I didn't get it what are u saying, you can't boot your phone now? If you can access recovery, than flash rom again (do clean flash, wipe everything) and install pico gapps. I am having same device and that works for me

Okay, so i try pico gapps... And I can boot my Phone xd but it reboot when it want xd
Edit: I did full wipe and installed cm12.1 with opengapps Pico package... And from yesterday it reboot one time... We will see what it be
I don't know what's the problem then. That solved for me, try with different recovery maybe that's problem with flashing. I used latest cm 12.1 and resurrection remix also latest with pico gapps, and didn't have any reboots after that

AICP Floating Window
Tried to ask this in the rom thread, but it directed me here. Chrome beta always opens in a floating window, and I can't figure out how to turn it off. All other apps open normally. I am sure it's a simple setting, but I can't find it!
@op... in the main thread you said that you are saying bye to 4.4.... What is happening?

This is a chrome beta bug... Maybe you can try to use Chrome from gapps package?
It's fine, I just couldn't figure out how to turn it off, that explains why. Thanks!

Are new F2FS builds comming? Or are there a simple way to convert the regular builds?
Sent from my klte using Tapatalk
What are the steps needed to convert to f2fs? I'm using ktoonsez twrp recovery. I converted data, system, cache, one at a time. Then I tried flashing the ROM but kept getting an error, unable to open zip. I tried this with a stock kernel. Do I need an AOSP kernel for the conversion to work?
Any get this connected to sprint LTE?

I was having difficulty until I followed @Opex guide. 1. Download the latest unofficial build (posted this morning) then copy this to SD card.
2. Next covert all the required partitions as stated No need for any other wipes after this
3. Flash ONLY the ROM.... NOT GAPPS
4. Let it boot. The aicp update will show a gapps to download
5. Download and install this, then Boot up
I had a couple of force closes did a reboot and everything was fine

Not Working for me too Stuck at cyanogenmod boot logo
I am using the cyanogen Mod from the following link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note/development/dior-cyanogenmod-11-redmi-note-4g-lte-t2994580
I am having CWM philz touch recovery.
I do the factory, reset, then, clear cache and clear dalvik cache, then doing Clean to install a new Rom.
After that flashing CM11 from above link and Gapps, Whenn I tried booting it goes inside CM11 and everything is great.
Then to recovery and installed Xperia Rom and after that FC.zip.
But Sadly after this it goes to CyanogenMod Boot logo anf never advances.
Am I missing anything here. ..??
Finally its was able to flash z3rom after lot of trying. I was also stuck at cynogen boot logo many times then I tried this
1. install cm11
2.reboot system
3Install cynogen
4. wife data,cache...
5flash z3 rom
6 reboot
7. flash fc fix
8 install gapps
9. reboot
Is don't know how but this worked for me.

You can use this build.prop tweak "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to disable navbar. Just copy the syntax and paste it to build.prop file in system.

Hi Rajender,
don't panic. i think it need to flash google apps separately. google the best GAPPs suite based on ROM, download it and falsh the same from recovery. I think Slim Gapps is better to flash.

Hello, please have a look at this similar problem mentioned in that thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/help/phone-shuts-notifications-t3700167
Your best choice is to backup everything and wipe system and data partition and install viperos again without any mod or 3rd party app. Then check if it's happening again.
A better battery stats dump can also help to identify Roque processes that heating the phone while running in background.
Otherwise stock rom can maybe a test too.
Thanks
I'm on stock nougat, rooted device with elementalx kernel. I was facing random switch off's mostly on incoming calls on both custom and stock roms (Tried many oreo roms multiple times). After reverting back to stock I noticed whenever I flash gapps package I am experiencing such issues. To confirm this theory I didn't flash gapps package this time and haven't noticed any problem since then. Maybe problem persist due to flashing of gapps in my case. Hit like if this helps.

I guess I'm in the minority too, but why is that a bad thing? Couldn't you freeze the system Gapps, then install them anew? Seems like a good method to make your system Gapps systemless.

Yeah, I did it to avoid individually installing each g-app cause I'm lazy af. I like some google apps which aren't available pre-installed on stock so it's not weird if I do that.

Yes, cause I experienced this problem on custom ROM too. You can use nano gapps and install other apps separately. That doesn't cause problem to me.

I tried to remove apps by this method and my phone started to crash, aroma package was good deal cause I'm lazy to freeze and reinstall each package.
