[Q] Nexus 7 Bootloader Unlock Failure - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I currently have with me a Nexus 7 that has been bricked by something or someone. The problem I am having is that I cannot seem to unlock the boot-loader via Fastboot. I get no error message with the "FAILED" operation.
"FAILED (remote: () " to be exact. If someone would be kind enough to point me somewhere with this, id be very grateful.

Is there anything else I can try before I order a new board for this? Would Be great to get it working without spending anything more.

[help] - PTP almost bricked [GSM]

Greetings,
Yesterday I've got a brilliant idea, change (again) my Palm Treo Pro Rom, NIICE!
It goes to the progress bar and still there for 5 min and give me ERROR 265. (over and over again)
Then I've searched alternative ways to change the ROM, like mtty! why not? all I need is command line program!
ok, after task 39, it formated all... and doesn't boot at all (only in bootloader)
I still can't update using ruu (it looks like it's timeout)
The command lnb doesn't work, the command wdata requires password (I give and it still with the 'command locked' error)
My battery has run out (I discovered a alternative way to recharge) and I'm almost loosing my mind...
Can someone give me a light...? Please?
it have hard-spl and it shows in bootloader.
Ithink I found the source of all the sh**....
checking the bootloader and comparing it with the information that Mord4z puts in his tutorials, I discovered that mine is different:
the first 3 lines are like:
PANT100
SPL-0.59.0000
CPLD-2
there's a chance for salvation?
All I need now is a way to flash to any ROM to be able to put hard SPL on this device... and then everything will be fine...
i have the same problem please someone help

Flashing ROM / Samsung Update tool Failure

I finally got my JIG and was able to put the phone in the DOWNLOAD mode.
1) After that I tried to update my faulty bootloader (4.10.1.9) using the guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1019112 but I got stuck with the message "CONFIRM PHONE MODEL" !!
2) Then I tried flashing the ROM "I8700 XEN I8700XENJK1" and subsequently "I8700XXKC1_XXKB2" (using all 4 files - csc,eb0,nb0,bin) but got the same error.
(I had installed the Samsung drivers - "I8700_Samsung_Mobile_USB_Driver_V5.2__V1.2.1050.0") before doing the above mentioned steps.
3) Next I tried to use the Samsung update tool "Device_Update_Support_Tool_for_OMNIA7_KC3_Ver1.2" and it detected the phone correctly but after clicking START, it stopped at 12% with the error "SLDR WRITE FLASH Failed".
So for me even after putting the phone in the DOWNLOAD mode using he JIG, it am unable to overwrite my faulty bootloader.
My Phone Info:
OS Version: 7.0.7390.0
Firmware revision number: 0222.10.10.6
Radio software version: 2424.10.10.6
Bootloader version: 4.10.1.9
Carrier: Orange (Switzerland)
By the way, my wife has the same phone from Orange and I have tried the same steps with her phone and it had the same errors reported.
So it looks like all the SAMSUNG OMNIA 7 phones from Orange Switzerland may have issues !!
Any help would be appreciated.

Had the exacly same issue (sldr write flash failed, stuck at 13%). Bootloader 4.10.1.9. I wanted to execute the Device_Update_Support_Tool_for_OMNIA7_KC3_Ver1.2 to update to latest WP7 version. I tried on another computer and it worked.

Bootloader - unable to unlock

So my problem is that after a failed rom installation TWRP couldn´t mount data and i had to format the full data partition. after that i installed a wrong stock rom and now i cant unlock the bootloader because i cant get the unlock code from huawei and i cant flash twrp on my phone.
Huawei P9 lite - VNS-L21 (slovakia)
Can you tell us what was your original build and what stock ROM you flashed so others don't face the same problem?
BTW, if you have original box, you can find Serial number and IMEI there, and you can generate Product ID with your IMEI here: imei24.com
Then get the unlock code from Huawei. And write the unlock code down for future reference.
to access bootloader (just learned this !!! thanks to hassan mirza XD !! )
01 - turn off your phone
02 - plug the usb cable on your phone side only DONT plug it on your computer (yet)
03 - press volume - (maintain it )
04 - plug the usb on your PC !!!
works every time and it's just awesome !
I got it fixed by using product id generator just had to use a different model name. But thx for the replies

Can't unlock bootloader of a refurbished "European H850"

Hi,
Trying to unlock the bootloader of a recently buyed refurbished device (from here - information of it below) via the LG’s official unlocking website leads me to an error:
"Device ID is unmatched. Please check your Device ID. If you see this message again, please contact your customer center. Your account will be locked if you enter the wrong Device ID more than 1 time."

How can I unlock the device? With device information I can know if it isn't "European"?
* my device information:
H-850 mobile phone
IMEI: 357657071472837
device-id: F098F3288D56A2417FA2E578EFC28ABED9E07B2007B71BEC10641A737F8A59FE

Maybe it was a blacklisted phone, and they changed the IMEI...
In that case I'm not sure if it's possible to unlock it without changing back to original IMEI.
ty for the quick answer - I'm trying to contact the LG costumer support now...
Contacted and received response from LG support: they provided the exact model (by the IMEI): is LGH850.AVDFTN (it's an UK Vadafone's mobile).
Then I asked the "Network Unlock Code" (NUC - I hope using this can unlock the bootloader...) via it's site and now I'm facing another issue: I can't use the code because the screen where I'm supposed to inform it has the message "This phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked" - someone have faced something like that?
successfully flashed Oreo via H85030a_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0910.kdz (was stucked in MM before...)
