i have a note 3 SM-N9005 and it is region locked.... i know that there was a tool from chainfire but that didn´t work on my phone cause the rom software is up to date .... will it work if i will downgrade to that or is it not possible to downgrade to that Rom version , that the Regionlockremove.apk from chainfire will work ?? i have experience in rooting and flashing so this will not be the problem

My Note3 (SM-N900W8) has been upgraded to MJ4. The "Regional Lock Away" can not unlock it. As I know, there is no way to downgrade my phone to MJ1. Is there any way to unlock it?
Upgrade to Kitkat (it works on there, plus the XEO firmware is region free) , if you read @polish_pat's guide, the W8 is the only version that can upgrade and downgrade - and you can apparently root without affecting KNOX also. But make sure to read it all.

You can't downgrade to 4.3. Don't even try another flash with a 4.3 ROM, you may bork your phone if you haven't done already.

Downgrading the bootloader back to 4.3 will hard brick your phone so dont even try it.Perhaps you can try the GPS fix from playstore
Unless you got a N900 (Exynos) you CANNOT downgrade till some method comes for N9005...

hey guys , I have a lil problem, I used to use galaxy s4 now few days ago I got note4 N910C , its cool and all using 5.1.1 rom wirh root by space karnel......the problem tho is I really miss kitkat for some root apps privilege that don't run on 5.1.1 , I got the stock kitkat rom from samfirmware yet each time I try to flash it by odin ....it gives me the fail red signal , idk wats the story with all note4 bootloaders and all I see here it was simple in s4 , and I don't find any custom kitkat rom here tho except 2 with dead links.......any help wat am I missing? Should I flash a specific bootloader 1st or something? thx for any help in advance

i want to downgrade the bootloader and install 7.0, or, if this is not possible i just want to reinstall the current bootloader, i think it has some problems. i tried to downgrade it once (not knowing if it possible or not) and i got a fail message in odin. i'm that type who doesn't like errors at all and i just want to reinstall the bootloader corectly. thx
p.s1: sorry for the category of this post, but i'm new on forum, just made the account so it wont let me post anywhere else...

I have searched the whole web. but, I haven't find the solution to downgrade the bootloader for Binary 6. Well, my phone's OS is dead after upgrading to pie. So, apparently the only way for me and to others who are facing the similar issue is to wait until someone releases Binary 6 combination firmware for SM-G950FD.
Good news: It's easy to get your phone running if your bootloader is not upgraded to binary 6. Cuz, Binary 5 firmwares and combination files are available out there and they are 100% working unless your MB is dead.
Note: I have flashed following stock firmwares successfully through ODIN [INS-G950FXXU6DSK9-20191231094010 and INS-G950FXXS6DTA1-20200120123810] yet no luck. Can't boot the OS. Tried to root the phone, cant able to flash the custom recovery. Nothing just works.
Someone, please tag me if ever finds U6 combination file. That's the only hope to bring back my phone to life.
