Coming from a Z2 with custom Rom, I am missing a data toggle so that I can title to 2g whilst at work (weak 3g)
is this available?
I will be rooting soon[emoji1]

Yeah cleanest way imo would be to use xposed and gravity box to add it to your swipe drawer that's what I do
Thought so. I'll put up with it until I root - which will be as soon as I make sure my phone is 100% working order.

Hi!
For those who use tasker, do you have the same issue?
I want to set internet speed to 2G when the screen is off so I can still receive my notifications but don't waste my battery
It says the option is not available for the device... any workaround?
Thanks for your help !
Would be a great tool to save battery and data when not in use.
I think we need a custom kernel. Doesn't work for me. It worked fine on gn, but I had custom kernel so not sure if it worked on stock or not.

Does anyone know what lib is needed in the kernel to make this run? I would rush towards the first kernel that integrates it!

My gf has the att g2, but when i try and toggle nfc in the status bar or settings menu it doesnt seem to enable.
Anyone else having this problem? Or is her phone defective.

Just returned the phone to stock. Nfc was working for the first few minutes. Then it decided to stop working and wouldnt reenable.
Guess we will exchange for a new phone tomorrow.

forgive me if this has been solved somewhere else but i have spent nearly 2 hours trying to figure this out but to no avail.
the details of my device are below.
model: SM-900W8
Build: MJ4
Carrier: Rogers
android ver: 4.3
stock rooted
now this all started a month ago i realized the LTE symbol had disappeared. i live in an area with LTE coverage and places where i go that i normally get LTE now i only see a 4G symbol. the most recent changes i have made to the device was installing wanam and xposed installer.
by no means am i suggesting that any of these mods contributed to my loss of LTE, just simply stating the most recent changes i made to the phone before this has happened.
i checked my data/property file and i dont see the persist.radio.lteon file. im not sure if i ever had because i didnt check until i started researching this problem but it would make sense if i did.
anyhow now ive only been getting 4G 3G H+ thats it, no LTE.
in my settings LTE/GSM/WCDMA is selected
anyone have any idea what may have gone wrong?

Have you changed roms? Different carriers have different CSC files that contain the icons that you are talking about.
My guess, is the rom you are using says 4G as your LTE. To verify, do a speedtest in an LTE area. Additionally, you can go to SETTINGS>ABOUT>STATUS and look for LTE in the Mobile network type area.
If it says lte, then I wouldn't worry about it.
No I didn't change roms, I'm still on stock rogers MJ4. I used to get the LTE, just all of a sudden for the past month I haven't. It's strange, I haven't performed any mods other than wanam, and xposed.
In settings it shows LTE/GSM/WCDMA selected.
And one thing I know with rogers network is when you're on 4G it's 4G, and LTE is LTE, they are 2 different speeds. And the LTE is not showing. I downloaded some app I think its called vaireo, something like that and it shows I was on LTE14. Not sure what went wrong here

Yea I uninstalled it rebooted and still the same, strange thing is that in app/property persist.radio.lteon is gone. I believe it's an xml file from what I've been reading. Tbh I can't say for certain that I had that there before but it does make sense to have had it no?

I don't know but am pretty sure that Wanam has to do something with the network.
Yesrerday I installed Wanam at 10 PM with Xposed rebooted it. So I noticed after that the time has advanced 1 hour to 11 PM (wrong time),I checked date and time settings and everything was on defualt set on automatic network time and automatic time zone but the zone is changed, werid right?

Try this go to Xposed >> framework >> uninstall then reboot your phone, if didn't work do a factory reset

Would anyone actually be able to upload a copy of their persist.radio.lteon file?
Is like to try and move it into my data/property folder and see what will happen

yea ive tried that but still no luck
Figured it out. Had the same issue.
Go into system/csc/ and change the file name of feature.xml to "feature.xml.backup". Should solve the issue.

I want the option to disabe/enable my SIM-cards like in OOS. Reason is simple, SIM 2 is my work-number and I dont want work-related calls when I'm off.
I thought roms for a dual sim-phone like OP2 should have SIM-management as a basic function but hell no it seems, havent found one non OOS custom rom yet.
Anyone found such ROM yet?
I know I'm not the only one looking for this and it's getting frustating since I really long for all that custom candy in othor roms.
Regards,
/m
The H2 Os MM beta has it. I miss the feature also, but the other advantages of CM 13 outweigh it, so I just don't answer my work number after hours.
I don't understand every rom has the option to disable second SIM.
Settings/ SIM cards /
There's a toggle to switch off sim
You mean like a widget or quick tile?

Not an option for me unfortunately, and besides that having both sims active all the time drains battery noticable faster.
Dont like the h2 OS unfortunately, prefere cm or aosp-rom but thanks anyhow.

What cm or aosp-rom have that option? Only I've seen is tipsy rom, but it is not working. Only gives the message " Deactivation failed" when pressing the toggle. Developer is informed and confirmed it's not working.
In bliss-rom and other cm13-based there is no switch, just sim-info.
I hope I'm wrong and you can show me the opposite
A widget (dual sim control) I already have, but problem is it's not working on cm13 or aosp, just OOS.
I have the same problem. Found no solution until now. Garak and Mahdi sad that this must be fixed by cm.

Great news and I totally agree. How one can create a ROM for a dualsim phone and NOT include sim-management is beyond me. It is a basic function for the phone, not a wanted feature.
If there is a technical explanation to why it vas not been implemented I can understand , but if it's due to poor prioritizing, it's just wierd. Anyhow, all you developers do terrific job, not here to flame. I'm just so damn eager to use all those awesome Roms you make!
You're totally right, the slider to turn off the option is there but don't work.
Sorry I took for granted, never tried that option since I never turn off second SIM.
