Hi,
coming from an S5, is there anyway to get the smart alarms on the S7?
Same here, smart alarm feature is cool, but cannot find on S7.
I believe Samsung got rid of it, when I got the S6 last year coming from a Note 4 I had the same problem.
What is smart alarm?

Just got my S5, came from a Droid Charge (which, after getting community radios from XDA I loved quite a bit for years) and am having some issues with the alarm clock. Thankfully I still set my alarm on my Charge as a backup or I would have been late for work this morning. The issues are as follows:
1. Smart alarm just doesn't seem to work? I have the exact same settings on my S5 as I do on my Charge (albeit with different tones) - Alarm Type: Sound, Alarm Tone: Serene Morning, Snooze: Off, Smart Alarm: On (3 minutes, Beginning of Life). Yet when I set my alarm it goes off exactly at the time it was set for (unlike on my Charge where the smart alarm would start 3 minutes earlier and crescendo) and just plays the alarm tone.
2. The alarm just turns off at 1 minute and never rings again? I guess this is working as intended as my gf says it works this way on her S3 as well, but really? what a terrible design for an alarm?
Think I'm going to find a third party app unless anyone else has a suggestion?

Enable "Sleep" on your alarm and you must choose "Zz" instead of "X" when your alarm rings.
I´ve tested here and it´s working well, with no issues.
Hi guys my smart alert and direct call functions are no longer working. The only one I'm looking for is smart alert as its handy. It definitely did work but now it seems to have died. I see a number of other people also had this issue but i haven't seen any fix yet. The only thing i did do since it worked was rooting but i doubt that has had any impact.
Thanks
Hello together,
I have my Watch 2 relative new and am not yet familiar with all features.
Can I mute the alarm on the clock and make sure that only my Pixel2 rings in the morning and not both devices at the same time?
Thank you in advance,
Guy
Not sure if this is what you want, but on my Huawei Watch 1 I couldn't get my watch ringer to mute when my phone was muted, so I permanently turned the watch ringer down to 0 (off). If you never want to hear the alarm on your watch, you should be able to do the same.
Thanks for that realy easy tip.
Works perfect for me!
I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to have the Gear S3's find my phone override the sound mode on my phone so not matter what when I ring it will ring my phone
I am on android pie incase there is anything special you can do with notifications on it

Hmmmm my gear s2 does this. Even on silent it rings and vibrates at Max. I did have a issue for a few days where it didn't but I never figured out what fixxed it
I recently switched to the LG V20 (T-Mobile) after years of using Galaxy S4/S5.
On the Galaxy phones, I could specify a ringtone file, and it would repeat that sound until I answered the phone.
On the V20, this is not happening; it plays the ringtone *once*, then just stops... meaning that I rarely actually realize that the phone rang!!
Is there some way to change this behavior? I've done a little searching around, but not turned up any solutions yet...
