Please help! otium gear s - Other SmartWatches

Hi guys! I purchased one of those Chinese smart watches from eBay. I was under the impression it was the otium gear s but the box says aplus watch. Not sure if it makes a difference. When I charged it up it loads and takes me to a screen that says - input phone password, then a space to enter the password which I tried the default 1122 that the manual says but bat doesn't work and u have 3 times to try some type of password since I got it wrong the watch will just shut off and reset. On the lower right it has an sos and I tried that to see what it does and it says it's in airplane mood after selecting yes to dial for sos. Anyone else have this problem and I is there anyway or restarting it? I tried to contact the seller but no answer, trying to do research but can't find anything. I guess u get what u pay for ?

I had the same, if you need to add password you have to add at least one minute in the password options, then your baby will be fine

Screen broken, need help wiping.

Hey guys/gals,
Dropped my phone yesterday and now the screen is completely gone. I was able to back everything up. I had planned on wiping it this morning, but apparently it had some mad LCD bleed and I can't see anything any more.
I had Vysor running yesterday (control your phone from Chrome browser), but now it seems to not be working (I didn't change any settings). I had USB debugging enabled...at least I thought.
I suppose I could just put it into Download Mode/Recovery, I come from 4 years of Samsung devices, so I was using Odin before.
Any chance someone could throw up some screen shots for any screens I'd have to interact with...driving blind.
Thanks
P.S. I did do an "erase" from Android Device Manager. It does say that I would see the Android Welcome Screen next time I turn the device on...haha, except I won't either way
I suppose I'll know if it is erased if the fingerprint reader stops giving me haptic feedback and turning on the device (can see a slight image on the bottom right).
Just boot into download mode, then use ADB to flash the factory image. It will tell you if it works or not.
Thanks Geoff, got that done.

what are u doing to get ur screen fixed?
My work will fix the screen for $170
Have the replacement plan, $80 for a brand new phone. Typing from it
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Hey sorry for the necro but cant seem to get any help on this. If you cant see ANYTHING on the screen, how do you know what mode you are in after you boot to recovery? It seems the default options are always different so how do you ensure you are at the right option to use ADB or anything else? I need to make 100% sure the phone is wiped before I sell it.

just use android device manager and wipe it but you will probably need to tell buyer your account and password after they fix it to get in it then change your password again https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiwzPL1-tjXAhVDPN8KHab3CCAQFggoMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fandroid%2Ffind&usg=AOvVaw18MrvVnXQpTGzGjml46v_F

I been trying ADM and it is not detecting my phone... I am pretty sure I am logged into my phone but again its hard to be 100% sure. Doesnt your phone have to be on and logged in for this to work? Or does your old sim card have to be in for it to work? I already put my sim card into the new phone, but dont wanna screw up my account or "new" phone by messing around with the sim. I've read somewhere else that it worked without it.

No the phone does not need to be on just still connected to your account and the next time it turns on it will wipe it self and ask for the Google account to unlock it it will be in factory
Reset protect mode
If it's not showing up under your account its not on that account unused phone stay there for like 6 months to a year before disappearing

Ok I think we are missing some info here....
I already got a new 6P and put my SIM card in that
In the Google options to wipe it shows the phone in 2 different names, I think one is my very old Samsung S4, but the 6P
When I clock on the old 6P, it tries to find it but results "Can't Reach Device"
When I click on ERASE it results in:
"ERASE Your device has been erased If your device is offline, erasing will begin when it next comes online. You'll need to sign in to your Google Account to use the device again."
Now that sounds great, but since I cannot see anything, how do I know whats going on as far as if it did it, will it be safe for me to sell this phone now, etc, etc.... I cannot login to a phone I cant see or check out whats going on on it.
I hope this makes sense... maybe I am sounding paranoid but I am sure you know how it is if you have any valuable or personal data in your phone and are selling it.
Thanks so much.

Cannot register device with Samsung

Hi. I am trying to register my gold Samsung S7 edge on Samsung.com but it keeps saying it doesn't recognise my serial number. I have typed it in from the back of the phone and checked it in Android settings and from aida64. Also when I put my model in sm-g935f it comes up with a massive list I am sure I saw which one I had when I first setup the phone but now cannot see what full model it is anywhere can someone please help.
Can't seem to delete this item has randomly done it now been trying for days

Unable to remove MiAccount, any help?

Hi,
first of all, to prevent any accusations, I found this phone in a bar I worked in four or five months ago, waited for the owner to try and find it via his Google/Mi account and nothing happened. Now I lost my phone and was wondering if I could use this one instead.
Its protected via Mi Account lock, so I have googled my options and found MiAccountUnlock Tool. That did not work, I did everything correctly, instructions are pretty easy on that one, but after rebooting for solid five minutes as it shouldve, MiAccount lock is still there.
Then I tried to go a bit more deep and I wanted to try MRT or Octoplus FRP, but these programs cost way too much money and free or cracked versions did not work. XiaomiFlashTool for some reason cant install drivers on my PC (though I have drivers installed anyway, so that shouldnt be a problem, but even when I dismiss error message, it doesnt find the device).
I am able to get the device into EDL mode.
I am willing to pay something around 20 $, if someone knows about something I couldnt find on Google. The phone is running Android 7.0.
Thanks in advance, please be respectful, this is only for my personal use, so if someone knows how to do it and would like to contact me via email its [email protected]/whatsapp: +420 721 255 720
Have a nice day guys

Samsung Tab A 10.1 MDM Lock

Hi. My son purchased this tablet (foolishly) from someone on Offerup. (Didn't even bother to ask the guy to unlock it or if it even worked.. Battery was completely drained..)
After his purchase they deleted their seller account and I have no way to contact them.
I come to the community of G.O.A.T.S. with an issue.
The issue is that the device has a password, and I'm unable to factory reset it because of a message that says: "MDM does not allow factory reset.. Device will now restart".
I've seen the videos where people get to the screen where they use the encryption password incorrectly a few times and the device completely wipes itself.. I'm however unable to get to this screen due to the password currently present on the device. The only thing I can think of would be attempting to flash away the files with Odin, but i'm unsure how.
We even tried a few common passwords, but none of those worked. It says device locked by IT administrator, but we've gotten that message to go away and now it just asks for a password, which we have no way of finding out. Based on my understanding, the device is in retail mode and that will have to be removed for it to function fully.
Anyone have any suggestions or workarounds? I've been browsing through the forums for awhile and haven't seen any indication of what to do.
Please help
My friend purchased the same tablet with the same MDM block on it. I haven't found a single reply or workaround on this as well. Thankfully he got it at an auction for $2 so not a big deal
