3D Video SBS / OU works incorrectly - Shield Android TV Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone say what?
It supports seemingly no 3D SBS and Over / Under video. These are represented but are not properly aligned. The 3D representation is totally superimposed. Settings not there to also. The problem is app independently and does not occur with other system like FireTV or Windows.
According to the Nvidia support should not be supports. I can not but imagine?!

Es werden scheinbar keine 3D SBS und Over/Under Videos unterstützt. Diese werden dargestellt, sind aber nicht richtig ausgerichtet. Dadurch ist die 3D Darstellung total überlagert. Einstellungen gibt es dazu auch nicht. Das Problem ist App unabhängig und tritt bei anderem System wie FireTV oder Windows nicht auf.
Laut dem Nvidia-Support soll das nicht unterstützt werden, ich kann mir das aber nicht vorstellen?!

what app are you using to playback the video ?
I have no issues whatsoever playing back SBS or OU SD video through the KODI application on my shield tv.
The video plays as a normal video and once the corresponding 3d mode is set on the TV it works perfectly

Das Problem hatte ich auch, versuch mal Overscan einstellen

I know this is a pretty old thread but how did you get 3D working on the NVIDIA SHIELD? NVIDIA has said it wouldn't be supporting 3D.
I have a 3D Sony TV but when I play a 3D movies on KODI (on the Shield TV) it displays side by side and the TV never senses a 3D signal. I tried forcing it into 3D with the remote but that didn't work for me either.
The only way I've been able to play any 3D movies is with the Sony TV built in player.
It'd be pretty awesome to get it working on my Shield though.

hi i have a htc wildfire i am on 2.2 and i cant play the videos on youtube please help

What Message do you get?
an Error like "Missing PlugIn" or "this video isnt aviable in your country"?
Do you use the YouTube App or open it in the browser?
Slow connection an that why it takes so long?

Sometimes it is the same Problem 4 me, just cant play videos in HQ mode in both app and browser... it loads and then there is a message: video kann nicht wiedergegeben werden.

You will get the error "video kann nicht wiedergegeben werden" because its a HD vid i think, try a lower resolution.

do anybody know a modified gtalk version, which supports the back camera of htc desire?

Hello there,
i am currently using my Ouya a lot for watching videos on the internet. But what really bugs me a lot is that the browser closes itself from time to time, without any error message. Most of the times i get back to where i left off when i start it again, but sometimes it just shows the ouya dev website and i have to look for the video all over again.
Are there any better browsers working with the ouya? Are there any other apps you suggest for watching series?

Imho built-in browser sucks. Go and sideload a better one (e.g. maxthon, chrome, opera, etc. ) and for watching videos go ahead and install xbmc with needed plugins.
