Just talked to Martin at GSMnation. Mine wont ship until Friday. They have had 50-60 orders for this phone in two days. Apparently they've been shipping them out this week, Hopefully BagOfSnakes got his in a lot earlier than my order so he gets his by Friday.

I've been keeping a close eye on the internets and comparing online retailers. I posted the day they put the Arc up for sale. Unless they had tons of preorders we should be the first few. But I don't even think they had a North American Arc up for preorder at all. They already charged my CC too. That better mean they actually have the phone in their possession to be sent.
I contacted their live chat today and asked about the Silver color. They said that they plan on selling the silver color soon and he advised me to check back next week.
Just wanted to share this info in case people are interested in the silver like I am.

I spoke to the SE folks last month and they mentioned that they did not have a release date for the US. They mentioned that it was going on sale in Canada towards the end of April and that an unlocked version would be available in Canada towards the mid-end May timeframe.
Hopefully, the information I got was incorrect and you guys get your phone soon!

Well, their website says "In Stock - Ships within 24-48 hours". So hopefully you should get yours no later than Tuesday.
YEA i spoke to them this morning and he told me the phone was in stock. i asked him when is my order being ship he said 24/48(ordered mine last night) hours to process orders so looks like im getting it next week ... i also asked the guy for the SGS2 he said it was schedule to arrive this week or latest next one...

Here in Ohio no better, Went to best buy with my buddy, was quoted as Evo shippment tomorrow and now it's been moved to a nice lovely ambiguous "sometime from wednesday to friday" Here's hoping sooner rather than later but oh well. Decided to give in and pick one of these up yesterday. Couldnt find one in stock anywhere. This morning I was prepared to call every Radio Shack in the area. The 1st one I called said someone just took themselves off the list and that they had one available. I put my name on it, and picked it up 20 minutes later.
I have 2 friends that got theirs this same way. I did pre order one for my girlfriend though while I was there and she will be getting it on Friday.
I just got mine today and I had to call 8 or so sprint stores to find one in stock, ends up the store I got mine at had 10 in stock still from the first shipment and they had given a lot of their first order of 300 to other area stores. Once I got there it took them about 2 and a half hours to activate the flippin thing, my voice and 4g connected but my 3g never came up, took them forever to sort it out. They actually had to activate two evos to figure the problem out. I got 2 boxes and goodies out of the deal though, I am in the kc area too.
Which Sprint store was this? Im also in the KC area and have a few friends wondering if anyone has them in stock. Sounds like that store may be worth a shot.

I scooped mine up from the studio Sprint store, downtown in the power and light district, like 14th and grand, also I got a call from the Sprint store that I was on a waiting list at and they had one for me, i was number 15 I believe.

I was going to order it online last night and then dumb me second guessed myself and decided to see if i could get lucky in a store today. Now I realize that was a very stupid idea.
how are some of you getting overnight delivery; i placed my order around 12pm PST yesterday and i still haven't received a delivery notification or any updates; it still says waiting in the warehouse for processing; this is annoying me since it's supposed to be overnight delivery

I would be very very very very careful dealing with bestnydepot, I wouldn't trust them with my CC.
I called bestnydepot after wondering the exact same thing. I talked to the representative on the phone, and he stated that the price is accurate, but that they just happened to run out of stock earlier that day and would not have more coming in for another 2-3 weeks. Riiiight.
Needless to say, I ordered from L2D2 half an hour later. The price is still fantastic and I gain the peace of mind knowing that I'm dealing with a much more reputable company.

So far so good. I have not got my unit yet but I ordered it on Friday afternoon thinking it would not ship until Monday but later that day received a tracking number showing Tuesday. So from a processing time perspective I give them excellent service. I will let you know how it goes when the product arrives.

I gave L2D2 a call and they said any order made over the weekend has stock and they're shipping mine out today. If you call them, they can look it up by name and maybe even make you an account so you can check it yourself.
Thanks for the advice. I called them up just now and they told me it would be shipped out later this evening. If you chose UPS, the pick up time is usually around 5:30-6 PM EST.

