When I turn off the screen my Carpad 3 always come standby, I want to just turn off the screen like a smartphone (i.e. music still play) but not able to do.

Hi,
i have the problem that my Touch HD dosn't play sounds when the display is switched off for example while using the software Pathaway (outdoor gps software), Cachebox (for Geocaching) or TomTom. But otherwise when using Pocket Music (mp3 player software) music is played when the display is switched off!?
Is this software dependent? Is there a possibility to configure the device for always playing sound when the display is switched off (I will use it for example for playing approaching sounds when approaching to a waypoint - to save battery power so the display should be switched off).
Maybe my question was already answered in this forum but, sorry, I didn't find anything concerning my problem.
I hope I will get some help or a link that helps me further.
Thanks
look at those programs settings for a "blank display" option
your problem is not that the display is switched off it
that you think thats all you pressing the suspend button does
but it does much more like put your device to sleep
resulting in all non phone or nofitication programs being disabled
Hey guys, my oneplus 2 is on version 2.0.2 and I'm having a weird Spotify bug. When it's in my pocket it'll skip and stop. I thought somehow it was turning on using the double tap to wake gesture so I disabled it but it and it didn't make a difference. I also use poweramp and I've never has this happen with that app. Maybe it's turning on the screen somehow? Any help would be appreciated.
There are gestures for Music control that include play, pause, next and back. Might check to see if those are enabled. Another way of making sure it's not gesture related would be to always put your phone in your pocket with the screen facing out. That ensures that your thigh isn't 'drawing symbols' on your touch screen. Downside is exposing your screen to things you bump in to...
I tried both of those already. I don't use the music gestures so I never turned them on. Weird because it doesn't happen with poweramp, only spotify.
I have noticed the screen not turning on occasionally when phone is unlocked. This only seems to happen in the car when connected to BT, and phone is set in the holder. I can still make a call via car's BT dialer, but even then the screen wont come on.
Anyone else noticed the same? Any possible resolution?
Basically sounds like SOD. Could be something in your setup, but have no info regarding it.
Hey, I have MX5 with the latest "stable" international version of FlyMe installed and I keep getting a weird glitch or bug with the lockscreen while playing music (I'm not sure if it's only happening while playing music but it's certainly most common)
The standard lockscreen with music playing on background looks like this:

And sometimes, when I pust the power button, or try to unlock/wake the screen or even without touching anything it "switches" to this weird lock screen, which is smaller, has different wallpaper, can be swiped to the right (and doesn't even show the right song playing) and overall it's just a ****up. Several tries to lock/unlock the phone get rid of it, but it appears again few minutes after.

This happens both with the stock music player and the Google music I tried afterwards. I also tried hard reset and it didn't help either.
Any suggestions?
I figured out this bug may be caused by a magnet in my leather pouch. If the phone gets close to the magnet it opens the weird glitchy windowed lockscreen. I made a video about it:

Hi guys. The screen on my X suddenly stopped working and is always black. The phone still works, but I cant see anything.
After many, many, many tries, I was able to get the screen mirrored to my TV, but the screen resolution is way off and/or it is really zoomed in. (see attached photo) I probably changed a setting while I was blindly trying to cast the screen to my TV.
I've casted the screen to the TV many times without any problem (before my phone screen died), so I dont think it's an issue with the TV or Chromecast, but I don't want to rule anything out. I don't want to disconnect and reconnect the phone from the TV/Chromecast because I may not be able to reconnect.
Any ideas as to how to fix this? Thanks.
