Does anyone have a list of ROMs for Moto X style that actually work with dual sim support? Most of the popular ROMs I see and two of which I downloaded do not support dual sim and detect the sim cards.
But the problem is, it isn't even explicitly mentioned.
Can anyone help prepare a list of dual-sim-ready ROMs for the India variant?
:good:
AICP
BrokenOS
Orion
Temasek
CrDroid
I'm currently using TruPureX

My understanding is that only certain international variants support dual-sim and that it's hardware related. Are you (or is anyone reading this) currently using a custom ROM to enable dual-sim for US Moto X Pure XT1575?
TIA

I'm using [ROM][CM12.1][5.1.1_r24] Temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build v18.3 ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/hlte-spr-vzw-temaseks-unofficial-t2953375
and I have SM-N900W8 from Rogers, the rom works great, and phone functions good, never been been more happier. Not sure if this is what you were looking for since you mentioned something about CM, and I couldn't find anything that says pure android sorry.
I have a JFLTEUSC, but most ROMs call for a JFLTEXX. If I flashed an xx ROM on my USC variant (Like ressurection remix) would cellular service work (calls, texts, data, etc)? Or would the phone not boot at all?
Not all ROMs will work on all variants. I believe it depends if your device is CDMA or GSM. In the USA only Sprint and Verizon are CDMA. If your device uses GSM, then you should be pretty safe to flash any JFLTEXX ROM.
Crap, because I have a CDMA phone. If I want to test a rom, could I just flash it and see if I get any signal?

Yes, but you most probably won't.
JDCTeam ROMs are universal.

So I'm pretty much stuck with JDC ROMs unless I want to use like 3 year old lollipop ROMs (Not that JDC is bad, but I would like some variety)? Shouldn't the modem handle all cellular services? How hard would it be to rebuild ressurection remix with CDMA?

Well CM14, or LineageOS 14, does exist for our devices. However, the developer for it was not able to get the sim card from our devices to work so he halted development. It may be possible to get the sim card to work, but I don't even know of a solution for that.

Don't be sad man .
Exynos 5433 with stock rom >> Snapdragon with developing made Oreo .
I heard a lot of people having problems with snapdragon but Exynos is stable as a rock .
see i dont have any problem if they just bring noguat to us .. i dont need much .. my main issue with the stock rom is DPI , if you change it a lot of mistakes will appear for example dialer and camera , toggles in notification will be small and just 5 in each row ,, like these mistake , and in the end magisk systelmless root

Temasek Lollipop and Marshmallow based, Lineage was best for Nougat and for Oreo Dot OS.

Many Thanks
I'm not interested in having the latest Android version available because I use it as a forklift smartphone, so what do you think is the fastest, most fluid and stable?

May be you can try any of the Marshmallow or Lollipop builds. Nougat and Oreo are slightly on the heavier side for our phone.

Is any good Oreo Go ROM available for it??
use stock rom 4.4.2
Nougat the lighter way!
if you happen to use your phone for a simpler basis, you can try out the /e/ ROM for beloved moto e. it tends to be on the lighter side even on the nougat while keeping the google services, albeit in a lighter form.

You have any temasek zip with you? Didn't found that anywhere. I remember this was the finest ROM out in that time. Thanks

I have but I have recently flashed it and found Wifi not working after flashing the latest magisk. You can go with the Slim unofficial build of 2017 its MM based, can find the download link among unreleased builds of Condor. Its quite fast and more suitable for our devices if you want a fully functional and a fast phone.

Hello,
for my S8 I found after a long search a ROM called "Hades", which was a mod of Samsung firmwares. Since Lineage & Co won't support VOLTE as far as I understood, I wondered if there is something similar for this device, meaning a custom (debloated) ROM which supports VOLTE?
It doesn't need to be the newest version of Android of course.

Searching in the S10 plus threads would be your best bet But most non stock based roms do not have support for volte could be different for exynos as I am used to qualcomm
Thanks for your reply.
My searches there led so far to nothing. I guess If I give that device a try, I stay with debloating it via adb and that's it.
Maybe in this section I'll find something. But I am still missing the great picture.
