Yes
Sadly Oxygen OS is OnePlus's proprietary software, optimised for there devices. I wouldn't know why you would want it in GSI form for other devices as you can get GSI roms that are close to AOSP and some with dark mode theming features.

Hmmmm, I'm actually very interested in this request. This seems like a really unique idea. I know @CosmicDan is working on a MIUI port, so hopefully we get some support for this too.
This will never happen as OxygenOS is closed source. If you want the navigation gestures check out this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ivianuu.oneplusgestures

This is just the kernel source that they are legally required to release. A simple Google search will reveal that.

Because OnePlus has not supplied the drivers and source to utilize them. They promised they would with the marshmallow oos build so you can expect working cm roms shortly after that
Probably because the source code is to ugly to release for the Lollipop source tree ? best way to hide poor coding, don't show it to anyone ?

So no chance for 12.1 version of CyanogenOS , till oneplus developers finish OOS 3.0 it's march or april :silly: , if they only would give out source codes for FP and LAF , to make unofficial versions , but no..
Sadly I just get back to OOS from an unofficial cyanogenmod
A lot of bugs with phone calls.

CyanogenOS came along with OnePlus One. Cyanogen Inc. and OnePlus had issues. So, they don't qante to make CyanogenOS for the OnePlus Two. We'll have CyanogenMod OS fot the OnePlus Two. The official version of CyanogenMod for OnePlus Two will be released when OnePlus releases OxygenOS based on Marshmallow. We can expect working fingerprint sensor then. But we're not sure about the Laser AutoFocus.

You probably won't find many or even any builds of RR past today's one. TheStrix has shifted to working on Android Nougat. RR is pretty stable mind you - if you look hard you might find the odd glitch or a crash that's hard to reproduce. Rare though. Likely the same sort of experience from the official CM builds, just without the RR features patched in. They're both maintained by him.
A good option for long-term support would be the xiaomi.eu MIUI builds... basically stock kenzo software without the superfluous MIUI stock apps baked in. It gets weekly patches.
Wish I'd tried more AOSP ROMs, there's likely some perfect vanilla android builds on here.
Nexus Experience Rom best Aosp Rom, stable, fast and batteryfriendly

what would the advantages be over LOS?
LOS would be the only option but loaded ROMs with features are quite useful like RR

Both dark ROM and AICP are Lineage OS based. And I'm pretty sure Pure Fusion too, but not that sure. Those roms simply take LOS and add stuff. So it has 'even more crap' than LOS in any case.

Well actually PureFusion is based off AOSP but still has some, but not all, LOS stuff added.

Yeah, corrected myself as soon as i realized that. Still his comment makes little sense. I've tried half of the custom ROMs available and they were far more sluggish after some usage that LOS ever is, even with custom kernels

I like it simple and stock. Most of the added stuff i don't use anyway. So a lean build of vanilla AOSP would be great.
I know some coding, mostly from microcontrollers and some java, so I am asking myself how hard it would be to build from aosp source.

Which added features does LOS have? Capacitive keys remappable? Ability to change the status bar stuff? Just ignore them, it's not like AICP where you can change the volume dialog outlines xd

Just saying, if you want it simple and lagless, use LineageOS+BeastMode Kernel. That's as simple as it gets and has almost zero lag everywhere. Battery is just okay, around 4-5h SOT. Don't know about PureFusion but I'd say it comes with features.

Hi Brunorochaa00. I want to thank you for this rom. It's very stable and smooth. Looks like PE but with some tweaks. For me, with gravity box it's perfect!!
Just a bug: USB debugging turn of every time after reboot??
