Hey! Not trying to be mean but the post title was and is very misleading, I would honestly suggest deleting it.there are a lot of people wanting on root and by your title you will honestly probably get flamed for it.... It kind of gives a VERY false sense of hope
Unstable temp root via Kingroot app, reboots randomly (usually within 5-10 minutes from my experience, but long enough to uninstall the bloatware from verizon). Thats about it for right now.

Huh? Well then
Did you actually click on any of the links or try this out? Looks like one of those stories ppl write to get traffic to their site. If this was legit, the other threads would have been buzzing about it.....

that is CF-autoroot, it is only valid for DE models.
Mods please just lock this thread it's causing distractions and forcing everyone to rehash the same stuff already covered in the pinned thread.

ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE
I've just updated my Galaxy Note3 SM-N9005 via kies to Build number N9005XXUDMK2 and now I can't root it, It fails every time...
My version is N9005XXUDMJ7 and my build number is N9005XXUDMK2.
I don't know if it has something to do with it, but when I enter download node I see a gray line saying: "Write protection: Enabled".
Can anyone please tell me how can I gain root access again ?
I'm tring to flash this file: "CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5" with "Odin3 v3.09.exe"
which I found in this site: http://true-android.blogspot.co.il/2...note-3-sm.html
This is the log from odin:

FIXED THAT MYSELF
Disable reactivation lock
Goto
Settings>Security>Reactivation Lock
Enter your Sasmung ID Password
Reboot in Bootloader Mode and give it a go!!
ROOTED
I've been searching for 3 days now and I haven't seen anyone with the same problem. I've tried everything I can think of. I have disabled reactivation lock. Every time I see someone with the same error the problem is they need to disable reactivation lock and it always works.
Here's the error I get:

I Have tried every single USB port on my computer, and it still doesn't work. I have NO idea what to do!
(I have SM-G900V and I'm using CF-Auto-root)
SM-G900V has a locked bootloader by default.
It does not accept custom recovery.
have NO idea what to do!
