Has anyone tested the battery life during video playback?
I am planning to watch some videos on it during my long flight -about 12 hours- and wondering if the video playback will be 10 hours as stated by SE or will it be tad more since all the radio functions will be turned off, or less.
Thanks.
I think in Flightmode and with Displaylight turned down you might get close to it. Mine takes about 10 % battery for 45 min video (downsized divx to 320x240) with radio on (3G, automatic) and backlight automatic, so about 400 min from 100-10% battery (~6,5 h). So with Flightmode and display backlight adjustments it might be possible.

I had almost the same. But for me it was 10/13% for about 60-70min video.

Could also be, was just a rough guessing, I'm mainly watching TV-Episodes on the PPC. And the X1 just shows 10% differences in battery power, so it would be the same I guess. By the way, this is fantastic, my old PPCs didn't even get close to the power and battery life.

not sure if 10 hrs will be doable but I tested playing 1 hr of live TV streaming that make use of both 3G and video processing, and the battery dropped from 50% to 30% (iirc)
Im just wondering if we can do a "Battery meter" or measure several users so we can know if our battery its calibrated or in good conditions. we just need after factory reset or maybe freezing almost all apps
so how?
we can try use streaming a video max bright for lets say 5 or 10 minutes? and show how much drop, to get a measurement we can use circle battery widget to show 1% by 1% in this way we can get data if we have a "rogue" app or battery drain for some app
we can start from 100 or 99% and then stream the video and see how much drop? i will try asap when i get at home and i will do factory reset so anyone interesting on this?
It's happened a few nights in a row. You see you screen shot it shoots up to 77% and then stops. Anyone know what this is about
i recently started tinkering with time lapse videos. on my OP5 i feel like the time lapse is too long ~1.5 hour of real time turns into a ~15 minute video.......where my ios friends have far shorter videos. is there a mod or setting that im not aware of to change this?
Anyone else having this issue? My phone gets heat up, stops charging and gives this message.
"Maximum charging limit has been reached at high temperatures!"
It's only 20c temperature here in Melbourne (but clear sky and sunny). I thought Nokia would fix this issue in 7.1.2 but its still there.
I get this message even with normal usage like, Waze and Spotify running and nothing else.
