How is your call quality? I'm on O2 UK and can say sometimes I don't understand people from the other side.
I have S7 edge unlocked with O2 SIM in it and it has been fine so far. Only issue is with one friend who has a Sony Z5 but his phone was damaged and repaired and has been bad ever since.

I have had my HD2 since NOV now and I have had nothing but trouble from it. It has been to get repaired 4 times now and it still doesn't work. It has also once been exchanged. The customer service From HTC is been worse than that of a 3rd world country. The Head o Eu escalation a guy called mike is a compulsive liar ( never returns my calls), all the staff that man the phones in the call center and dreadful. i would prefer if the call centers were based in INDIA ( they wouldnt be so rude!!!). I feel i have no other option left now but to issue small claim proceedings against MIKE at HTC to get my problems resolved. Im a great fan of WM but the HD2 is just inherently faulty by design.
Problems i have had thus far:
touch screen got a mind of its own responds when it feels like ( some times half of its doesn't work top half)
when i try to unlock the device the screen goes black and returns back to lock screen
prox sensor works when it feels like
phones slows down so much no point in using it
have to remove the battery at least 3 times a day to reset it.
iv tired all the roms available none are 100%
sms don't send
PS if anyone would like to join me in a class action contact me.
Where are u? it would be interessting to know. coz im in europe too and im unhappy with my device aswell.
Im in England UK
Where did you get your phone from?
I'm in the UK. To be honest, i've never actually had a reason major enough to call HTC so I don't know how good/bad their services are. "Apparently" When you call, it seems that it is Indian people who answer, which suggests the cutomer service base is not in the UK
hey all
has anyone noticed there screen coming apart from the phone, or at least not being fixed down right??
Interested to know also if anyone has experienced the dust under screen ussie that plagued the Desire? Note this will only be visible under bright light.

There is a thread for little questions. But ok: screens are not supposed to get apart from the phone. It's faulty. Send it back for a new one.
If your in the UK , you can get PAYG direct from manufacturers or also from Carphone Warehouse, current price 399.99 £
Mobile operators are doing them but... are simlocked and more expensive then that
there is a post with this same issue that ive seen, i dont think this is a build issue, i think that all the desire HDs that have been made may suffer from this (although this may only be the first batch to be released.)
The phone is fine, it doesnt stick out greatly, and i have a case, if however it gets worse, there is a warranty for a reason and as far as i know this is a manufacturers issue, so we can send it back for a full repair at a later date if it gets worse.

carphonewarehouse currently have no payg deals due to the shortage. the only option is to buy the phone for £498. It also sounds like you had one from the first batch. I was in carphonewarehouse yesterday - they had stock, but they confirmed that it had been in there system since 18th October, but only recently delivered to the store. The phone showed the classic signs - gap between sim cover, camera lens below centre and a gap at the top of the screen.
All of these items have been discussed i other threads. My advice - get a replacement.
Yes, mine has in the top right corner, waiting for the store I got my phone from to get some stock in and mine is being replaced.
It's as if the bonding has failed, it creaks in that corner!
Hi, I got my phone from o2 and the first phone I got had the buzzing earpiece problem.
I took it to the shop and they replaced it with a new one right there.
Couple weeks later I started noticing the annoying buzzing again, so I took it back and said they can't replace it but have to send it in for repair.
The verdict came back that there was no fault, when there clearly is cause making phone calls is nearly unbearable in quiet environments.
Now I want to know if I can go straight to LG to get an RMA even though I bought it from o2? What's the best way to get my phone fixed!!!
Many thanks :good:
(Can someone edit the title of my post so it has [UK] in the title?)
Anyone got any idea?
If o2 won't replace your phone then you will need to contact lg and send your phone in for repair. I would like to say that I have gone through three nexus 4's and each one had the ear piece buzzing all replaced for other reasons (yellow hue), so it is likely that your next device will be the same or worse.
Sent from my Nexus 4
So even if I bought it from o2 I can still go to LG? Will that service cost me? It's within warranty still.
I sent my Z2 for repairs, as the camera lens was getting ugly only a few months after purchase.
It was sent Saturday and already came back the next Saturday (yesterday)
I got a new back case and even a new screen (I hadn't noticed anything wrong with the old screen)
That is great after sales, my compliments!
Got the same experience with Sony but then with my Playstation Portable in the times I used to own one. I got a new one in less than 3 days.
Had a really bad experience with the Sony after sales care. Sent a Z1 compact (I know it isn't the Z2 but go with me) what had gaps starting to appear between the side and back. Got the phone back, the repair notice had said the device had the case (which I phoned Sony up about, apparently that's the middle housing) replaced. I knew 100% that it hadn't been as there was a tiny scuff what was there when I sent it in. I have now got to send the device in again to get the middle housing replaced as the gaps are still there too.
I had a great and bad xperiance
My Xperia S was suffering random reboots and they sent it back to me after saying its not in warrenty AFTER I SAID REPAIR and not warrenty cause
(i missed some details here)
Good was that they sent me a new Z2 after my insurance did a terrible job repairing mine because my insurance wasnt planning on fixing their poor job nor replacing my phone.
Hey guys im new here and i wanted to share my experience with all of you about repair centre(in Germany)
so my z3 has a factory defect (yellowish scrren on the underside of the display , where the navigation buttons are)
and a dent near the earphone jack because i dropped the phone on the earphone jack while exercising (my fault)
After describing my defects on the report i signed and send the repair order on the 3 of august (online) , but send my phone in on the 10. of august. i send the phone and the charger with a box sony send to me.
at first no sign beside (Device received) (11.08)on the Mysupport page
and no email notification about my repair status at all (you need to work on this sony)
but then Saturday (14.08) i got an email that states my device is on its way back to me
I was't home that day so i just received my device today (DHL's fault , sony already send the device on Friday)
after checking the display , it got fixed under warranty they also check the charger ,and to my surprise the dent on the aerphone jack also gone (they also replace the Alunimium frame), and the earphone jack feels new. They even gave me a new back and front screen protector.
i am hoping the repair status would be more informative.
but hey ,I am now a happy customer ,and prepared to sing a praise for your wonderful service, thank you very much sony
phone bootloader is locked , and i flashed kitkat firmware before sending it in (unroot)
It looks like You're just lucky or you got a good service centre in your country's xperia care is the good one. Because in some countries, their service centre is a joke.
I ordered my xperia l's back cover there and didn't get it until now (from 3 weeks ago) but they promised it will not take long times

Indeed - well, in the UK it is a company called SBE Ltd.
I've had a similar experience to you recently. My phone got very hot just sitting on the side discolouring the screen on one side and unsticking the screen ruining the waterproofing. I sent mine in and heard nothing for about 6 working days then suddenly got an email saying my repair had been delayed and the next day another email saying it was on its way to me. They seem to have replaced my screen and the magnetic charging port at the very least :good:
