that the navigation starts in the Bluetooth app, and every time I put the car in reverse, no matter what app I am in (like waze or YouTube etc) when I take it out from reverse, it automatically goes to the Bluetooth app. Attached to this email I have 2 videos showing this problem. Please help me fix it. Regards.*
All,
I have two of these in my commuter cars. (2007 Saturn Ion/2001 Impala)

I commute around 100 miles a day.
I have been pretty happy with these Binize especially for the price point. I have a rear camera on both.
I use it daily for GPS, radio, my playlist (on thumbdrive), and Podcasts (Stitcher). I expect them to be a low end GPS tablet with an amp and they do that. I also have a ELM327 and the Torque app installed on the head unit.
It took some trial and error to get everything setup software wise and I was meticulous on the wiring (soldered connections/heat wrap/full install kits etc.).
They have been installed for over a year now.
Anyways I have decent size fingers and the side of the screen volume can be tricky especially in the Saturn. So I picked up one of these;

The Remote Control unit pairs fine with my Samsung Note S10+ cell phone. It adjust my cell phones volume well and does what it should . The head unit under the Bluetooth icon under AGAMA sees the X09 Bluetooth device but does not Pair as my ELM327 does. I have deleted the ELM327 out of the Paired Devices to see if that is the issue but to no avail.
Is there any application I could download to see what is going on. Is this a issue with Android Head Units?
Are there better Remote Control Units out there to consider?
Also while we are discussing Android Head Units. What Applications or hardware do you have on yours that you find interesting?
Thanks
Chris
Included is what I am seeing...
I have same approach to those head units - low end tablet with BT, gps, mp3, video and reverse cam cappabilities.
But according to your problem with BT connection. Im not sure if bluetooth in those radios is fully functional as in other devices (for transmit files, tethering internet etc) or its just like head set - limited capability only to hands-free talk via cellphone.
But if you use it with ELM (or other CAN decoder), than it should work with SWC also...
Maybe try without Agama launher? Use stock software for test
I think that there are better options for steering wheel control. At the back of your radio there should be two additional wires, marked as KEY 1 & 2. They are designed to be used with resistance-based controls.
Do a refund with that you already have (with BT) and buy this:

or

But before that make sure that you have key1 & key2 (or SWC 1 & 2,)
It also uses BT communication, but not this one in head unit. It has own BT module which you solder to harness and sends resistive signals via key 1&2 wires.
Personally I dont use wireless steering wheel control, but instead i bought controller like this

cheap, reliable, easy to install and doesnt require batteries to run.
If you need more buttons you can install the second on other side

Hi All,
My brother just purchased an all-in-1 9" Android head unit + facia for his 2005 Mazda 6 (GG). Listing can be seen here:

He has installed the unit and everything works fine while the car's ignition is only turned to accessories. However, as soon as he turns the car key 1 click further to power up the ignition (but the not has not yet started), the steering wheel controls go nuts. That is, once the key is turned to ignition, it's like one of the steering control buttons is constantly being pressed and the head unit either continually skips through songs or it continually skips through tuning radio stations, depending on whether the unit is set to playback songs or to the radio. Curiously, this problem doesn't occur when only the accessories are powered on (ignition not yet powered on).
The details of his unit are shown in the attached image. He currently has the steering wheel controls disconnected due to the issue, which I'm guessing is why the unit shows "Ruishengwei-Mazda6--disconnect".
I did some searching but didn't find anyone else reporting this issue. Anybody have any insights as to what might be the issue? If so that would be greatly appreciated.

My brother has sent a message to the seller querying about the steering wheel control issue, but no response yet, unfortunately.
Okay, good news. My brother managed to sort the issue. For anybody who has the same problem, here are the details of the fix that worked for him:
Coming from the 9" Android headunit there's a wire called 'Key 1'. This Key 1 wire needed to be connected to the red/blk wire of the Mazda's headunit wiring harness.
I should also mention that his Mazda 6 GG has the non-Bose stereo, however, as seen in the attached image, the non-Bose and Bose headunits both have the same red/blk wire.
