Oops my bad. Was requested by people to get a system dump for the new marshmallow ftf's. Let me check on that. Will upload the correct one's soon. Thread Locked whilst that is done
The updated 32.1.A.1.163 firmware dumps are now uploading
I've downloaded by xperiFirm Austria E5823_32.1.A.1.163_R5C (Android 6.0) and repacked it for Flashtool. Already testing. All is working. You can download from here https://mega.nz/#!2AsWhTSD!ueRO9mCe_NxSxcFHa0FulWLz-9704NvUjQx5YsDl3y8 this firmware have operator stuff like phone loading screen graphic and some apps but apps can be easily removed. Everything is working here.

downloading thx
The firmware has been checked for file integrity so there shouldn't be a problem anymore. Feel free to download and also share your own system dumps/ftf's such that we have a consolidated thread here if possible
Sorry for the noob question, but does it need to unlock the bootloader if the Operator doesn't match?
For example, mine is Customized BE, but I want the marshmallow. Can I flash this one on this topic? Or should I wait?
Very good news! Which kernel can I flash with fastboot to have it rooted like Lollipop before? Or is it sufficient to flash custom recovery and from there flash supersu and keep the original kernel?

Can I flash trought recovery or with flashtool? Where i have to put the files?
Flashing as we speak, will update asap.
@yok3r, flashtool should work.
Edit: first time boot takes approximately 10-15 minutes, I've wiped everything.

Unlocked bootloader is only required for unofficial (tempered) ftfs.
Since this is an offical one, nothing needed

You should redo the process. This happened for me while flashing Z3 Compact previously. Nothing to worry about. Don't forget to hold volume down button while plugging in the USB cable.
Can anyone tell me if the Singapore-Generic uploaded by Furrydaus will work on all bands here in central europe (Germany ?) or should i use the austrian version? I can't wait till its rolled out for my country because I am from tomorrow on in holidays Thanks in advance!

I'm in the Netherlands, 4G+ is active so I can't imagine you having any issues.
You tried it dirty without wipe?
Would switch to another .200 for correctly OTA; but it seems it isnt available anymore for Customized SG

As I already mentioned a week or two ago, there's unlock key in TA Misc after BL unlock.
This file removes the key, therefore relocks the bootloader.
Flash with FlashTool.
You still can't get DRM back. It's gone from the phone!
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/g1b5j712ajx4yjd/Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf
Feel free to donate if this helped you
Update:
If you unlocked your phone with SEtool/Omnius - any testpoint unlock solution - YOU CAN NOT RELOCK BOOTLOADER! IT'S PATCHED SO IT APPEARS LOCKED TO SE, BUT ACCEPTS UNSIGNED IMAGES VIA FASTBOOT! SO STOP ASKING ABOUT IT, AND STOP TRYING.
Enjoy

Yes, this flash just removes the newly created key which appeared after unlock. Have you tried it? If you're going to, report the result.
Not flash :

try to boot recovery, fastboot boot recovery.img
or flash rooted system.img. if it fails, then bootloader is locked.
No joy here either
and if you get it to relock the BL.. try liking a track in media player.. see if it works.. (suspect it might not, cos the DRM is still missing but worth a try..)
Download once again. This should be the final fix
So this would mean that even those with unlocked bootloaders would be able to update their firmware using SEUS. Sweet!

Uppercase "R" means your boot loader is not unlocked hence you're not able to boot that ROM because you're missing the required FXP Kernel.
Do yourself a favor and flash back to Stock ROM with Flashtool and then select another custom ROM that actually WORKS and is feature complete - and not a lousy incomplete and rotten buggy mess like the CM7 FXP Shakira ROM.
Before trying your next flash maybe gather some intel - "know what you're doing"

+ Xperia Z (C6603)_STOCK_KERNEL 10.1.A.1.350_Russia.ftf - File for flashing Flashtool. This is a stock kernel and nothing more.
Good!
FTF firmware is different by every country?
Yes, a set of additional software. The essence of the firmware does not change.

Thanks a lot, i've unbranded my gorgeous Xperia Z
Flashtool - Can't enter Flashmode on Xperia Z
Hi, I'm having trouble when holding down the non-existent back button (I know it is a touch key and I try holding my finger in the position where the button is when the phone is turned on) and plugging in the USB cable...
Nothing happens Flashtool is giving me the pop-up windows that has the instructions to hold the back button and plug in the USB cable...
All works fine with my Arc S while holding the physical Back button and plugging in the USB cable...
Only way I get my PC and my laptop to recognize some kind of USB connection with the phone is while holding the Volume UP button and plugging in the USB cable - I get into FASTBOOT mode (Blue LED is on)
And if I hold Volume DOWN and connect the USB cable I also get connection but then I'm asked for QHSUSB_DLOAD device driver...
This could be the right combination for Flashmode (CAN'T BE SURE THOUGH) but the modded Flashtool for Xperia Z and the Driver folder (and the exe itself) don't provide the driver for the infamous QHSUSB_DLOAD (googled and found the QHSUSB_Drivers_(x64).rar Size(141.631 bytes))
After installation I get successful installation of COM port device called the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM10)
But that also does not get me into Flashmode for successful FTF flash on my new Xperia Z device
Please help...
Waat is the key combination for Flashtool Flashmode and could someone link the correct driver if I got the key combination right but have the incorrect driver
Thanks in advance

when i install Xperia Z drivers (provided in the c:\Flashtool\drivers folder) and start the phone with volume DOWN + USB cable plugged in my x64 Win 7 Ultimate or Enterpise i dont find the drivers needed in the provided drivers/flashtool-drivers.exe package...
then i find the drivers using Google skils and it doesnt work

