I'm not sure thats going to happen soon or does its going to happen at all, cause s7 ships with marshmallow right out of box. But who know, all you have to do is wait

i9505 Kushan CM13 Samsung Apps install

Hi everyone! I have a problem about installing Samsung Apps on the Marshmallow.
I really would like to use my Samsung Gear 2, but I cant connect with it.
How can I install and pair with my device?
Samsung apps don't work on custom roms.

ROM suggestion for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0

Greetings,
I have recently purchased my wife a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" tablet (model SM-T230NU). We are pretty happy with the tablet however I would love to get rid of all the bloat that Samsung adds into the OS.
Years ago I installed a custom ROM on a ASUS tablet that not only upgraded the OS to a more recent Android release, but also was clean stock android install. I am interested in a recommendation for a stable
Android ROM for the Galaxy Tab where I am not loosing any functionality. The Galaxy Tab ships with Android version 4.4.2. I'd also be interested in going to Lollipop or Marshmallow if there is a stable version available.
Appreciate any recommendations!
Cheers,
Torbuck

Hi,
My Tab4 SM-T230NU is only booting up to the Tab4 screen and just hangs there.. I downloaded the Acheron rom and a few others as well to try to get this working again.. I have installed the latest Odin software and the USB drivers, but can't seem to figure out how to go about installing the Rom using this. I also tried the Kies software, and it tries to connect to it, but never does, so that's out.. I also can't get it to go to "recovery" mode using the pwr,vol up,Home buttons, but it does go into the "download" mode.. There's no way for me to turn on USB Debugging in the developer options, so can I still install this rom using Odin? Thanks for any assistance.

Samsung smartch switch won't open

Have a note 5 with rooted stock 6.0.1. Smart switch opens on this device.
Have a note 3 with Resurrection Remix and Open Gapps installed - working fine. Smart switch will install on this device, but when ibtrybto open it, it flashes, closes, and I very briefly and see a toast that says ”signing key is mismatched between apk and firmware". It might say more than that, but that's what I can make out as the toast is only half a second or less.
And help to fix this?
Same Issue
I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to switch from a S5 to a S7e. I'm running CM13 13.0-20160412-Nightly-klte and GApps.
I was able to screenshot the error message.
Any help please? TIA
I'm quite sure that this won't work, because it needs a Samsung framework (Samsung rom).

I thought about that, but it says Android, iPhone, Blackberry as the origin platform choices. I wold take that to mean that it can be any flavor of Android, whether pure, CM, HTC, Sony, or Huawai.
I can't think of a reason that it wouldn't work because of that.
Anyone found a fix to this yet? I'm running an S5 with a marshmallow resurrection remix and Gapps as well...
I'm having the same problem and the solution?
Android v.5 S4 I9500
Having same problem wth note 2

It depends on whether one of them has been modded to work with a Rom Control.
Do the two ports have the same base ?

Suggestions for S8 port

Hi all! Just bought Samsung S7 edge (SM-G935F) and I am quite happy with stock Nougat rom.
BUT, after I watched some videos about S8 port, I am considering to flash my device.
The only thing that worries me is bugs. As I understand most of this ports do have some bugs.
Can you please tell me what do you think, which port is the most stable one?
Or do you think that I should stick with stock Samsung rom?
Any advice is appreciated

I've tried the batman 1.1.1 s8 port rom on my s7 edge and I have the same model as you. The rom is great without any bugs. You can flash a sticker fix and secure folder fix zip file which will make more or less all the function that work on the s8 work on your s7 edge. For obvious reasons iris scanner won't work. Face detection and fingerprint works though.
Try it you won't regret it. Got my s7 edge 3 weeks ago and now I wouldn't even consider to go back to stock Nougat. I will only go stock when android O 8.0 arrives.
You can find the batman rom here. From what I have read in the forums the batman rom is king of s8 ported roms.

Thanks very much for your help. This is exactly what I needed. Sorry for a bit delayed answer, I was setting up Batman rom and my device..
So, yeah. It seems that this is one of the best roms for S7 Edge. It's working great for now, but it does have some minor bugs. Everything is pretty fast, very similar to stock Nougat, except the app drawer. When I'm opening a drawer it is a little bit laggy, but it's not a big deal.
And I did notice that battery life is affected, but that's normal for custom roms. Everything else works perfectly.
Once again, thanks very much for your help.
Cheers
