this phone would beat the crap out of every phone with snapdragon qcore chipset and adreno 320 gpu,it will beat the crap out of every phone and manufacturers also said it would give gaming perfromance like xbox 360,looking forward to it hope it gets announced globally,fingers crossed:angel:

I think it has JB but on MIUI as what I read. Its very cheap. Hope someone does the job of exporting it from china to our country. It has an advanced display resolution.

Not sure. May be no. Most of the time we see some invention in China, but it never hits the global markets.

I don't think it'll ever be globally available because MiUI ROM is infringing a gazillion patents.

Of course it is a amazing cell phone with low price,but sorry to say...the company has limited the qualifications of buying,MIUI developers can buy at first,and then,maybe xiaomi only sell less than 1000 M2 per day,MIUI fans who have joined bbs of xiaomi have to scramble for them.when normal people can get it freely,it should be 2013.At this time,there is no doubt that we will have better choices,like SAMSUNG or HTC

Xiaomi "Two" is not out yet, I just bought a 1S which released last week. The Mi2 will be out in a couple months.

Well... it seems nice. To be honest I have only played around with it for a few minutes. It is running the default MiUI in Chinese, and I can't read it, I actually bought it for my wife. I may get a Mi2 later this year if I can figure out how to get it flashed into something English-y as my phone is getting to be old and junky (win 6!).

N4 bro. Moto x seems to have specs downgraded compared to n4 but I think you should wait for the official announcement.

For now, the only specs "downgraded" seems to be the CPU (quad-core > dual-core).
Anyway, first let's see the presentation on the 1th of august

Since you're comparing with yet unreleased phones, you might as well include the nexus 5 with it's rumoured specs in the comparison..

There are no rumored specs for the N5. There are wishful specs. The Moto X has real specs that have been released by people using the phone and is coming out in a few weeks.

What is downgraded? The CPU tests seem to show some pretty amazing numbers considering what CPU it is using. The Moto X will also have LTE, a better camera, and better battery life. If they sell it for $300-$400, it will be hard to recommend the N4 anymore.

I believe the rumor is it's going to be undercutting the Nexus 4 at under $265 even... and even though it's a dualcore it apparently outperforms the N4's quadcore...
So yeah OP, I think the MotoX is probably the better choice. But let's wait for an official announcement before making rash decisions ;P

I've read this is a pretty custom CPU that is utilizing cores in a different way. Having more cores doesn't make it faster. Apparently the Moto X has chips that offload some of the processing power (like for voice). So I would expect the experience to be more smooth than the N4.

until there is an official announcement it's all rumors, be it nexus 5, moto x or whatever. Asking moto X or nexus 4 is a stupid question, you don't know how the phone performs, you don't know the exact hardware (forget the leaks and rumors here), you don't know what features and capabillities it will pack. all you know is those few things seen in that Rogers ad, the always listening google now and camera gesture. So, until the official announcement on August 1st, comparing an older phone (nexus 4 in this case) with rumors, leaks and what not devices is plain silly. Cheers

Yeah, I would wait just a few weeks to see the official specs on the Moto X before buying any phone, TBH.
Personally, I'm incredibly happy with my Nexus 4 and could care less about any other phone right now... Unless something comes out that is priced so low with insane specs... Then I'd get it as a backup phone and switch between it and my Nexus 4 whenever the mood strikes me but I'm not giving up my Nexus 4 just yet. I love the little thing!

We already know the Moto X has a better camera and LTE. In my mind, that is all I need to jump ship from the N4 considering it appears to be a mostly stock experience.

I think that's a safe bet... but if the rumors that the Moto X will be on Verizon are true I'm sure that version won't have an unlockable bootloader... at least not officially.

Is it going to be GSM? All the Motorola devices are Verizon only.

i do believe they had some global phones such as the droid 2 global which had gsm support... or some gsm support at least.

No, the Motorola Atrix line is GSM and on AT&T

That's honestly kind of a worry for me since we shouldn't be paying that much for a last gen chipset AND ram module

According to wikipedia, it was available for sampling in Q3 of 2014. But I must be missing something if the year denotes if something is current gen or not. Considering the 808 is often chosen over the 810 for various reasons, what better CPU could there be for the Priv right now?

Yeah not much right now. But could have gone with Exynos or Intel if they were included in Dev phases...

I would guess it would take a lot for Samsung to let someone else use their CPU, and it would likely be more expensive. Intel devices can do cool stuff like running Windows natively on the Zenfone 2 for example, but Android x86 has its own set of issues.

As the title says, what do you prefer? I've to buy a new device but I don't know what to choose

have you seen zen phone UI ???
before buying I was also wondering the same as its cheaper, one look at the UI and I ditched the idea. otherwise it has good specs for a mid ranger.

