Hey guys, I am still waiting for my DHD to be shipped from Expansys... Although I know its more expensive than other places... I wonder are all of the websites distributing these DHD on the 11th October or some maybe earlier? Please speed up time SOMEONE!!! Waiting is a torture~
Why order from Expansys, Play.com and Amazon have it cheaper both for the 11th release date. Nobody really knows when they will be dispatched, usually just before release date.

Not everyone is from UK...
Play doesn't sell electronics overseas and from Amazon.co.uk, the price with the postage stays almost the same price from Expansys.
Also in Expansys it's a lot easier to take the VAT off the price...

Yea, that's the reason why I got it from Expansys... Damn, I hope HTC will release the goodies earlier... I wonder if it's tomorrow how would the community react to this??

I am truly exited about getting this phone. I got my Hero last August and it's never been out of my hand. I'm due an Upgrade next month so hopefully Orange will have released it by then. They always seem to be slower than the rest on release date. I really hope the phone is all that it should be. Hopefully HTC will send some out for review purposes this week to tide us over until release date.

I'm in the UK not sure which website is most reliable for guarantee delievery as advertised. The last thing I want to do is but a pre-order thru, get charged and delivery is not completed as advertised!
The only reason wanting to do this so that I can get it as soon as it is launched rather then wait for updgrade with t-mobile which is on the 18th Oct. Any suggestions and also do websites charge on dispatch or charge as soon as you pre-order?

I figured the biggest name will get stock so I pre-ordered my Desire-Z through Amazon.
You all bros and sis across the pond are lucky, at least you all have something to look forward to. Across the pond here in north america don't even get the chance to hold this babe ... feeling really down since the news DHD is only available across the pond

Bro, pond is only in a small area where you can still actually walk "around" it to get to the other side... U mean the sea? Haha... anyways u guys had Evo4G which across the other side of the sea, us, do not even have the chance to own... Well, eventually you guys will also have it...

ordered my dhd also. with vodafone dutch call/sms/web 200min/400sms and 3,6mbps 1GB bundle. 67 euros costs once. 25 euros each month.
shop tells me the phone comes 6-18 oct.

Well I'm in the South of Wales and I couldn't get to work this morning, the snow is terrible.
Look something interesting:
In America Nexus S sold $529,99 = about 400€.
In UK Nexus S sold £549.95 = about 645€.
Why so much deferrence in price???

It's not VAT, it's that everything in the UK is an utter shaft.
In this case the Nexus S worths only if European citizens have someone in US to buy it about 400€...
Ιn other case all those plastics and hardware doesn't worth 650€ only because Google will give direct support to Nexus S...

IMO 650 EUR is defenetly too much for Nexus S. Even factory unlocked iPhone 4 is cheaper in UK. Im from EU, but I will buy nexus s from US.
Just spoke to CPWH customer services and they say they have not received the shipment from the suppliers yet and can't give a exact date to when they will.. ask me to call back Monday.
Im gonna wait until prices for Germany are announced.
Due to the fact that getting NS from US would cost me in the end ~550€, i hope the price in germany wont be any higher - at least i expect that.
Paying 650€ in UK and get it imported here ends up around 700€.
iPhone 4 is only at 630€ at apple-store here...

Do you have any contact names there for anyone who knows what's going on?
I've spoken to customer services twice and neither even knew what the Nexus S is. I've raised a complaint and even then the response is a bit non-de-script.
I ordered mine on the 7th December and have heard nothing about delivery times etc. It's supposed to be 20th December in the UK but still CPW are clueless.
I ordered on the day it was announced. I spoke to CPW this afternoon and they told me that some stock has been released today but there was no guarantee I'd get one and there is more stock next week. Sounds like BS to me, I'll just have to wait and see.

They did this last night as well, it showed in stock in the evenings, and in the day out of stock, lol
My contact in CPW said sunday stock arrival, monday shipping and tuesday arrival, that is if your home isnt under 50ft of snow
And i can tell you this for free....
There have been NO deliverys of NS to CPW as of yet at all

Just talked to Martin at GSMnation. Mine wont ship until Friday. They have had 50-60 orders for this phone in two days. Apparently they've been shipping them out this week, Hopefully BagOfSnakes got his in a lot earlier than my order so he gets his by Friday.

I've been keeping a close eye on the internets and comparing online retailers. I posted the day they put the Arc up for sale. Unless they had tons of preorders we should be the first few. But I don't even think they had a North American Arc up for preorder at all. They already charged my CC too. That better mean they actually have the phone in their possession to be sent.
I contacted their live chat today and asked about the Silver color. They said that they plan on selling the silver color soon and he advised me to check back next week.
Just wanted to share this info in case people are interested in the silver like I am.

I spoke to the SE folks last month and they mentioned that they did not have a release date for the US. They mentioned that it was going on sale in Canada towards the end of April and that an unlocked version would be available in Canada towards the mid-end May timeframe.
Hopefully, the information I got was incorrect and you guys get your phone soon!

Well, their website says "In Stock - Ships within 24-48 hours". So hopefully you should get yours no later than Tuesday.
YEA i spoke to them this morning and he told me the phone was in stock. i asked him when is my order being ship he said 24/48(ordered mine last night) hours to process orders so looks like im getting it next week ... i also asked the guy for the SGS2 he said it was schedule to arrive this week or latest next one...

I went after my lectures, there wasn't that many people there so the odds were pretty good. I was in the 3rd batch....and I won!! unfortunately they weren't handing them out there, they took my address and hopefully it should arrive monday.
