Hi guys (and girls),
I bought this unit (that is my problem, right?). I have several problems with it. I cannot install other navigation apps on it, only the factory installed one works (IGO). It doesn't allow me to move my installed apps to another sd card. I had the previous version, the es 2046b. Never had these problem with it. I contacted erisin support, the girls could not or didn't want to help. (Indeed she offered to replace the unit, but because this unit was a replacement to the es2046 and I should have pay for sending it back and receiving the new one, so I didn't accept the solution. I absolutely pissed off with their solutions and communications).

My questions:
- Do you have idea what is the solution? Probably software issue.
- Is there any android update to this unit (custom made) which works?

I bought a second hand head unit off ebay for my Audi but it did not come with any instructions.
Googling the model MCU (MTCB-MX-V2.16) and Model number (S07) has very limited results.
The software and abilities of this system seem to be quite limited so I am hoping to update it. I found the page on here where I downloaded the MTCB-MX-V2.82 firmware update but I do not know how to do it.
Has anyone got one of these models? Can they help me to root/update please?

Hi you should look for the Xtrons PF75ATTA it is exactly the same as mine in my MK2 TT, it comes with Lollipop as standard so what you could do is contact Xtrons Support and say you have a PF75ATTA and you need the Factory Firmware Restore and they will give you it. It works pretty well and the DashCommand is frickin excellent any more info let me know im TTOC member under the username CAGED

I installed the "Head Unit Reloaded" that works perfectly except for not operating the wheel keys.
I do not understand much about these devices, I know the basics about android and so I've been trying some things without success. I was not able to root and use MTCtools to activate the keys.
Can anyone give me tips?
For example:
What is my type of HeadUnit?
Is it possible to change the firmware to something more current and clean?
What about the keys, is there any way to use it on AndroidAuto?

Hi there, I’ve got an android head unit. Not sure of the model (9006? The installer mentioned?) but I’ve enclosed some photos of the info.
Two issues:
1. external Microphone installed but quality very poor, muffled - using iPhone 8+ with Apple Car Play. Any ideas why this might be?
2. any custom ROMS or firmware upgrade for this, I don’t want to lose Apple Car Play. Wondering if this might help with (1)? Any guide would also be fantastic.

I have this radio, it was a gift from a friend and I have no idea what is it or what can I do with it.
How do I figure out what model this is ?
Can I install android system on it ?
What is this current system that is installed ?
Can it be upgraded ?
Can I install new applications on this current operating system ?
Can I somehow factory reset this thing ?
Sorry for so many questions, I am just trying to figure out what is this thing capable, what are its specs and what does it offer to me.

You can't upgrade it, these are Chinese units that come with locked firmware.If it was Android system you could upgrade it this one you can not.
