Non OOS-ROM with working SIM-management, does it exist? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I want the option to disabe/enable my SIM-cards like in OOS. Reason is simple, SIM 2 is my work-number and I dont want work-related calls when I'm off.
I thought roms for a dual sim-phone like OP2 should have SIM-management as a basic function but hell no it seems, havent found one non OOS custom rom yet.
Anyone found such ROM yet?
I know I'm not the only one looking for this and it's getting frustating since I really long for all that custom candy in othor roms.
Regards,
/m

The H2 Os MM beta has it. I miss the feature also, but the other advantages of CM 13 outweigh it, so I just don't answer my work number after hours.

I don't understand every rom has the option to disable second SIM.
Settings/ SIM cards /
There's a toggle to switch off sim
You mean like a widget or quick tile?

Not an option for me unfortunately, and besides that having both sims active all the time drains battery noticable faster.
Dont like the h2 OS unfortunately, prefere cm or aosp-rom but thanks anyhow.

What cm or aosp-rom have that option? Only I've seen is tipsy rom, but it is not working. Only gives the message " Deactivation failed" when pressing the toggle. Developer is informed and confirmed it's not working.
In bliss-rom and other cm13-based there is no switch, just sim-info.
I hope I'm wrong and you can show me the opposite
A widget (dual sim control) I already have, but problem is it's not working on cm13 or aosp, just OOS.

I have the same problem. Found no solution until now. Garak and Mahdi sad that this must be fixed by cm.

Great news and I totally agree. How one can create a ROM for a dualsim phone and NOT include sim-management is beyond me. It is a basic function for the phone, not a wanted feature.
If there is a technical explanation to why it vas not been implemented I can understand , but if it's due to poor prioritizing, it's just wierd. Anyhow, all you developers do terrific job, not here to flame. I'm just so damn eager to use all those awesome Roms you make!

You're totally right, the slider to turn off the option is there but don't work.
Sorry I took for granted, never tried that option since I never turn off second SIM.

Hi there,
had this problem with other roms and devices. In the end I used a different rom.
So, sorry to say, found no solution.
Best regards

Where your cell signal is.. Your bars. So it works sometimes? Have you tried flashing another ROM to see if the problem goes away?

You can't do much if nothing other than wifi and network works.
I've tried it, just did a nandroid, flashed it like a normal ROM, and restored the backup half an hour later. Heres the full thread if you are interested;

Lol. I think a lot of people tried it out when it came out months ago. Yes WiFi does work but the other features can't be used.

Problem in speaker sound when using Aosp Roms

i hate touchwiz Roms, but i'm cursed with them since i cannot install Aosp roms because of this persistent sound issue
the sound is stuffy and i feel that the speakers are gonna explode or something, this problem tends to show up on every Aosp Rom i installed on my note 3 (N9005)
IS THERE ANY WAY I COULD FIX THIS ISSUE?????? I'M DYING TO HAVE AN AOSP ROM
Thanks
I Have The same problem with any aosp rom
And that's why I hate aosp. :sly:

You'll get a more concrete answer as to why and possible solution if you contact or ask the developers of an Aosp ROM directly.

Unlock the phone after rebbot: why password AND fingerprint?

Hi
I would like to only use my fingerprint same with previous model. But with the S7, each time I switch off/on the phone, I am first prompted to enter a password, then the fingerprint will work till the next switch off/reboot. Is there a way to take rid of that password? I would like it to be prompted only in case fingerprint does not work.
Thanks
Phil
Marshmallow feature I believe. Nexus 6P does the same.

I think this is for extra security when the device has been switched off. I don't see a problem with entering your password once every restart, it takes a few seconds.

Thx guys! So, new android feature... Cheers

Yup. This actually good. As a tech you'd be surprised how many people forgot those passwords.

A ROM where everything works?

I have been doing some searching and it doesn't look like there is a ROM out there where everything works. Mostly I need fingerprint and wifi calling to work. Second screen working would be nice but it isn't as important as fingerprint and wife calling.
anyone have any suggestions? am i missing something?
thanks!