First I found drivers with the correct VID&PID but those were for HTC HBOOT and my problem began...
... the correct ones are the GordonGate drivers v3.0.0 obtained from https://github.com/Androxyde/Flashtool/tree/master/drivers/GordonGate
good luck all :good:

I'm not sure anymore but i think GordonGate drivers are the correct ones but ones on Androxyde github do not contain the necessary VID_05C6&PID_9008
Could plz someone upload the driverz needed so that Flashtool can recognize my Xperia Z in flashmode
1. I do get the green light when holding the VOLUME DOWN + USB CABLE PLUG but...
2. my Win 7 x64 asks for drivers ---- Device Manager\QHSUSB_DLOAD with the info on Hardware ID tab VID_05C6&PID_9008
3. and no the drivers are not contained in the c:\Flashtool\drivers\Flashtool-drivers.exe - installed all of them, tried by clicking on every "Install anyway..." warning
4. Even installed the Flashtool-drivers.exe again with the Compatibility options of the EXE set to "Windows Vista" and "Run as an Administrator" (that way i don't get the warnings for "Install driver anyway..."
5. when googled i found several info that connected that VID_05C6&PID_9008 to "Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM" drivers - tried to download some Arc/Arc S GordonGate drivers from russian forum but the link is dead / unresponsive
this is the Copy/paste from russian forum
necessary VID and PID are contained in a file called Zeus.inf
and the preview of the Zeus.inf does contain necessary VID and PID

[GUIDE] Download ANY firmware customization from Sony & create an FTF with Flashtool
Part A: changing your customization number to download a different firmware customization (optional)
Requirements:
Rooted Xperia tablet with locked bootloader:
Build Prop Editor
The customization number of the firmware you want to download (see list, only customizations for the same tablet model)
Start BuildProp Editor.
When a Superuser request pops up, tap 'Grant' or 'Allow'.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
At the first start, a backup of 'build.prop' will be created automatically, which can be restored in case of any problems.
Scroll down to 'ro.semc.version.cust' and tap it.
Change the value to the customization number of the firmware you want to download.
When asked to reboot, tap 'No'.
Tap 'ro.semc.version.cus_revision' and change the value to 'R1A'.
When asked to reboot, tap 'Yes'.
Part B: downloading firmware with Sony PC Companion
Requirements:
Sony PC Companion
Xperia tablet with locked bootloader
Delete this folder if it already exists:
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db
- Windows Vista/7/8: C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db
Start Sony PC Companion.
Case A: new software version available
Click 'Update'.
Click 'Accept'.
If you only want to download the firmware without updating, disconnect your tablet as soon as the "Downloading software..." screen appears.
If you disconnected your tablet, this window will appear, which you may close. Otherwise your tablet software will be updated.
Case B: no new software version available
Click 'Your Phone / Tablet is up to date'.
Click 'repair my phone / tablet'.
Click 'Next'.
Repairing your tablet will delete your personal data and settings. If you don't want this, see step 6. Click 'Continue'.
Tick the checkbox and click 'Next'.
If you only want to download the firmware without repairing, disconnect your tablet as soon as the "Downloading software..." screen appears.
If you disconnected your tablet, this window will appear, which you may close. Otherwise your tablet software will be repaired and your personal data will be lost.
Part C: creating an FTF file with Flashtool
Requirements:
Flashtool
Firmware files from Sony PC Companion or Sony Update Service (see part B).
Start Flashtool or Flashtool64 (for 64-bit Windows).
Click 'Tools' > 'SEUS Decrypt'.
Select the 'Source Folder' (copy-pasting this path will not work):
- Sony PC Companion (Windows XP): C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs
- Sony PC Companion (Windows Vista/7/8): C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs
- Sony Update Service (32-bit Windows): C:\Program Files\Sony Mobile\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_fs
- Sony Update Service (64-bit Windows): C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_fs
Move all 'Available files' to 'Files to convert' by selecting them and clicking the right arrow button.
Click 'Convert'.
Enter the following details:
- Device: your tablet model, e.g. 'SGP311', 'SGP312', 'SGP321', 'SGP341' or 'SGP351' for Xperia Tablet Z (see 'Settings' > 'About tablet' > 'Model number').
- Branding: can be found in the first columns of these tables by looking up the customization number, e.g. 'Customized US'.
- Version: the build number of the firmware, e.g. '10.1.1.A.1.307'.
Move all files from 'folder list' to 'Firmware content' except *.ta files (e.g. simlock.ta, preset1.ta, cust-reset.ta, ...) by selecting them and clicking the right arrow button.
Click 'Create'.
When you see 'Bundle creation finished', your FTF will be in 'C:\Flashtool\firmwares'. If your combination of device/branding/build is not yet available on xda-developers forum, please be so kind to share it (see part D).
To save about 2 GB of disk space, delete this folder:
- Sony PC Companion (Windows XP): C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs
- Sony PC Companion (Windows Vista/7/8): C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs
- Sony Update Service (32-bit Windows): C:\Program Files\Sony Mobile\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_fs
- Sony Update Service (64-bit Windows): C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_fs
Part D: sharing your FTF on xda-developers forum
Upload your FTF to a file host. I use Dev-Host for this purpose, but it only supports files up to 512 MB, so I use WinRAR to pack my FTF with the following options: 'Compression method' = 'store' (since FTF is already compressed), 'Split to volumes, size' = '512 MB'. Of course you can use a different file host and archiver if required. Please note that Google Drive, Dropbox and Box all have bandwidth quotas, so your shared files may be disabled if they are downloaded too much.
Create a new thread on xda-developers forum in 'Xperia ZL General' and include at least the following information:
- Device
- Build number
- Android version
- Customization version
- Region
- Branding
- Download links
Here is an example: [STOCK ROM][FTF] Xperia Z (C6603) 10.1.1.A.1.253 Generic BE (Unbranded/Belgium)
If this post was helpful, don't forget to click the 'Thanks' button.
Sorry to sound like a tool but why are .ta files excluded from the FTF? What exactly are they?
Excellent guide by the way
Do I need to worry?
Ok. So at the step
- "Move all files from 'folder list' to 'Firmware content' except *.ta files (e.g. simlock.ta, preset1.ta, cust-reset.ta, ...) by selecting them and clicking the right arrow button."
I forgot to do except *.ta files. So at the end I get FTF with *.ta files. And I flash it.