Ah, that's good to hear; in our minds, nothing is quite as important right now as getting that phone in our hands . It looks like our shipments are going to be racing each other! Since I paid for two day air shipping, though, I'm fully expecting to have the phone on Wednesday, regardless of when it's getting picked up.

Seems like most people who getting it SIM Free are getting it from Handtec but Handtec have no cashback so works out £13 more.
Looks like Asda Direct delivery is hit or miss so even though it states delivery on release date (which is wrong info as its bank holiday and I called them and they said should be with you on the Saturday), I doubt I will get it before 2nd April.
Does Asda direct allow international purchases also?

Ordered mine last week - due to be delivered to me the end of next week (29th). The bundle is a nice touch and £499 all in very good. They only have silver, which suits me fine. And it's SIM free...

Got a text from them this morning that said by the 29th. ( I ordered it quite a while ago). As that is Good Friday I suspect the day before... anyway at least it's coming!

I called yesterday to ask and they asked the manager and he said no deliveries on good Friday so earliest will be 30th.
Yeah banner said 8 days to go yesterday which counts down to Good Friday.
Dont matter when you placed order, unless they dispatch it on 27th you wont get it before 30th.

I think it's quite weird since those are based on UK. I don't think HTC would be stocking US or Asian handsets on those stores right? Else that would just mess up their distribution structure.

Ás much as I want that good luck it's highly impossible. As you can see I am not from UK so having a non-UK phone on handtec would greatly benefit me as that would likely give me chances of having a compatible Asian LTE. But I already asked them about that before I made a purchase and as they said they'll be providing EU models only. They even posted on the description the LTE bands it will be supporting. So.... hopefully your words would create a miracle. lol
I sent them a email saying they are false advertising that we will get it delivered on good friday. Thats impossible so they are in fact lying to customers.
Will ask for good will reward or I will go instore to purchase one at Phones4U.

I ordered a s7 edge through verizon but I have an issue with the delivery date. They are saying they should hit the stores March 11, but I will be in Texas for my Sister in laws wedding from March 9th until the 12th. So the issue is should I keep my delivery for my home in Colorado or have it sent to Texas.
Do the preorders usually go out early? I would think it would only be fair if people who pre-ordered to get it before people can get it at the stores.
Well for T-Mobile USA they sent the S6 a week early for some users. Verizon tends to be on the dot maybe a day early in most cases.

I'm sure there will be a lot of cancellations if this is the case.
My AT&T preorder says shipping on the 7th to arrive on the 8th. Many sites are reporting preorders will be out 3 days early from the official launch on the 11th.
I just talked to 2 verizon reps and the first one said the phone should arrive on the 11th, and the other checked with her manager and said it would ship out on the eleventh and not arrive until the 14th. To me it makes no sense that the people who preordered will get there phone 2 days after the phone comes out in the store.
I am not throwing any fits because it is unfair, but this is a issue for me because I don't know where to have the phone shipped. And like my earlier post said, it seems that they are only giving out around 300,000 VR Gears, so if I am a couple days late getting it, I may lose my chance at getting the VR gear. ?

I pre-ordered from Best Buy so they will ship the VR with the phone. Also getting a free 64gb SD card.
My S6 edge was delivered on March 30th (T-Mobile), and (I think) the release date was somewhere around April 10th. So, don't be too surprised if you get a shipped confirmation email in the next week or so.
Also plan on getting mine through BestBuy. Seems like less of a hassle than waiting "4-6" weeks for the GearVR to come in.
That does sound nice, but I didn't really want to fork out 300 and be stuck in a contract. I might contact samsung and verizon and try to get some assurance that there will be enough to go around. Otherwise, I might cancel and hold out to see what the V10 sequel has in store.

That does sound nice, but I didn't really want to fork out 300 and be stuck in a contract. I might contact samsung and verizon and try to get some assurance that there will be enough to go around. Otherwise, I might cancel and hold out to see what the V10 sequel has in store.

