Hello,
I unlocked my bootloader and loaded the full 5.1 rom, if I want to go back to android tv how do I do this? Do I go into recovery and choose full wipe/factory reset? Or what do I do to get back to the stock android tv on the shield tv...thanks
download the latest firmware from the nvidia site, and follow the instructions.
You need to flash everything via fastboot mode.

Found these while digging around the nvidia update site. All "do" or "mo" are for the data and modem/wifi versions. flash at your own risk.

Any of the roms with wx_na_wf in the name are for the US WiFi version. I installed ota.nvidia.com/ota/rom/productionBL-droid-signed-wx_na_wf-incremental_ota-from-20258_426.6902-to-20258_434.7217.zip and it works just fine. I haven't noticed anything different though.
Aohh, ok thanks for the information.
Does this include all the original software that comes pre-installed on the shield tablet.
How do you flash these updates?
Edit: Nvm, Realised you gotta boot into recovery via USB debugging, using the Shield portable drivers. and then "Adb sideload --.zip file"
Side note, If anymore OTA links come up please sure! thanks!

Do you need a custom recovery image to flash the updates with flashify or will it work without one? Also if you do need a recovery image which o e works?

is ther an international wifi only variant?
Doesn't matter. Just noticed that the North america wifi is the same one launched worldwide.
So is the modem and wif the variant with voice call capability? Then this would be the phablet of the year!
I flashed it, and haven't noticed all that much, WIFI signal seems fine for me, it seems little smoother. but that could just be placebo, no crashing and no overheating. been using this for about 3 hours hooked up to my TV playing PSP emulator. And only lost about 15% battery, currently using the Optimize profile for the shield.

yeah recovery errored out with can't install an older build over a newer one.
I think the dates were 28 July versus 10th August..
Very odd numbering system - I wonder if @agrabren could throw any light onto the build numbering?

I didn't know about it till today (but I only got the shield tablet today).
Yeah would be nice to get an address to the site these are coming from to see if anything newer is out. Going to root of the update site just gives permission denied error.

I have done the Update on Lollipop, Settings/Display shows "display sharing". Tried some apps but no luck, does it work and how? I want to mirror my Samsung S3 via the Mojo on the big screen.

The way the device is setup is like a tablet so mirror on the mojo would be the same on your phone. You would need a device such as a Chromecast to mirror to. You could also use the mojo as a Chromecast but that's only on Android TV and I have yet to get that feature working on the mojo although it works fine on my Android TV device ADT-1 which I ported the build from.
How you update it on Lollypop.
Please tell me procedure of update. I want to updated my mojo to. Can i come back to old version after updating the mojo.

Just follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/mad-catz-mojo/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-mad-catz-m-o-j-o-t2976401 to update your Mojo. Afaik you can go back anytime, just flash over the official FW or do a backup on your way to Cyanogenmod.

Hello,
Can I ask how you managed to run the update from the settings menu?
I Don't see an option to run updates from there! I too am already on 4.5.3 and would rather like to rollback to an earlier version if it is indeed possible using this rollback file.

Just want to confirm it worked on my 4.5.3 too... switched wifi off first and all seems good !
Rollback from 4.53 to 3.2.8 also confirmed for me!
Many thanks ONYXis, that worked perfectly! I too can confirm that it worked and I have rolled back from 4.5.3 to 3.2.8.
Can hardly believe it was that easy. Now too look around some more to find out what I can do now I am finally rooted.
Thanks for your help.

Just had a thought, as we effectively rolled back our devices, does that mean we will NOT get ota updates from Amazon now? It would be pretty handy if they didn't work oat now. Save is from worrying about losing root access
has anyone tried this on 4.5.2?

I'm not trying to point finger at your work just saying if bootloader unlock can be achieved for Thor or Apollo over 13.3.4.8 ~ ish versions....

I just flashed the version posted in Post #6 above, using TWRP. And it installed fine.
Root (Magisk or SuperSU, your choice) before rebooting (after update) to avoid TWRP being overwritten with stock recovery.
