did you flash 6.0.1 with or without wiping the data? if you didn't wipe the data then wipe it, do a factory reset from recovery maybe the old data files are causing the problems.
I wiped and now installed new rom RR still same problem

It's probably the sensor in your battery that is going nuts. It's not software related.
Radio battery drain
hi I searched around the forums but i wasn't able to find a solution to my issue, i have the x1563 Telus Canada variant, i got tired of waiting for the 6.0.1 OTA, and i wanted root so i flashed this ROM "[ROM][Lux][XT1562/3] ֍ Marshmallux v2.0 ֍ Stock based ROM 6.0.1 [MPD24.107-52]" so now i have two radio signal in my notification drop down, one has my telus signal and the other just say emergency call, as you can see in the screen shot my even when i have full bars it showing my cell reception as bad (Orange or red sometimes), is there any way i can disable the second radio or just turn it off?, can anyone please help me or guide in the right direction please and thanks.

I would just unroot, flash stock lollipop, get mm update (6.0) OTA, then get 6.0.1 MM update. Then root it and you should be good to go.

I thought I had performed all of the necessary checks before flashing Cyanogenmod on my Note 3, but it turns out it hasn't worked 100% as planned.
Everything is absolutely fine, bar the fact that I can't actually use it as a phone. I'm able to send and receive texts and also use data, but whenever I go to make a call, the call ends and if someone tries to call me, they hear ringing, but nothing makes it through to my Note.
I found this post reporting a similar issue. I'm locked into O2 in the UK, so I'm guessing it's something along those lines.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this or do I need to restore to a backup?
Use a CyanogenMod build from 3/27 or earlier and you will have calling back. It's a bug that is still not fixed as of today

Thank you. I'll give that a go just now.
Edit: That worked. Thanks for the heads up!

Same problem here
Have exactly the same problem with SM-N9005 on Cyanogenmod Nightly 28/03 onwards, and can't dirty flash back to 26/03 somehow, have to clean install 26/03 to make the phone working again. Super annoying...

I know that feel, bros, but on a stock based rom it works.
Yesterday I wrote this post:

Guys, everytime I flashed an AOSP based Rom like Carbon on my hltexx, nobody can call me and I also can't call someone else. If I dial a number, the connection seems to break instantly but my mom told me, she got my calls but didn't hear anything. I'm also unable to change or view the access points.
Stock based Roms like Omega work correctly.
WTF am I doing wrong? :crying:

I have a Note 3 N9005 which was working perfectly fine until fews days back it's display started showing this pattern (as shown in photo). It gets normal, once I restart the phone.
So guys I want to know whether it is a hardware issue or is it some problem with my ROM?
PS. Im running it on official Lollipop ROM flashed using Odin, but not updated OTA.

That doesn't look good at all mate. Seems like something wrong with the panel, hardware, yes. Because no ROM is out there which could create a mess like that. But I would be more than happy to be wrong.

You may have some corrupted system files.
- Please factory reset your phone (through android settings), flash ROM again (KSA or NEE lollipops are fine), reset your phone again, this time in recovery.
- If again doesn't work, remove battery from your phone, keep pressing your power button, and leave it without battery for a few hours.
Place your battery back in and hope for the best.
- You may also consider also that your battery may be defective.
- If nothing solved your problem, try reverting back to KitKat.
If after all these options, nothing solved your problem, that it's very likely to be hardware related.

I have the exact same issue, initially it was just a few lines not the complete screen, but now its exactly the same case as of your's. I am sure its a hardware issue, i have tried everything format, stock, reset knox etc. nothing worked. it started after a few "very humid" rainy days, so i guess it is due to humidity, i am thinking of a screen replacement.
what have you done till now?
I just took the phone to a local repair shop. The guy replaced the main board and it just worked perfectly.
The problem was basically with the board and not with the screen or ribbon.
I was offered repair of the current board for 40$ and replacement of the board for 100$.

