Internal memory full n not booting up - Moto E General

Hi All, i transferred some files into my phone memory. Lollipop rom. I think now internal memory is full and it's not booting up.
Not even rebooting in recovery. is it some hardware issue or memory full so not booting up.
LED light does flashes sometimes when I hold power button. Guys any idea, please help out.
When I am putting phone for charging its led blinking continuously. Is it dead/brick.
Thanks in advance

Since you said its not even charging properly, I'll say it's not because of memory issues. Maybe something went wrong.
Anyway try getting into fastboot mode and then to recovery.
If recovery doesn't open then flash stock LP firmware through fastboot and then try booting.

Yeah agree not a memory issue.
While charging its only LED blinking. No battery sign. Googled and found that may be putting on charging will help. Dont know if this method will work or not.
I am not even able to go recovery while pressing both volume and power button. Its dead only. No screen showing up. how to go into fastboot mode.

Also the phone was 95% charged when this happened. If less than 10% battery I wouldn't have been worried.

Try this combination -
Press Power Button + Volume down (at the same time).
Keep them pressed for about 10 seconds.
Then first leave volume down and then Power button.
If something shows up then your phone can be fixed. It's the fastboot mode. Try this and post here I'll guide you further on.
If nothing shows up (no fastboot mode) then I guess you're hard bricked or at very least there's battery issue.

Its not going in fastboot mode. so yeah i found out its bricked. connecting USB cable it shows devices as QHSUSB_BULK.
It was resurrection remix Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.5.9-20151120-condor.zip
Now searching for unbricking it I haven't found any solution or files for condor yet.

The symptoms make it appear to be hard-bricked How come?
You were on a custom ROM, and transferred your files to the internal memory right?
After that, did the phone turn off with a warning or did you turn it off?

Yeah actually wanted to try CM13.1; Freed up some internal memory by uninstalling few apps. Puts ROMS and GAPPS in both internal and SD. I remember still it was few MBs free.
Powered it off and then wanted to take it in fastboot/reovery while pressing power-up and volume down. And since then its hard-bricked.
I think lost my precious device as no solution yet.
Found a solution but no files available for moto-e yet. If anyone have please let me know.

I don't think it is hard bricked though...
Do one thing.... Use the method to get to fastboot by holding power and vol down.... but this time, press BOTH VOL DOWN AND UP.
Give this a try for a long time (10-15 secs).... and remove ONLY POWER AND VOL UP!

Tried it. But just LED flashing for few moments and no fastboot. Even I am not able to believe it's hardbrick
But when I put on charging LED blinks sometimes randomly, in some minutes gaps. No battery sign while charging.
And connecting USB cable it shows devices as QHSUSB_BULK. So all these symptoms are like its hard-bricked.
Thanks for your suggestion. Please let me know if anything else I need to try

Have u tried holding the power button only for a long time?
Do this .... Plug into the charger, and hold the power on for a long time.... check the proximity sensor.... it will glow for a short time (.5 secs only) so observe carefully.
Try this

I am extremely sorry for ur situation bro

Well only transferring files to internal storage may not have caused this issue. It must be something else.
Maybe emmc got corrupted. In that case it's hopeless now. Take it to a service centre and see what do they say.

there was a thread about that issue, turn off your phone, unplug the usb cord, plug the usb cord. hold vol up and vol down and the power button. it will come on but when it goes off release the power button and keep holding down the vol up and vol down. should go into auto download mode. then u can reload it via odin.

this is normal just continue to download mode as normal.

you can save your device through odin, plug your phone in to your computer and try to go into download mode may take a couple tries, and flash the stock ROM you can find on these forums
i have already tried the sequence to get it into download mode... it doesnt work... tried adb and nothing registers....
anymore ideas? looks like im going to have to do a warranty exchange.
The only way I can reliably get to download mode is: power off, remove battery, replace battery, hold both vol buttons, plug in usb. works every time though.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

ok so that actually worked!!!! i pulled the battery ... pluged the usb cable in and while holding volume up and down buttons i forced the battery in.. and now its in download mode!!!!
now here is my next road block.. whenever i tried to use odin i cant get pass that file analysis part and nothing happens..
any ideas? i looked it a thread and it said to reboot my computer into safe mode and disable digital driver sig.. still not working..
ideas on how to get pass the file analysis part?

