Disabling soft keys? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm a big fan of LMT and I hate the soft keys. I tried adding this
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
No luck! I'm rooted..

You can give a try to Xposed Framework. The Gravity Box module in it, will help you hide/disable Nav keys.

Recents button

Has anybody found a way to change recents button to menu button for single press? I thought this would be in options but it seems not. Thanks
Edit: Xposed additions allows it, as far as I can tell, this is the only way for now.
Can you tell which xposed module you used? I've tried several and none seem to work. Thanks!
Could have been GravityBox [LP]:

EDIT: I managed to change my recents button using this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spazedog.xposed.additionsgb&hl=en

How to hide soft buttons WITHOUT GMD immersive. I am rooted.

I have been using pie controls for a year now, in order to save screen space.
Recently after clearing my cache the onscreen buttons came back.
I can not remember how to hide the buttons. I know for a fact that I didn't use an app.
Do you have Xposed installed? I'm certain that you can hide this with gravity box.

Edit your build.prop and place this at the bottom.
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1

Softkey Mods for nav bar

Anyone know if any apps either root or none root would allow you to customize the navigation soft keys? I would like to add a menu key option to the current 3 options we have now. Stock LG options dont allow it.
Ill second that miss the menu button

I just downloaded Swiftly from a dev here and I've never been more impressed with a substitute for soft keys. And soft keys are a huge complaint for me.

The paid version is worth it.

How to hide Soft Keys on HD10 (7th Generation)

Hi,
Is it possible to hide soft keys (triangle, round, sqaure) on HD10.
Buttons are always showing which is really annoying. For some games I cannot have full screen and button will show up.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Depends on generation and root status. If rooted you can try GravityBox which is a Xposed Framework module. Such tweaks are not for the faint of heart and can trigger other instabilities; ya gotta really hate dem soft keys ...
