I recently purchased an Android headunit from Aliexpress and am having trouble identifying its details. I'd like to look into rooting it/installing some tweaks/ROMs if there is much development on it.
I've searched for the MCU but haven't had much luck. Here are the details:

Anybody able to identify it?
Thanks!
Enjoy the meal. I have exactly the same Android as in the pictures.
Only I bought it from Germany under the name SKANDINAV.
My car radio crashes frequently, just switches off and goes back to the factory settings several times.
I'm looking for a custom ROM this way.

I bought a second hand head unit off ebay for my Audi but it did not come with any instructions.
Googling the model MCU (MTCB-MX-V2.16) and Model number (S07) has very limited results.
The software and abilities of this system seem to be quite limited so I am hoping to update it. I found the page on here where I downloaded the MTCB-MX-V2.82 firmware update but I do not know how to do it.
Has anyone got one of these models? Can they help me to root/update please?

Hi you should look for the Xtrons PF75ATTA it is exactly the same as mine in my MK2 TT, it comes with Lollipop as standard so what you could do is contact Xtrons Support and say you have a PF75ATTA and you need the Factory Firmware Restore and they will give you it. It works pretty well and the DashCommand is frickin excellent any more info let me know im TTOC member under the username CAGED
Hello, you spoke about Brazil and I am researching about the headunit that I bought last year for a Nissan Kicks.
*See images
I installed the "Head Unit Reloaded" that works perfectly except for not operating the wheel keys.
I do not understand much about these devices, I know the basics about android and so I've been trying some things without success. I was not able to root and use MTCtools to activate the keys.
Can anyone give me tips?
For example:
What is my type of HeadUnit?
Is it possible to change the firmware to something more current and clean?
What about the keys, is there any way to use it on AndroidAuto?
Thank you for now!
I'm using a translator, I'm sorry.

Thanks for your answer.
As I understand, my unit is a little bit particular. Not as common as others. This is the reason why I try to identify the way to root it. My goal is to root the unit to uninstall the stock radio because it prevent all launchers to start in foreground as explained here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/dev-new-navradio-ported-to-s32f0-devices.4234047/
And how to know if it is a MTCB or MTCD ?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the Android Head Units, and I'm running an Eonon GA2189S.
I'm looking to see what all my options are, as far as running a different firmware. But my main objective right now is to root this device.
Here is my screenshot of what im running. Can anyone provide me any additional information? I have searched, and searched, and searched. I have learned that Eonon sources their units from other Mfgs (obv) and that perhaps theres a bootloader that needs to be bypassed in order to root my device.
Any additional information would be GREATLY appreciated!

Problems faced:
-ultraslow in general as it shouldnt concerning pretended specs
-no dimming of the display
-2/3 of display size keyboard and no way to shrink this
-feeling like first attempt of running Android at all...
-...and so on...
The rk3368 should be a PX5 device with MTCD.
I think you should rather describe your problems here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/mtcd-android-head-units-q-a.5388/
or
https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/mtcd-android-head-units-general.7378/
OK. Thank you!