Yes, but I don't like it so much so i think that If I'll buy the zenfone2 I'll turn into cyanogenmod

Battery life not as good as the x play.

I hate power buttons put on the top edge of large phones. A major nusance with the current Zenfones. Also, does the Zenfone offer Bluetooth aptX like all Motos do? Because no Intel powerded device currently supports that, AFAIK.

Moto X have better camera yes? Its a huge diffrence?

I traded my play with zenfone 2, zf2 is way ahead. I would say the play is a Tercel while zf2 is a Supra

As a moto x play user, I can proudly say it's a great device. Every animation is smooth as it should be.
Yes on lollipop the performance wasn't smooth but after the major 6.0 update, everything is great.
Now don't expect it to be a powerhouse.?

I am using Xplay for 2 months now and I am very happy with the performance, no other trusted OEM provides this much specs at this price range. Otherwise you could go for one plus one/two/X those are nice.

If there is any asus zenfone 2 user, please tell me about battery backup and performance of the phone. (I'm thinking about buying asus-zenfone 2.3ghz with 4gb ram). I'm worrying about battery backup.

well, every phone has its drawbacks. as someone said before me check the reviews of both the phones on gsmarena and flipkart[india] and decide for yourself. zenfone 2 headover there you'll find many users i hope.

zenfone 2 have performance (2.3ghz, 4gb) but lack of battery and moto x play with superb battery but performance is
low(only 2 gb ram[emoji43] ).
but price of both approximately same.

If you don't play heavy games or do lots of multitasking then x play is good enough, I can assure you that the performance is not low. btw, how many phones out there already running on marshmallow?

OnePlus 5 Listed For $449.

Guys what do you think of the leak specs and price ! To make sure currently it's out of stock on oppomart website.
I am sure this gonna be highlighted among Flagships cause of Its specifications. But look vice, Not that great improvement !

Well, OPPOmart, they got 50% chance wrong so who knows.
And someone else mentioned 1+5 will still use 5.5' 1080P, with a much better looking than the one on OPPOmart.
The battery of my 6P is dying, and it's so hard for me to decide eIther keeping waiting for 5 or getting 3T right now.

Just wait for a month. 5 will be better than 3T.

Probably won't be out until July. Samsung is getting most of 835 right now.
Worst case would be till October, not sure if I could wait for that long lol.

Maybe the price for the 3T goes down, after the official oneplus 5 announcement

I'll go to China during summer, they have one more color option of 3T, and I like that one a lot.
Also the price is little bit cheaper (around 10%).
And when 5 will probably sell out in seconds lol. Had never been the lucky guy.

In summer, its coming in summer PS: officially leaked today at the verge.

Not having a need to upgrade atm, the 3T is just fine for me :good:. Maybe when the 5T is announced.

Either May and June, or June and July. I still haven't flashed a single rom besides open beta on my 3T. I'm sure it'll still feel quite new to me once I start slowly trying out other roms before the 5 is released. Taking my sweet time because it's all worthy development. I might skip it, though. Only because the 3T is such a good phone. It's too soon to upgrade for me.
I'm still watching, though...
I like what OnePlus is doing. Hopefully, they keep up the good work.

With a better screen to body ratio whis phone would be awesome and I would buy it.

No words on this ! But i think OnePlus will definitely change their look, and feel cause OnePlus is known for it ?

Just like an insightful poster said earlier, dont get your hopes too high on this ETA. OnePlus aint exactly a product launching guru and those new Qualcomm chipsets will be a bit hard to come by in the earlier months. One shouldnt reasonably expect the new phone to be easily available before the very last weeks of summer.
If i were in a hurry, i'd go for the 3T without any delay. Its not like its getting old any time soon. I would just wait a good offer.

In order to improve over the 3t, what I'm thinking OnePlus has to do are the following:
_ not follow samsung with that bezeless objective: optimization is fine (like Lg did with g6). I know that S8 is the state of art design, I tried it some days ago, but also the risk of glass breaks rises with it
_ camera: the 5 needs a concrete improvement both in sensors (1.7-1.8 like s8) and software. If they put 2 back cameras like g6, hope to have a good use of the second and not the usual B&W
_ battery: hope to have a 4000, the 3t has great autonomy, hope they will improve it
_ display fhd is ok for me, smartphones don't need qhd (i know what I'm writing, I had note 4 since February)
_ hw for me is OK, s835+6gb ddr4+128gb rom (maybe 256?) is beast hw
_ front facing speakers: utopy
_ Ip68 is a plus, I don't really care
Well that's all.
Ah, I'm waiting the year where smartphone will all have sapphire screen: ok gorilla glass, but scratches or micro ones, they always appears.