are you using a .pit file? and if so is it the right 512 .pit file?
if both those are yes, delete the one on your system and re-download it.
I had this same exact problem a few weeks back Odin would hang on the pit file, just redownloaded and it worked like a charm.
and just a quick reminder of everything out for the Vibrant right now
Only stock firmware use the 'PDA' option a pit file, and re-partition
froyo firmware use the 'PDA' option and a pit file, no re-partition
JACs kernels use the 'CSC' option and no pit file, no-repartition
i have a Bell Vibrant and all the methods don't work. i tried the 3 button (remove batt, place in batt, plug USB, wait for the the ''star" to appear, hold VOL+/- and POWER and wait for the screen to turn off, release POWER, but it just goes back to recharging screen. tried it 40 times
tried the power off, remove battery, replace battery, hold both vol buttons, plug in usb. no go as well.
ANything else? I'm stuck at the boot screen (the 'S' glowing part).
This is what always works for me.
Unplug your USB from your phone
Makes sure ODIN is ready to go on your PC
Hold down the Down Volume and Power until the download screen comes on
Then plug your USB back into the phone
fire up odin
pull your battery
connect phone to pc WITH THE BATTERY OUT
hold volume up+down and power
put battery in while still holding those buttons
the screen will light up with....something. Wait for the screen to blink and then release the buttons.
You are now in download mode!
i will try those methods. Thanks.
crap, still no. just keeps showing the battery charging. i remember rescuing my htc magic so many times, but no go on this guy.....
Odin all fired up when doing this......

Did you make sure that the USB was unplugged when you used my method of holding down the volume down button and power button together until the download screen came up?
If you are familiar with ADB. You can also power your phone on and then plug in the USB and then type in the command line:
adb reboot download
to get it to reboot into download mode.
You can also use this command from the recovery console if you are able to get to it.

Dude, the Vibrant is new to us all. None like it. So dev wise its harder to explain and understand when we are used to coming from a one press method, now were using Odin, and Thor's hammer to flash our phones, which is god awful, no pun intended.
Dont flame your fellow Vibrant user cause he doesent understand the 613 steps it involves, and every other way to do so. Help the kid.
I am also in this position, just using a finger in the socket method, if its on it'l shock me, know what i mean. Just try it all. I have a feeling its getting harder and harder to brick phones because the manufacture is not retarded, they fix them right back, and ship them back out to customers who need replacements. I know this as a friend works at an AT&T shipping warehouse.
So cant we all just hit a bong, or get a long? And help?
If someone could explain all this 512PIT, PDA, and CSC, and Phone. It would help so much, sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Just sayin.

Yeah man, i'll try it again!! And when do I start typing (sending out the adb command) when the power turns on? Thanks.
Question is: when i press power+vol Down, the boot splashscreen comes on (Galaxy S etc etc).....
I am sorry you have a Bell Vibrant, it is a little different than my phone. I found this hope this helps
HOWTO GET INTO DOWNLOAD-MODE:
- Turn off your Phone
- Hold VOLUME DOWN + HOME Buttons
- While holding VOLUME DOWN + HOME Buttons press POWER Button until you reach Download-Mode
- Release all Buttons
I also read that some of the Bell Vibrants had their Download/Recovery mode disabled.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=754673&highlight=bell
As far as the adb command I would start as soon as it powers on. It will say "error:device not found" at first, but just keep on hitting arrow up and hitting the enter in the command window until it accepts the command.
Good Luck

Most people can get download mode by holding down Volume Down and Home, then Pressing Power.
Download Mode and a Bright Yellow Triangle will display on the screen if you're successful.
If you have a Custom ROM installed (seems unlikely given your question) and therefore have Clockworkmod, you could try getting back into Clockwork Recovery by holding Volume Up and Home then pressing Power and keeping the Volume and Home buttons depressed. You can restore a backup from there, reflash the rom you're currently running, and best of all, you can mount your internal SD Card on a PC and recover any essential files.

Exacly the same story with factory reset.
1. un plug device from wall or pc
2 make sure phone is all the way off (hold down power and volume down) untill it stops booting
3. hold volume UP while plugging device into pc
4. follow these instructions to return to stock http://www.droidgreen.com/lg-g2-official-stock-android-firmware-rom/
5. allow usb debuging in dev options and install unknown sources in security
6. to root your device go to towelroot.com download apk and install
7. to flash custom recovery use freegee its found in playstore
my phone havent got download mode. I flash KDZ on blue dots downlad mode. After this my phone has bricked. Only black screen. After this i have flash on ubuntu partitions and twrp. Ewerything was ok but after restart my phone dont go to TWRP. Only LG. Now i cant do anything. I havent got download mode and after VOL- and POWER my recovery dont do anything. On monday i will send my phone to service.
IT WORKS!
Well.. problem has been solved almost it self. As I said before I was trying do hold volume UP and plug it to the computer. But phone was showing only the LG logo and that's all. Linux didn't see it either.
When every idea was used I tried to completly discharge it. When it turn off i tried to plug it in and check what happens but AGAIN I saw only LG splash screen and I left it in that way. I came back after maybe 10-15min and I found phone in Download Mode. Linux saw it and without any problem I installed fresh ROM.
Really I can't explain this but it's just happend. So my advice, try any possible solution and method.
Good Luck guys!

