Counter in Security (PRODID_AID) - Xperia Z2 General

Hi guys.
Just found sth strange in my XZ2 D6503. When I get into service menu (*#*#7378423#*#*) -> sevice test -> Security to check if all DRM Keys are working after restore found sth strange.
I think this is a counter of how many times I have unlocked my bootloader, because I have unlocked it 4 times (and restored DRM keys of course later) and now I see a key PRODID_AID : 0004 [Key OK][Active]. Before 4th unlock this key was 0003, now it is 0004.
I think this is sth like Samsung Flash Counter which was before KNOX and was available in e.g. Galaxy Tab 2 but it's impossible to reset.
This is my observation.
I think this works like that:
Factory new phone: PRODID_AID : 0000
1st time unlocked: PRODID_AID : 0001
2nd time unlocked: PRODID_AID : 0002
etc.
If somebody wants to check this and you know how many times you unlocked your bootloader, please check this and report which number do you have here.
I want to know if am I right or am I wrong that this is a strange counter.
If I'm right I will start working on resetting this "counter"

I didn't unlock bootloader yet and I have there 0004

my bootloader is unlocked and i got 0004 too

Same here... 0004 bootloader has never been unlocked on my Z2

Same, my bootloader is unlockable (unlock allowed: no) and prodid_aid is 0004 too.

Never unlocked and 0004 too.

Help with CID

I reset my 8125 and supposedly relocked the CID so i could send it back to cingular
is there any way to check if it is CID locked so i can retain my warranty?
You can check it using the CID actions button in Wizard Service Tools. From what I've read on here though, the manufacturer doesn't usually check whether or not it's still CID locked anyway.
I checked it, but it shows its still unlocked. I tried using the Lokiwiz backup to restore it and it didn't work. Any ideas on how to get my CID back?

sorry not funny, 1st april has already been.
guys if you don't believe me go put in your imeis, it takes all of two seconds
I entered my IMEI and it gave me an unlock code :S
i could be wrong but i seriously doubt that they have enabled fastboot for our devices (x10)...
I can give a secondary confirmation that this works. I just received my key to unlock my x10. This does work. When you type in *#06# you'll get a 15 digit #, just leave off the last number and you will get your key.
Doesnt work for me, Says not a valid imei, please try again. but my x10 is sim locked to Orange and it says "you can’t unlock the boot loader if you have a SIM lock protected phone."
Edit: ^^Just left off the last digit of the IMEI and it gave me a code...

getting the unlock code is fine but does the device come up/shown for:
13. Enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version, and verify that you get a response back (for example "0.3"). This means your phone is connected properly.
Note! If Fastboot displays <waiting for device>, check the host for USB device status. If any unknown devices are present, then check the driver installation. If your phone boots as normal and Fastboot is not starting, even though the USB drivers are working, the boot loader on your phone CANNOT be unlocked.
14. Warning! If you perform this step, you will unlock the boot loader and which may void your warranty. If you want to unlock the boot loader of your phone, enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY, where KEY is the 14 character unlock boot loader key you got from the Unlock boot loader web page. You have now successfully unlocked the boot loader in your phone.
True, it did work.

Bootloaer Locked Forever?

Hi all,
Firstly I want to apologise if this has been asked before. I have hand-on-heart spent the equivalent of 48hrs solid searching for the answer over the last few weeks for this.
I have a rooted X10i running 2.3.3 (Stock). I have tried everything to unlock my bootloader, but it seems to be impossible to unlock.
Is this the case or am I missing a trick or something? Can anyone please help me?

Well to be honest i think there is not such thing called Permanent Locked Bootloader , well same situation happened to me yesterday when i was trying to flash my 1st ROM for Xperia X10i , but something happened and i forgot to copy the zip file to the SD ......... Anyway , just try to unlock it by Flashtool v0.9.80 , and also download s1tool to check if it's unlocked or not , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343 Here , i followed those instructions
Unfortunately this guide and several others are the ones I have been following.
I have just tried to unlock the bootloader using flashtool64 0.9.9.0 and have gotten the following error:
Code:
15/034/2012 14:34:51 - INFO - Loader : S1_Loader_Root_f851 - Version : R4A024 / Bootloader status : UNROOTABLE

15/034/2012 14:34:51 - INFO - You can now unplug and turn on device, then plug it again
SETOOL gives me the following
Code:

Ok , here what you should do , you have Kernal Downgrade and Upgrade right from the Rooting thing , aZuZu , well 1st Flash Downgrade , after it's done , unplug the device then turn it on then plug the usb , then wait until root press appears , plus use this flashtool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196421&page=1, when the rooting is done , flash the upgrade , then turn on the device , and go back to Flashtool 0.9.9.0 , wait until it recognize your phone , then if you can see the Ask Root Perms appears press it until and press allow in your phone in SuperUser , then wait until Flashtool tool says Root Access Allowed , if it says so install xRecovery 0.3G , then you go to Plugins> you will see bootloader unlock -- i guess , i'm using 0.9.8.0 -- , then press Run , do what Flashtool says , then test it with s1tool if it's r not R , then your bootloader is unlocked , Well Enjoy Flashing After That lol xD , Good Luck , Hope this work

Don't try to unlock your bootloader

Don't try to unlock
Your network will surely be gone
You have another way to unlock bootloader
First you have to sim unlock your phone using setool (search google for it)
Then check with s1tool, it will show setool sim certificate
. Then you can unlock bootloader safely
don't do it, i tried that after sim unlock with omnius and then i got NO network.
I had the backup of the trim area... that was my luck. For what i can see the bootlader unlock is now impossible for me, or i have to pay again to sim unlock with seetool.
@THeLogiC if he uses setool2 to sim unlock his phone there is no need to use the s1tool, as the setool2 unlocks the boot loader while it sim unlocks the phone, as thats how i got mine done when the_laser first did the bootloader unlock.

[Q] Nexus 7 Bootloader Unlock Failure

Hi
I currently have with me a Nexus 7 that has been bricked by something or someone. The problem I am having is that I cannot seem to unlock the boot-loader via Fastboot. I get no error message with the "FAILED" operation.
"FAILED (remote: () " to be exact. If someone would be kind enough to point me somewhere with this, id be very grateful.
- Lewis
EDIT: SS of command window. http://gyazo.com/5963ebec0c64b21cffd3f8f1dfad680a
Suggestions?
Is there anything else I can try before I order a new board for this? Would Be great to get it working without spending anything more.
