[Q] Anyone using Custom Quick Settings on a CM based ROM? - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've tried using Custom Quick Settings on AOSP stock rooted ROM and it works great.
But I can't get it to work properly on any CM based ROM's I've tried so far. I can add up to four new Quick Settings tiles that show up fine in the Quick Settings pull-down.
But I can only add four. The app lets me create as many custom tiles as I want, but only the first four show up in the pull-down.
Is this happening with anyone else?
I asked the dev about it but he just kind of shrugged his shoulder at it.

[Q] Galaxy S3 Toolbar Widget - Configurable?

Hey everyone!
Does anyone know if the toolbar widget (the wifi/gps/etc toggle buttons in the dropdown menu) that comes with SGS3 stock rom is configurable?
I'd like to change which buttons are there, and the order of them, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the settings.
I tried searching for it in the forums and on google without success. Also, I'm hoping I'm posting in the right forum. If I'm not, feel free to move it.
Thanks!
It can't be customized via the stock interface. We'll have to wait for custom roms :/
It would be also nice to change the apps shown in the notification area when earphones are plugged in.

A few stupid questions, if you don't mind.

Hello, two days ago I got myself Nexus 7 3G tablet, I am curious about two things, I searched everywhere in settings but I couldn't find anything, so:
1. Can I change lockscreen shortcuts? Now it is only unlock button, I had Holo Locker app on my phone which runs Android 2.3, but right now on my Tablet I use 4.2.1 Stock ROM and I can't find anything, I went to Security > Lockscreen but there's was no options for shortcuts.
2. How to sort my apps? Now it's alphabetical order, I would like to change that if it's possible.
Thank you.

1. Use a custom lockscreen app or change your ROM to one that supports lockscreen shortcuts eg. CM, AOKP, etc
2. Use a 3rd party launcher eg. Apex, Nova. Sorting can be configured in the launcher settings

Data Switching

Hiya
Is there a way of switching between 2g/3g without having to enter the menu and tick the box?
Currently using powertoggles and it just redirects you to the menu.
Cheers
There are widgets but if you flash a custom rom, you are able to do it from notification bar
p.s.: Did you try at Play Store before posting?
Would like to do it via the notification bar if possible, I have tried a few apps but both redirected rather then switched.
Cheers

I'd recommend the latest CyanogenMod nightly. It has this feature (toggling data modes in quick settings) and is in my opinion, a lot stabler and stock-like than most other custom ROMs.

Carbon ROM app drawer settings

Hi all, first time post, long time lurker.
First of all thank you carbon team for this amazing ROM, it has been a long time favorite of mine on both the Galaxy S4 and now that I have a note 3 that too. I only have one question as my memory is a bit hazy.
Customizing the app drawer, if that possible? Most other ROMs allow that, i.e. folders app icon sizing etc etc. I cannot find anything in the actual ROM which allows me to do this, nor has Google search yielded any favorable results.
Thanks for your help in advance and keep up the great work!!!
Settings > display and lights > font size... As for icons Nova or Apex launcher to resize.

Lock screen replacement for stock ROM on a rooted device

Hello,
After having tried multiple custom ROMs, I have noticed modifications I like and would like to see on my own stock ROM. It appears that with the release of KitKat a lot of work is needed to get certain features back and implement new ones for the famous custom ROMs.
The lockscreen widget that comes with stock seems to have low customisations possibilities and feels slow, especially when the round circle with the lock inside of it is moved fast from one end to the other. What I have noticed with the lock screen from cyanogenmod is that this is not the case and it comes with some nice customisation options. I would like to have this available on my stock ROM. Unfortuanly I have not found a thread here that explains how to achieve this, could some tell me how?
From my own research I have found it is it called clock, is this true?
Thank you

I don't really understand what you want to achieve on your lockscreen but I know that the APP WidgetLocker Lockscreen allows to customize your lockscreen as you want (though I haven't used it for a while)