1. While unplugged, I entered the Factory Reset mode and left it as it is (didn't push any buttons) in order for the display to drain the battery;
2. When the battery was drained the phone went off;
3. After waiting for a few seconds I plugged it into the computer;

xt1611 bricked

hello and thanks in advance. I recently installed twrp on my device and somehow deleted entire os. while in twrp I was informed of this but as luck would have it experienced a power outage, phone died and now adb is not finding device. since deleting os is it possible to get comp to locate it? all I get is the blue led and if I try to volume down power to boot recovery ligts go out. I do get a chime saying something is connected to comp but I cannot locate it. any advice would be great.
Have you tried to follow instructions to reflash TWRP? Can you put the phone in bootloader/fastboot mode?

Maybe missing something here but if can get to TWRP, power off then on holding volume up, you can flash any rom. Not volume down on my phone to get to TWRP, is volume up.
Good catch on the volume up button.

No way if you don't have adb working. Again, if you hold volume up button while pressing power on button, then release power on button as soon as you see boot screen, do you get recovery screen?
No screen reaction at all. Only the led when connected by us to computer it seems to charge and led stays lit blue after fully charged and red when still charging. I was hoping maybe there was a shell comand that would maybe push data enough to get into recovery at least.

Mi A1 bricked and stuck in EDL black screen mode with white blinking led

Hi all!
First, english is not fluent for me, so excuse me for grammatical/temporal mistakes in my words.
It is now 12 days I am with my A1 phone bricked. It's bricked because I try to relock my phone with TWRP installed for making an OTA update.... I shouldn't, I know that now. My phone didn't wanted to boot, only on fastboot mode. But I couldn't flash anything because my bootloader seems to be locked now.
I disable the driver enforcement signature, installed the qualcomm drivers, open my phone and use the tespoints method. And my phone boot and this EDL mode 9008, and miflash tool saw it on COMxx and I was able to flash the fastboot july release. I was so happy! But, then, the phone now stay in black screen mode :crying: If I plug an USB cable for charge or on PC, the white led blink 3 times. I tried to push the power button during a few minutes, I tried to push power and volume up, power with volume down, power with volume up and down. I tried to reflash 3 times in miflash, everytimes it's a success flash, but I'm still stuck on that black screen mode. I don't know how to exit or if my phone is dead. I tried several USB port and cable too, that doesn't change anything.
Does anyone have any idea how i can exit this annoying black screen blinking white led mode? Or my phone is definitly dead? I searched but I didn't find a solution that works for my phone.

I already tried that during 3-4 minutes. How long do I need to push it?

About 10 s . Try to push volume down and power button together and keep untill restart to fastboot
If doesn't work it can mean that power button has broken when you was opening the phone .
Well, I don't think it's the power button broken because if I plug the phone for charging, the led blink. If I disconnected the phone from charge and push the power button for 10s or more, nothing happen. If I put the phone and charge, start to push the power button then unplug the charge cable with power button still pushing it blinks 3 times after unplugged, then nothing. It's a small difference, but still a little reaction so I don't think the power button is the problem, but I'm not sure of that

When you connect phone with pc check what recognize in device manager . You can be in qdlooader 9008 or in diagnostic e900 . Always check what is in device manager after connect phone with pc . You will be know in which state is your phone . I don't know if your phone is in edl mode .
try holding on the power button and volume UP (not down) buttons for 10 secs and it should restart, I got into the same problem as u and that is what fixed it for me
if that doesnt work here is a link to a post with a guy that has the same problem: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/help/black-screen-xiaomi-mi-a1-reboot-power-t3728497
If I connect the phone to the computer, it shows nothing. I have to bridge the tespoints to make it appears, and then it appears in Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader9008 (COM10). And then I can flash with miflash and miflash tells me that it's a success.
I have exactly the same problem. Looking for a solution for weeks now. Tried everything that is on the net but still black screen

Sorry to read that but I think our phones are dead honestly. I don't see what to try to make it rise from the shadows of this black screen At least, I learn how to go in EDL mode and never relock bootloader with custom recovery. It's an expensive lesson but...
Thanks to you guys for answering and helping me

Also try to flash to Nougat and the problem is not fixed, the vibration is more intermittent only. Thanks for the input.
