[Rom] MIUI 7

Hey all,
Dunno if you saw but MIUI just released MIUI 7 for the G3.
I didnt see any threads for this yet, so i thought i would post one.

Can anybody confirm if this works on ls990.... I was a huge MIUI fan with the droid incredible

On which Version of LG will it work ? And can i flash it normally like every other aosp Rom ?.

The MIUI site says its for single sim only, so i guess this will cover them all, and yeah flash like normal

But the download Name of the file says f400 !. I am not sure it it will work did you already flashed it ?

Just flashed and is running smoothly, ill give it the weekend to settle and post back on monday

not a good deal ..

com.android.phone errors upon every reboot. Doesn't matter if you flush cache / dalvik... same problem everytime.
Even deleting data and reinstalling everything from backup. Upon reboot, com.android.phone errors.
This means no telephony network. Big problem
D855 version if you're interested. I came from 5.8.26 version without any problems.

Can I flash over 20p modem or I should first flash KK modem?

Kitkat is only supported yet for other devices because of MIUI needs to update their build tool aka patch Rom and the build was most likely based on KK while built.

Not true Miui 7. Miui 7 is lollipop. Guess it's just Miui 6 with Miui 7 UI?

miui is a ui that doesn't care much about android version, for example miui 4 was running on ICS or JB

Which custom rom should i pick for my oneplus2

Hello Guys,
I am using One Plus 2 for a while now and I am very happy with it.
My only problem is the runtime of my Battery also if I am only using less Apps and dont play any Games.
At the moment ive installed the Official CM 13 Rom.
Now I wanted to know whats the best custom Rom for me?
I am not a Android Gamer anymore.
The only thing I use are Social Media Stuff and Messengers like WhatsApp & Telegram.
My most used Apps are:
Youtube
Fenix (Twitter)
MyAnimeList
Streaming Apps
Notice Apps
Mail
Snapchat
Spotify & Soundcloud
Games aren't necessary for me cause I use my 3DS instead.
What do you think guys?
Would be nice to know some opinions.

Thanks Ive also tested CM14 and got compatibility problems.
Now I am back on CM13 but maybe there is something better.

What type of features you like???
Recently I tried OrionOS it has a nice blurred background when you pull the notification it's very similar in features as tipsy.

For battery is pretty good the stock OOS. But if you want cROM then try Skydragon which is pretty good for battery or OrionOS or RessRemix

I have tried quite a few roms. I find that official cm13 or stock OOS works the best.

Try official ressurction remix from RajGopi or Exodus.

When can we expect a stable bugfree ROM based on M/N?

I recently purchased the Redmi 4 prime aka Redmi 4x, now that the kernel sources are released, when can we expect a bugfree build based on Android N?

the bug free build will be ready when you build it. don't ask for eta's.
secon redmi 4 prime is not redmi 4x

First of all, Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime is Snapdragon 625 & Xiaomi Redmi 4x is Snapdragon 435, so you shouldn't be calling it "aka".
Official Nougat ROM from MIUI or LOS 14.1 hasn't even come out yet(to sum up, Marshmallow ROM still have some bugs) so we can't expect "when" will someone release a what you call "bugfree build". But we are thankful that there's one developer who is working on it.

Bugfree? Never. The released sources are somewhat broken: apparently assisted GPS will never work. Hardware GPS is working though.

For me, MIUI China Stable 8.2.1.0 is almost bugfree

Never say never We are waiting for MUIU on 7.0N, so when that happens I believe many of the problems can be fixed and we can continue going on LoS14 and forward.

I could go on for a very long time about MIUI bugs. I'm going to list only a few of them that bother me daily: the extended notification actions icons are not the right color (white on light gray background, instead of black), battery is worse than 8.1.2.0, the governor sometimes turns two cores off for no apparent reason, and compatibility with some apps is not perfect. Hell, this phone has firmware level bugs that will never be solved.

Assuming Xiaomi actually releases 7's sources.

If you look at current progress in development section it's looking like we should have a good one by the end of June if everything stays on track.

We'll get miui 9 but maybe based on android 6, not 7.Just like now we have miui 8 based on android 7, 6 and i think 5 depending on device.It doesn't indicate the android version, just the UI version.

Yes

Sadly Oxygen OS is OnePlus's proprietary software, optimised for there devices. I wouldn't know why you would want it in GSI form for other devices as you can get GSI roms that are close to AOSP and some with dark mode theming features.

Hmmmm, I'm actually very interested in this request. This seems like a really unique idea. I know @CosmicDan is working on a MIUI port, so hopefully we get some support for this too.

Miui is open source since 2012 and Oxygen os also is an open source android os since 2016.

This is just the kernel source that they are legally required to release. A simple Google search will reveal that.

I got It! The only thing you need to do is go to settings --> region --> select Croatia and now check updates, lucky!

Type "Telegram MIUI 11" into Google - Et voila! Links appear, like magic!

Lol my friend with RN7P who got Miui 11 Update yesterday didn't update it and now when I checked, the update is gone. It's not showing in the updater...

At least have you tried to install it? Cause it's another rom for beta tester, and if u aren't, u can't install it.

For beta users? Dont know.
Im no beta tester, installed and worked.. But still Android 9.

Yeah i read that crap everywhere on android news sites. Only a handful Xiaomi devices get Android 10 with MIUI 11. Not the Redmi Note 7 unfortunately.
Everyone seems to assume MIUI 11 is Android 10. It isn't.

Did the update fix the terrible sound quality when recording videos?

Even if you get the update, DO NOT DOWNLOAD it. It's still beta and lags so much. Stay on 10.
