Will flashing this overwrite my TWRP recovery with the stock recovery? And is it guaranteed to work on Canadian carriers?

Hey!
I have the same model. I had locked bootloader and stock rom till this morning. I finally converted my phone to xt1097 and now am running android 6.0 without any problems. i had to use a lot of different guides. So i am compiling all the steps that i did for simplicity. I will post it here within the next 6 hrs.

Já tentei o mobile Q mas ainda não detectou nenhuma actualização... Talvez ainda estejam a actualizar o S e só depois actualizem o Y...

[BRICK] Downgrading to MM

I have VNS-L31 with android Nougat from BadWolf, and while trying to go back to MM my phone bricked... What can I do? I only have the options to enter fastboot, and erecovery. I CAN'T enter TWRP.
My phone was rooted (obiously), with TWRP Nougat, MIUI 5.0, and I don't know what more details do I have to give you... PLEASE HELP ME

Hola BadWolf, te hablo en español y sera mucho mas facil, no tengo acceso al recovery y no puedo flashear .APP por fastboot porque me da un error de comando y en eRecovery no solo tengo Reboot Instalar por wifi (que no funciona) y Apagar...

las normas no permiten hablar en español, lo siento xD
Unlock with fastboot the bootloader (with your old unlock code) there are relocked after dload
ps; with wifi in eRecovery for me never works XD

I cannot enter to the recovery and flash it neither, I can enter fastboot and it says everything is unlockes (two options in red), but when I flash system.img, recovery.img, etc, etc, it gives me an error with the command in cmd. If it says everything is unlocked, I guess bootloader is unlocked right? I don't know what more can I do... I have to try that steps you said in another answer, tonight I will try and say something.

I have managed to do all the steps one by one (2h 15mins for the f*****g bootloader code xD) but right now I'm updating with the 3 buttons system, I hope this works, let me check and say something

Had same problem with firmwares from that site because they are not latest, then downlaoded from : updato.com and flashed it without issues.

For all of you who get a similar error while downgrading:
1. download your firmware
2. download 7-Zip
3. download Odin
4. download tar tool
5. READ the guide to the tar tool
6. create the tar.md5 for boot.img, system.img and modem.bin ONE at a time and always cut the created files into a second folder. (I dont know if you need the .back files but just to be shure put them in, too
7. put your phone into download mode
8. start Odin (make shure phone is connected)
9. navigate to the boot.tar.md5 for "BL", the system.tar.md5 for "AP" and modem.tar.md5 for "CP"
10. press "Start" => DONE
This works for me and might not work for you.
I do not take responsibility for any damage YOU did to your phone.
Feel free to ask questions.

O seu bootloard está desbloqueado? Se sim execute 1 arquivo modo fastboot.bat ao entra no modo fastboot execute o 2 arquivo instalador.bat no final da instalação vai aparecer a opção de formata o aparelho escolha a opção 2 NÃO

Yes, just don't touch and do not close until it finishes, it will take a while.
When it ask for an option 1 or 2, pres 2, and that will preserve your data, there will be no reset, like a real OTA update on your phone.

2 times try to flash. But it stuck at boot for 1 hour. I guess already bootloop.
3 times trying nothing happen. Also auto restart. Hurmm

Do you have unlocked critical as well ?
Did you wait for it to finish the first time, about 30min of flashing... ?!
It worked for me in first try.

Already unlock bootloader and i wait until it finish. Until choose 2 at the end of flashing.

Command is
fastboot flashing unlock_critical
Some users said that is the reason why for some flashing of PIE worked, and for some don't.
Try it, but I should worn you, that when you unlock critical, it will delete the phone all over again, just like when you unlocked OEM for the first time.