no. Flashtool ignores TA while flashing.
ANY or LAST?
I need sgp321 10.4.B.0.569 (CE1 or EU3), but the current is 10.5.1.A.0.283.
Is it really possible to download any firmware (as in the title of the thread), or only the last?

Also a much better method exists than the one explained in the OP - just go to Devices > Check Updates in Flashtool and follow the unintuitive process of double clicking and right clicking, and it can download firmwares direct from Sony

Hey All !
i just got a notification update for version 32.3.A.0.376 , yet i don't see it in https://xpericheck.com/device/E5823
anyone else got it ?
its time to finally update with the proper root method ?
UPDATE : used the newly V5.21 kernel repacker, all works like a charm (just waiting for xposed ;p ), much more flowing and faster than previous Android 6 !
just downloaded trough phone, waiting for the final restart after flash.
Xpericheck needs some time before it lists the update. It builts for the major firmwares ftf files.
I have installed .376 and also rooted it using the tool by Tobias Waldvogel: rootKernel 5.20
Unfortunately it seems that Sony did not fix the 3rd party low volume problem....
Any reports on the state of known issues would be well-appreciated!
Especially the low volume on incoming calls - that's a major bug. The corrupted sd card content as well. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, that was one of the two major bugs that the previous Nougat release suffered from. Encrypted SD cards were full of corrupted files after the update and incoming call volume was extremely low despite settings. These were reported by some people, but not everyone.
Hopefully, the re-release of 7.0 will actually be *almost* bug free, or at least free of any major/critical/showstopper bugs.
Is it also for devices which are already on 7?
I updated my Z5C to 372, and luckily didn't experience any major issues so far. Just checked and and there's no OTA for me yet.

Hey what will this allow me to do? Just flash from TWRP?
Anybody manage to root this yet?
I have a Telecom NZ Z5 Compact (E5823) and would like to transfer to the Customized AU firmware (mostly to get rid of the carrier boot animation). That's possible right?
Also, there anything I need to do before I flash the firmware? Perhaps backing up the TA partition stuff?
Just finished downloading 32.3.A.0.376 using Xperifirm.

Downloads are broken because oft this post.
I installed latest 376 customized AU via flashtool, in my case the volume issue has been solved (with the apps I use)
Hmm, struggling with this a little bit. Currently running xpowerv5 with TWRP recovery installed.
Using Flashtool, grabs the latest firmware builds what it needs t, however when prompted to I turn the phone on and enter recovery and plug in. TWRP starts up fine. However flashtool is just sitting there waiting. I am guessing i need to figureout how to flash the stock recovery, right?
Audio issue seems fine, as well as the call log scrolling issue. However, I still seem to be getting the phone idle battery drain. Also, playing HD movies seems to lag on it. Anyone else getting lag when playing HD movies? (Specifically 1080p)
Would also like to include that the latest rootkernel 5.20 works well. Used superuser instead of SuperSU.
