Hi, on my ex S5 with Wanam I could use NFC when the phone was sleeping. Is anybody knows how to proceed with S7 in order to have this great function?

Hi I am very confused.
I bought 2 different cases for my girls friends Galaxy S4. One is working but does not have the S-window. The other has S-window but does not have sleep and wake function.
My questions is: How does the sleep and wake function been activated on the phone? Is it similar to an iPad where there must be a little magnet on the case to activate the function or is it purely activated by sensors on the Galaxy S4? Or other ways? I noticed the S4 has plenty of new features that uses its internal sensor so I am thinking maybe the sleep and wake function was implemented automatically as long as you get a flip cover case.
Anyone know?

Yes sview is activated by magnet. The sensor is close to the volume down button but more at the back of phone than the side.
You need a reasonably strong magnet, I found that a fridge magnet wasn't strong enough. Need stronger one.
P.s. The title of thread isn't quite right should be more like "how is S-view activated"

Hey guys,
With the new NFC unlock feature in Lollipop, you are still required to swipe a screen which is stupid in my opinion. Xposed NFC Screen Unlock or whatever it was called had NFC polling with screen off and when you placed your NFC tag to it, the phone unlocked right to the home screen.
Has anyone figured out a similar result in Lollipop?
I'm looking for this feature as well. Especially considering Xposed is Lollipop incompatible
Any changes?
Hey,
since the skype app exists I have the problem that if I'm having a call within Skype an I'm using my headset the proximity sensor is still on.
So if I put my hand over it, and that happens way more often than you think, the screen turns off.
Is there any way to turn of the proximity sensor on our loved S7 edge?
Actually my S7 edge isn't rootet but I'm willing to root it if that would solve my problem.
Has anyone had an issue with auto wake/lock not working? Opening/closing the Moko case I just got does not wake or put to sleep the tablet. I also tried with a Nexus 9 case which works with my Nexus 9 and no luck to trigger screen on/screen off.
I am stock not rooted, using ADW launcher - but have also tried with stock Huawei launcher. Fingerprint reader is in use to wake/unlock screen (if that matters)
Is there a setting I am not aware of? Or, does the wake screen feature not work with the M3?
Your insight is appreciated.

This fixed it! Thanks. The Smart Cover setting was turned off.
Interesting how you can just look and look at the settings and keep jumping over the obvious one.
What apps would anyone recommend to allow the proximity sensor to wake and sleep the V20? Anyone use one regularly? What app and what settings in the app?
Thanks!
I've found this one to be pretty good and up to date:

I enjoyed the pocket unlock feature.
I've used this in the past (not on my V20).
