Try switching the OTP NV filters on/off etc. I had similar issue on U8860 and somehow I was able to write all the info back eventually. I don't remember what I specifically changed though. Great to know IMEI is back though!

Thanks Blefish,
The IMEI is back as I wanted
I tried that option as well. As you can see on the screenshot, I see the WiFi keys in the application as before but the same does not show on my device.
Tried both OTP NV Enable & Disable but still the same result.
If you recommend, ill flash the official update again if that can bring back the wifi keys or else ill leave it as it coz your Ideos Setting app does have that option and you I hope we will have it in CM12 as well
EDIT
DFS Demo helped in ficing WiFi keys. NV option helps as Blefish pointed out
Now all if fine - IMEI & WIFI
thanks a lot for your help and assistance

Hi Blefish, I would like to know if your SN is correct (in settings) after using DFS.
On my Honor I have everyting OK only when I restore it via 5iromtoolbox, but I cant flash any rom except B939 after that :crying:
I wonder if you have SN the same as MAC in settings, too

In my U8800 everything is ok, however, U8860 had zero imei and zero BT/MAC address (which was set to a random one). The serial number shown in the projectmenu tool (Huawei firmware stock) shows correct serial number (the 16 digit one, same as on the phone behind the battery).
In U8800pro/U8860 ICS release, Huawei is using the Settings->Status serial number same as MAC address. If the serial number shows unknown, MAC addresses are incorrect too.

Yes. Until I made changes to BT MAC it showed nothing, but now I have it working.
PS: Why new branches?

For TWRP (and maybe more) .
Hello guys,
my U8800-51 is on the latest LegacyHuawei CyanogenMod 11.0 by Mr Blefish but i ended up without no WIFI MAC and BLuetooth. So i tried as stated on this post to downgrade to android 2.3 but when it gets to part 2/2 of the installation, gives me an error... Then, i proceeded to use DFS v14 to try to write the MAC adress (still on CyanogenMod) but it failed to find the COM PORT through PC (ADB install correct and showing the device, USB debuggin enable). The only way i managed to see the port in the device manager and DFS is tu putting the phone on the PINK SCREEN (Download mode, right?). but, DFS throw me some errors like CPS_BPSR and so on.
I also tried enabling DIAG port through ADB but didn't work.
So far, it has failed... But maybe you can help me.
I understand this is a very old phone, but i live in a 3rd world country where phones are ver expensive (not to mention an Hyperinflation process that we are living through). So, i have to try everything to save it.
Thanks in advance for you help
Regards
Hi
I have this phone and tried to upgrade (without make any backup of any kind) it to 2.3 with some problems. I was brick my phone and use my brother phone (same model) to make a complete backup and restore my phone.
Doing this I get a exactly software copy in my phone, including my brother's IMEI, WIFI and Bluetooth MAC addres. I have no problem having the same IMEI, but when We try to connect to the same WiFi Network only one of us get it.
I tried many WiFI MAC Addres change methods using Terminal or Root Explorer. Nothing make any change.
Actually, I found the nvram.txt with a Address diferent. So I change it to my real addres and a have the same result.
Any help with this?
You can restore it with the DFS.
Hi,
Does anyone know how to use Maui Meta to fix, remove flash wi-fi vram errorx10 on Android 6.0 K5 Note?
I used the latest version Maui Meta 9.163.23 and it fixed my invalid imei numbers. Now I have a working phone again.
But I am still left with the wi-fi vram errorx10 and serial number 0000000etc.
Does anyone know the steps and procedure I would use with this tool?
Can this tool be used in this application?
I really like Maui Meta for mtk6755 chipset as the latest version has all the files and support built in (No browsing files for md_1 db file etc).
Any help would be much appreciated in all respect.
Kind regards,
G-Star17

assuming that u still have nvram error...
1. Download sp meta(google it)
2. Connect ur phone with it(procedure is same as that of maui meta)
3.now open nvram editor
4.it will ask u for nvram database file...
5. Now find a file(or whatever ) in the file tree having name "custom wifi"
6. Now it will give u an array of some units...
7 select hex and write ur wifi mac addres in it and flash...
The guide is very brief..
Hope u are able to solve ur problem
Hello,
I made a full TWRP backup and restored to another device. It seems that I also restored the EFS partition by mistake
Now, both of my devices have same mac address for wifi and bluetooth which is causing lot of issues for me. I tried to change the mac address using busybox but it doesn't seem to work.
Is there a way to edit the EFS file and modify the mac address ? I tried to edit using UltraEdit but I didn't found my mac address in it.
Any help would be very nice
(concerned device : Samung Galaxy Tab A 2019 10.1" with Nexus Rom)
OK, finally found it in the Ultra Edit. the mac addresses are splitted on 2 rows. youmust search for a partial mac address.