That link actually proves that you need the IMEI and WiFi address.
First, they mention in the text on that page that you need to fill out the form and submit a receipt. That doesn't say what info is required for the form so it does not suffice as a counter-example, nor any evidence that the receipt is the only information you need.
Secondly, that page provides a link to the actual terms and clicking through you can see that the section on submitting the claim explicitly lists the IMEI number (3.b.iii) and the WiFi MAC address (3.b.iv) in addition to the receipt.
So, IMEI and WiFI MAC are certainly required to claim the Gear VR...
Left my local bestbuy last night and a couple blueshirts there told me that they would be releasing the S7 and S7 Edge this Monday. I was pre-ordering and asked when it came out and they told me I could pick it up on monday.
So if you preordered from bestbuy i'd recommend calling them and seeing if they are also releasing it early.
I don't know how truthful BestBuy is. I got my pre-ordered T-Mobile S7 on the 3rd of March and was told by my local BestBuy store that they had the Otterbox cases in stock for the S7. So I drive over to the store and find out that they have the cases in stock but won't be releasing them until the 11th of March because that's when the phones will be released. I will NOT be going back to BestBuy again!

I bought a surround sound system from them a month ago. He told me i was gonna get a discount and hed hook me up with an hdmi and optical cable. Then he was tryin to talk me into joinin their "rewards program" it was like every $100 you get a dollar or something. I was like, "it'd take me so long, im good" but i bought a tv a couple months before so he said i could get credit for that aswell. So finally i said, "well, your not gonna send me a bunch of emails if i sign up are you". He said, " haha noooooo"!
Long story kinda shortened.
I paid full price for the SS system.
I got a wopping $5 off a used hdmi cable. Which was $20
Paid full price for optical audio cable $25
Then at the end i said oh can we add my tv to the rewards program. (Of course the salesman left so i was left with some kid to check me out)
He said, "oh man we'd have to call customer service and i dont think theyd do it anyway"

The following weeks im flooded with best buy emails, i unsubscribe at least 10 times with no stop to it. Finally have to call a 800 number and scream at them to make it stop.

big thread on reddit about this: multiple best buy mobile employees confirmed it, and users who went there confirmed it. people got calls to pickup on monday too.
pisses me off bc i chose shipping instead of in store (for the first time ever with best buy) bc i was worried they'd run out of stock before my preorder was fulfilled, so i wouldn't be able to walk in friday and get it. did shipping, thinking they'll def have enough in a warehouse.
yeah, and now they release early lol. so mad.
Pre ordered from Best buy about 2 hours after they started taking pre orders and I haven't received notification yet.

You should. I heard about this from https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS7/comments/490phl/best_buy_preorders_go_out_monday/, and went to my local best buy to be sure. They had no idea what I was talking about, and reaffirmed the 11th as the release date. This was yesterday, today my GF got a call that our phones have arrived and that we can pick them up tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. They had a Samsung rep there and I even showed him the phone, still wouldn't sell it. I went to U.S. Cellular, AT&T and even the new T-Mobile store in my town but neither had cases yet. Verizon store had the stuff out on display already so i bought my case and screen protector there.
I wondered who the *#&@ cares if I buy a piece of plastic for a phone that isn't "out yet"? I am giving you money, why do you care?! It was dumb as f.

Just got off the phone with my local BestBuy, they said that it should be no problem. She mentioned it would be FCFS based on available stock, dunno if this means you can get one shipped later, or if you are sol.
Well...that's kind of strange. The Best Buy website now shows the expected release date for the phone on my order as: "Null"?
The other 2 items still show expected release of 3-11-2016.
Edit: They just now changed the expected release date to 3-7-2016.

Yeah. I ordered two actually, got two seperate emails. I tried looking them up, but it says the name and phone number are wrong, didnt say anything about order number being wrong.
Edit: nevermind, it was under my old name. My att acct is kinda wonky haha.
