No, it won't unless you choose to erase /data.

For root, here's what I did (not a ready-made solution, but hope the instructions are good enough):
I followed the same logic as @[NUT] when he shared his flashable zip with the Journalists rom, but with the ext4 partition image instead of a tar with its files.
- extracted the system image from the tft (which is actually a zip)
- with flashtool extracted the 2Gb .ext4 partition file, which is a direct image of what should be written to the partition (and flashtool does it when flashing)
- compressed it with gzip and transferred to the phone's sdcard
- entered recovery and opened an ADB shell (I was coming from a 4.2 rooted ROM, of course)
- unmount /system
- overwrote the entire /system partition with the new one, using "gzip -cd system.ext4.gz | dd of=..." to the sytem mtd entry
- sync to flush
- remount /system; the new contents showed up
- flashed SuperSU, XZDualRecovery, and perhaps a few other manual changes I needed
- shut down
- enter flashmode and flash the trimmed ftf with only the rest of the 4.3 things (kernel, radio, etc but NOT system)

Is anyone else having a problem with the GPS and the top portion. GPS just keeps flashing and won't let me swipe down to open the quick options screen.
Its really annoying, any response to this question would be greatly appreciated.

3. Ir em "Configurar - Sobre o telefone - Atualizações do sistema". (Go to Config - About - System Updates)

I dont know if is needed to rename.
I dont have installed manually.
I reinstalled 4.4 and checked by updates to download (again) and install automatically.

When you install a stock rom over odin you are not rooting or installing something custom. You are not tripping knox even, the device status stays official.

For real? I didn't know that ? In that case, I'll wait two more months, and if I don't receive the update, I'll flash the rom.

Download drivers for phone
Download firmware
Download ODIN
Run as administrator
Boot phone in download mode
(Hold power bttn, volume down, home key)
Then press volume up for yes
Connect to PC
On PC press AP in ODIN and the little checkbox
Select the file you downloaded (firmware)
Press start
Don't plug out the phone by no means once it starts that'll get you into errors etc. which if you're not that experienced will probably get on your nerves, a lot
Wait till done
Reboot
Enjoy
Optionally
Flash twrp and supersu for root

Ja imam J5 2016 J510FN dual sim i nisam dobio update. Kolega ima single sim i dobio je update. Isti nam je provider i telefoni su zakljucani, BL i network

Ako vam je isti baseband-version onda nije moguce da je on dobio a ti nisi, koliko god da je dual sim. Ako je kod tebe baseband nekog drugog regiona, doci ce ti taj update

Ja imam single sim i dual sim uredjaje, oba kupljena u Bosni u bhtelecomu, imam istu baseband verziju na oba. Ako je uredjaj od istog provajdera mora im biti ista baseband verzija. Ne zavisi ona od broja sim kartica vec od drzave. Dual i single sim se samo razlikuju po tome

Također imam J510FN Dual Sim iz BH Telecoma, i još uvijek Nougat update nije izašao, pratim svakodnevno, tako da koristim poljski ROM dok BH Telecom ne izbaci svoj update.

My friend owns this phone and he forgot pattern to unlock and didn't want to loose data... Didn't try to root, but touch works and partition are mounted correctly, it must work, just flash supersu

TWRP ? isnt TWRP for Tesla 3.2Lite is same as TWRP for ULePhone U007 Pro??? If it is, cuz it is same phone(same hardware and design), TWRP must be around 18.5MB and named: MDSTWRP 3.1.0.1.
So, what is what?
Firmware should be the same as UlePhone firmware for U007Pro...
And, i couldnt find firmware for TESLA, just for uLePhone U007Pro....

I just downloaded stock firmware and made recovery from it. It works 100%. Don't know anything else about this phone.
