My dad just got his turbo 2 and i have a galaxy s6. All connected to the same network and even proving it working by sending to an s5, i connect to turbo and try to send, fails every time. What setting needs to be adjusted? I've looked through the whole phone and can't figure it out. Connected fine to each other, fails every time i sent something, big or small. Any ideas?

Well I think I have tried just about everything, but I thought I'd check first to see if anyone else has ran into this and fixed it.
Yesterday my S5 just decided it didn't want to connect to the VZW network anymore. I was running Alliance ROM at the time, but I Odin'ed back to complete stock and it is still not connecting. Wifi, bluetooth, etc. all works fine though.
I took my SIM card out and put it in my wife's S4 and it connects fine so it's not my SIM. I tried reseating my SIM about 20 times and still no love.
Any thoughts?
I'm having a similar issue. Had my s5 for a week now and it keeps dropping data whenever it feels like. Then comes back on randomly I'm going to swap it out for another one. If the new one still bad I'm going back to my trusty s4 (need to replace digitizer)

Hello all, I've been a happy owner of a Note 3 32gb for Verizon for around 6 months now. The phone has been working great up until about 2-3 weeks ago and what its been doing in place has been quite strange. The phone REFUSES to receive phone calls, but its COMPLETELY random. Some days it will work just fine, others I will get reports from people that they called me 3-4 times, the phone rang all the way through, and I myself would never receive as much as a notification that I was even getting called. It's happening very consistently with my Girlfriend (We talk quite often, long distance relationship) and Its really beginning to get on both of our nerves. I've also had issues with text messaging, I'll receive messages from her DAYS after they have been sent (And I've already received them) and in some cases we've had texts come through that we didn't even send, at one point a text that I sent her, made it half way there, and the second half of the text was replaced with what appeared to be someone elses conversation. The phone works just fine for surfing the internet, tethering, etc, but when it comes to calls and texts it seems to be all messed up. I've tried resetting it, and I've checked my sim card, neither of which seem to be the issue. I'm currently located in Pensacola, FL, and am receiving decent service (2-3 bars most of the time on 4GLTE). Anyone have any idea what the issue could be or a way to resolve it? I was really looking forward to the Note 4, but if this is the kind of thing I can expect from Samsung I'll end up going else where with my money.

The problem can be from the mobile network or from your phone.
But it sounds most likely the problem is from the mobile network.
Put your SIM card into another phone for a few days to see if any problem.
Hello All,
Just got my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge today
upon attempting to activate the phone it start I choose a language and then when it begins the Setup Wizard it only gives me the option to make an emergency call or turn off the phone.
When I got my LG G4 Last year in the mail I activated it without issue, I do believe I needed to register the SIM card online but I looked around on Verizon's website and the only thing I could see was Activate a Device, which gave me an error each time.
Something to the effect of this option is not available at this time please try again later, except I tried this from roughly 6 PM until Midnight EST.
Can someone point me in the right direction for actually activating this phone?
Have you tried to take the SIM out and run through the start-up process?

Same thing happened to both my lines. I think it's happening to a lot of people.
I cleared the issue easily by calling the automated Verizon customer service number (from another phone) and telling it I was activating a new device. It will ask you something like "are you activating a device on this line or another line", then you just input the number of the line you're activating. It will then take a few moments on hold, and then prompt you to turn off your old device, blah blah blah, and voila! Problem solved.
The customer service number is 800-837-4966 (at least in Ohio where I live). This took all of about 2 minutes each line I activated. So it's pretty easy and quick. Best of luck.

I had the exact same problem and solution. My S6 was still powered on while I was activating the S7. It's the same number and you can't have two phones activated on the same line. Once I turned my S6 off all was good.
Hey I got it working.
Called (877) 807-4646 to activate a new device since the website was not working.
Looked like nothing happened initially.
Turned off my old LG G4 and Left my S7 Edge on overnight.
Woke up this morning with neither phone working, called Verizon. After rebooting my S7 it started to activate no problem, I do not think the rep actually did anything but I was running late so I just preemptively called.
Yeah forgot to tell you that you should have turned your S7E off before calling. Glad you got it working!