I can definitely get a full day of use but this battery life is not as good as my friends s7 edge that is a power user. On vacation my droid turbo died (lots of video and photos) and at the end of the day he still had 40 percent!
Just wondering if it's this new update? I have disabled every stock app that I don't use.
I am used to an unlocked bootloader device or equivalent with Xposed and such. I will say that I don't really "need" root with this phone. It does everything quite nicely. But I am kinda regretting letting the system update and now I am basically locked out of rooting this?
Would another factory reset be my only option here? TIA
Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
You mention a droid turbo, is that the phone you have? If so, this is probably the wrong forum to ask in.
If you do have an edge, what firmware are you on? Afaik the engineering kernel for root has worked on every update so far, but it certainly won't improve battery life.

Thanks for the reply! I have an s7 edge for Verizon. And you're right for some reason rooting seems to worsen the battery. Here's my system info. I've tried using the battery optimizer, not using it, disabling Google sync, doesn't matter still has super high android system and android OS usage.
I guess I'll try another factory reset?
My friend also just confirmed what I was not hoping for, his s7 edge battery life has also worsened since updating.
Is there a way to revert back to previous versions and prevent update notifications? Tia
Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
If you don't use vvm WiFi calling or video chat I say go u firmware. If you do use all that try a clean Odin install of the new firmware. Layered on ota updates can cause issues.
As you are on PH1 firmware, you cannot downgrade to a lower firmware. The bootloader was updated in that version. As the other poster has suggested, you could try a clean flash of PH1 or the latest u firmware.

You can flash the PH1 firmware from here and use the HOME_CSC instead of the CSC_VZW and you will unroot and not have to reinstall apps. Or you can flash the PI3 U firmware with no Verizon bloat from here but do the opposite and flash CSC_OYM instead of HOME_CSC_OYM and factory reset. All the directions you need are in post 1. These are the only two firmwares you can flash because you are on PH1 with a updated bootloader.
I am not currently rooted

I have not received it yet. :crying:
Good to hear, nougat is rolling out. Are you happy with it?? Idle is worse now, i lose up to 10% during the night.
Unfortunately I am not able to install that update because my original firmware wasn't not unbranded European version

Anyone else got it via ota??? I want to hear some opinions about idle and standby. My main trouble on nougat is battery discharge during sleep time.
On other hand everything else is super smooth, no heating issues.
Today LG G5 SE(H840) got Android Nougat update.
Macedonia.
Thanks LG!
Can we just flash a firmware from the site below?, if yes how do we know the exact version?
https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h840-firmwares/
Did anyone received the Update in Germany!?
Open EU version nobrand (Germany) got update v20d 1h ago.
"Improvement of functionality and more user friendliness of this phone is now even better than before", yes very detailed and informative changelog.

I haven't got it in Germany too, my phone was bought unlocked too (LG G5 SE H840)!
Does Nougat update enables 60 FPS video recording like on G5 H850 model?
Poland - just installed v20d. But that changelog.. wow. just wow. I don't even know what that update is doing, i really hoped it to be 7.1 :c

It seems that i have auto brightnes issues after that update. I set auto brightness ON but after restart auto is OFF and brightness is at 100%. Anyone else has this?
All good here.
Got the same update 2 days ago in Italy too for a no-brand version h840.
So far so good, nothing seems changed.
We're still on Android 7.0

I was setting up the phone for my wife without a SIM card after hard reset. When i put the sim in the phone it did some minor update and everything is fine now.
Well few days ago i received ota with September security patch. Post some screens with sot and standby drain.
My phone is H910 but I flashed H915 kdz on it for the Oreo update. So far everything works fine except I have pretty bad battery life. Idle overnight the phone lost 30-50% of battery. I installed betterbatterystatus looking for the wakelocks and here it is.

Looks like it's the call service causing the wakelocks. How do I fix this issue? Please give me some advise. Thanks!

That looks to be related to the modem files if you are on att and not in Canada ? then the phone might be struggling keeping you connected to the network. You would need to find a way to flash the 910 modem files or switch back to a 910 rom

Sadly no. But luckily there is a rooted H910 Oreo rom available so I just follow the rooting guide to root my H910, and flashed the Oreo stock rom. Everything works fine now.

OK thats good to know because I feel like I got a new phone. Updating to Oreo and doing factory reset fixed network data and call issues I had.
