Simple question, does the "wireless fast charge" pad work with the note 4?
I was looking on eBay and found a lot of these listed as "Fast charge for note 5/edge - compatible with note 3/4" that charge at the 5A power --- but all the ones that are specifically for note 4 charge at 500ma, so I'm wondering whether the note 4 can really wirelessly charge at 5A or if it still only charges at 500ma (with the 5A being restricted to the newer note 5)
The only one I found that did garuntee 5a charging was a wireless pad that wrapped around and plugged into the micro USB port, which only made me more suspicious that the note 4 cant wirelessly charge at 5A...
On a side-note (no pun intended) anyone tried using a wireless charger while using the note4 GearVR? I'm thinking this might be a way around the ~2 hour battery life issue for GearVR...?
Wireless fast charging pad works with the note 4 but the phone will charge at regular speed; not fast charge.

I tried charging my Note 3 with a Nexus 4 charging adapter, which is rated at 5V 1.2A both input and output. But according to the Galaxy Charging Current app, the Note 3 is charging at 1.2A while the screen is on and 1.8A when the screen is off. So does this mean that the app reading is incorrect? Because this would be a correct reading if I were using my 2A Samsung adapter but it wouldn't make sense for the Nexus 4 adapter. Or is the Nexus 4 charger actually providing 1.8A even though it says 1.2A on the charger?
Hi folks,
I happened to have lost my original charger for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and all I have now is the USB cable. For emergency purposes, I need to charge my phone and it doesn't charge fast connecting to a PC. I do have an adapter for Samsung Galaxy S4.
Is it OK to use the USB cable on Samsung Galaxy S4 Adapter and charge my device? Or will there be a problem?
My phone battery is a 3.8 V Li-ion and 12.16 Wh
The Galaxy S4 adapter shows an output value of 5.0 V and 2.0 A

If that's hard ... can anyone holding a Galaxy Note 3 please post your output value mentioned on the original adapter?

It should be fine, most wall charges are fine. If you want faster charging you can make a charge only cable (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwKCXJc1iTc) and it will always charge at max speed. While this isn't good for your PC, it works perfectly for car chargers.
Any 5MV charger will work perfectly.
The official Note 3 charger is 5.3V - 2A, so using a 5V adapter will be fine, just a bit slower.
I use my old HD2 and S3 charger half the time.
using a 2A charger will be fine. 1A charger need double of the time

Hi,
I tested various chargers and usb cables, including the normal micro usb from the older devices, most of them works like a charm
Including my old OTG dongle (usb 2.0), I didn't yet compare the speed difference between both...

buy any chinese charger man it'll be a gud alternate for d original one
You can use pretty much anything.
I charge my Note 3 with the original one (5.3v/2A), I charge it with a Note 2 charger (5.0v/2A) and I charge it with an old Nokia charger (don't recall voltage but it is 0.8A). It will just charge slower, but otherwise works perfectly.
battery problem
recently I've bought a galaxy tab s 8.4 , but take too mach time (about 6 hours) to charging with it's stock charger (5.3 v , 2.0 A) , when i charged with note 4 charger (5 v , 2.0 A) , it charged normal (about 2.5 hours)
now i have two questions :
1. the note 4 charger is suitable for my device ? isn't bad for battery life ?
2.is it possible that the stock charger was fake !!!???
I want to buy samsung fast wireless charger but it will work on my note 4 with qi receiver?
All samsung fast wireless chargers are backward compatible with standard qi receivers, so yes!
but will the fast wireless charging work too?
Thank
I don't think the Note 4 supports quick wireless charging. I know it does support wireless charging with the right wireless charging kit installed and Samsung's own wireless charging back cover.
I found that not support fast charge in qi enebled dervices (maybe with right kits too) so any way to get fast wireless charge?
Fast wireless charging won't work with the note 4.
Your question has already been answered. If you want fast charging, plug it in.
Nope. Since the Note 4 wasn't design with fast wireless charging capabilities. You will have to plug it into the mains via the included adaptive fast charger in order to charge it fast.
hi, maybe is a stupid thing but i wonder why it happens.
i like to control how my charge cables are working using an app called galaxy charging current.
the point is that using a few 2A cables it only shows 1200mA charging.
i use the same cables in note2 and shows 1800mA as always
why? may it be a problem from the app?
is my phone not charging right? i have the option for fast charging enabled and using the 2A original charger from note 2.
i dont know may apps that tells you that charge detaill, almost that you can nearly trust...
thanks!
i forgot to say, i have the n910c model
If I had to guess, I'd say that both readings are correct. Your Note 2 reports the current as 1.8A because that's what it's getting from the charger, and due to hardware changes the Note 4 reports 1.2A because that's what's actually going into the battery (1800mA minus 600mA for the AMOLED display and other power-hungry components). Just a guess though, but this was the case with my Note 3.
Will the 45w fast charger for samsung note 10 plus be compatible with warp charge for my 7 Pro? Or, will a oneplus car charger with warp charge still fast charge the note 10 plus??
Or which charger should i get for the fastest charging possible for both phones in mind?
I don't think so, from what I understand they are two different standards so you need chargers and cables specific from each of them to use the super fast charging
they are completely two different technologies so you will need two charges, one for each phone if you want the fastest charging..

No, they will not work as they are intended to
For me it didn't work. You need their specific charger