I bought my S7E at Verizon full price. I told her I didn't want to activate the new phone yet and just wanted to take it home and swap sims.
However when I got to my car, I noticed my current G4 was with no service. I guess they scan and activate it prior to even opening up the box. Pretty upset.
I have a stock t-mobile s7 edge device. It's losing the mobile network. I've noticed it a couple of months ago - it happened a few times but recently the problem is getting worse. It already happened 3 times this week.
Seems like completely random. Sometimes I notice it after I go somewhere with weak signal or no signal at all. Sometimes when I get back to an area with good signal it reconnects and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it shows the bars and says it's connected to t-mobile but 4g doesn't show up at all. So you can call but no internet. Sometimes no signal at all.
When it happens the only way to connect is to reboot the phone. Nothing else helps. If you try to connect to network manually - it can find t-mobile but unable to connect. just spins. Changing from lte to 3g or 2g also doesn't work.
I even tried to create a new APN - same thing.
Please heeeeelp...........
Last time this happened to me on another device, it was the sim card that had a problem. Have you tried with another SIM card?
No, but I don't believe it's a sim card related problem. Wife's phone has the same problem although less frequently. But she also travels less.
It looks like a configuration / firmware or maybe hardware issue to me.
I'm experiencing the same issue. It seems to happen when the phone loses signal completely like when deep inside a building. Then it won't reconnect to data or the network by itself.
From the first moment when I got my edge back in April I noticed that the radio performance was weaker than other phones. Then I got the Note 7 and same issue again. Then back to an s7 edge and the problem seems to be worse on this one specially after the latest software update.

My wife (s7) and me (s7 edge), as well as a co-worker (s7) are having this same issue.
Before it was happening occasionally, but after the last update its happening WAY more often.
Wiping cache seems to help with frequency, but still did not eliminate the problem. Hopefully it gets fixed with an update. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to put up with it.
Edit: I forgot to add a "simple" fix I've found that works almost all the time is to turn off mobile data, turn on airplane mode, turn off airplane mode, wait for signal, then turn on mobile data. Those steps in that exact order work for me most of the time.
So I've been having the same issues as everyone stated. The only fix is to reboot the phone, but who wants to that every time. I even changed the sim card!! I wish T-Mobile would get out of their feelings and start selling more flagship phones.
I have made the decision to jump to LG V20. I hope this issue doesn't exist with the LG.
I've just got my s7 edge and I'm sort of having same problem at home got 2 bars and sometimes goes to 4 bars but also wen I called someone the line was crackling but person said could her me fine so done a wiped cache and think it's sorted it now for the time being
(Edit ~ it's done it again could hardly hear person I was talking to)

I got my Galaxy S10+ 3 weeks ago. I've owned different LG phones and now moved to Samsung.
The frustration I've had with the phone is that every time I restart or shut off and start I lose all my Bluetooth entries.
I also see Google maps getting stuck in bring up a route. It keeps spinning to find a route.
What usually resolves the Maps issue is a restart.
Anyone seeing issues like these? I love the phone but things like these shouldn't be happening.
Thanks
No issues like that on my phone, I have 4 devices paired to my phone and they remain saved even after reboots. No issues with Google Maps either. I use it daily.

Reset all your settings ( general, network, and accessibility).
If that doesn't work do a factory reset.
If that doesn't work exchange your phone for a replacement.

Yeah everything works good on mines beside the camera led. Battery life has been ok honestly think I got more out of my s9 plus. Overall the hype is there but disappointed at the same time.

So I did a network, general and accessibility reset but no luck.
On Sunday I did a factory reset but I still have the two issues. One with maps and the other with Bluetooth.
The last thing I did last night was clear cache thru the boot loader. Per recommendation on Samsung forums, from a moderator.
Today I must have restarted the phone a half a dozen times. It never dropped the connected BT devices.
Maps is still an issue though.
I was in the car in the morning and tried to navigate to an address. It never loaded and eventually failed with the message saying "Can't connect to Maps. Try again in a few minutes."
While home if I turn WiFi off and try to navigate to an address maps just keep spinning and saying "Loading traffic data...". The moment I turn WiFi back on the navigation with traffic status comes up right away.
Could there be some setting that's messing things up when connected only to the carrier? I'm with AT&T.
I say setting because my wife has a S8+ and doesn't experience any of the issues I am with my S10+ !
Thanks guys! I love the phone but these are not acceptable issues on a $1000 smartphone.
Issue fixed
So I really had two issues.
One was with the Bluetooth forgetting devices when restarting or doing a power cycle.
The other was with Maps. It wouldn't bring up navigation directions when on the carrier network.
Sometimes a restart would make it work but would fail again.
Stopped by AT&T today and swapped the SIM card.
Both problems fixed!
