Flash TWRP for your model of galaxy grand prime. backup DATA partition and copy whatever you have in internal storage to pc through MTP. then flash stock firmware from odin.

Got an idea. Ask someone at this forum with same model phone as yours to send you the partition backup for /system,/recovery and /boot.
Maybe we can make a custom odin tar file.
Yeah, it's a straight talk phone, so no stock rom, no source code, no nothing.

what do you think about making a n odin flashable tar file of the /system folder and whatever else from someone that has my phone model?
well guys, there is teh "custom" rom for this model... but its more of a last resort thing.... it allows it to boot up but you cant get wifi lte, 3g, etc etc, but you can make calls on it and stuff
but im not gonna do it cause i dont feel like its worth it
I don't consider that rom to be custom. It'll turn your Grand Prime into a Core Prime with no wifi or data. A FrankenPrime if you will.
ya i know... but what about flashing through /system partition like that one guy suggested? would that work?

this one guy sugessts you to ask for full partition backup. flash the custom rom or what that is and revive your phone
ok idk howto flash the partition through or wahtever... but the"rom" thats out there is a frankenstein rom... its turns it into a core prime.. no wifi, date, ltw, etc.. just caqlls and texts i guess
can anyone pleasee help?! atleast wit hte partition back up of /system and whatever?

I Flashed t the Polish kitkat upgrade and all seemed well when it booted up to 4.4.2
I then tried to flash the latest TWRP and my phone got stuck in a boot loop saying
1 RECOVERY BOOTING
2 RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
3 Set Warranty Bit: recovery
I then re flashed the firmware in odin and the phone would work again, just now i cant install a custom recovery.
Seeing as my phone is only 1 month old i returned it to the carphone warehouse where i bought it. They sent it off to Samsung to be repaired and they have now said they wont repair the device as the phone has been modified
Can anybody help me out, how can i solve this problem?
Thanks in advance
Hmm, you'd be better doing a complete /system wipe, re flashing KK then grabbing the KK compatible CWM rather than TWRP. Remember you don't need to root to flash custom recovery.
Also to be 100% safe, grab a PIT file suitable for your device in case you need to repartition.

You;ll have to scout around for a PIT file (there's plenty here on XDA) or create one yourself from your device(Guide is here on XDA also somewhere), I haven't ever played with them myself, so cannot advise on which to use or how to create I'm afraid otherwise I'd help ya out man

After you add everything to Odin, click option tab and make sure Phone EFS Clear and Phone Bootloader Update are checked. Then flash the odin rom. Lmk if that works.

Go download smart Switch, boot your phone to download mode. In samsing smart switch click more emergency firmware initialization then click the other tab.... itll ask for your model numeber then a window below will ask for your serial. When it accepts it, it will attempt to restore it. It will show you the rom that came with your phone. Right that down. Let it do its thing. There is another thread on this forum you will need the binary for your phone.

Likewise if you can get into twrp, use the file manager to delete everything in the efs folder. And actually you dont need the original rom. Just download apdn or apdu. But you will nees the binary too.

So guys if you are getting a DRK error after flashing the Odin restore? GO ahead and try flashing Chainfire's root. This will get the phone to boot up, that is after you flash the Binary and then the Odin rom, the flash chainfire. Remember, you will have to flash Chainfire going forward forever, every time you use Odin to restore them room. Otherwise, youtherwise you will get a device root key error and refuse to boot up.

Did you flash the Binary of the Rom?
Follow the directions in this rom. See after you flash the Binary Odin, if your IMEI shows up. If it does flash the Odin Full restores, any , it doesn't matter. You will get a DRK error or you should, then Flash Chainfire

Thanks for your suggestion, I've tried flash Binary(exactely followed the steps), Kies urgent recovery, but nothing help, im going to try edit my broken EFS file.
Wait, you don't restore it with Kies, you have to use Smart Switch, then choose more... Emergency Firmware Initialization... Then enter your model number and then it will ask for your serial.
So when you flash the Binary, there is a secret menu, top left corner, click it and then you should see all these menu buttons, choose settings. It will look like stock Android. Go down to backup and reset, and fully wipe through that. Then flash the Binary, see if you get an imei in the IMei screen remember you have to type *#06# in the screen keypad. If you see your imei, good, power down, boot into download mode, and flash the Full Odin Rom.... If you get DRK error, flash Chain Fire CF-Root.

I did everything you said, first I recovered by using Smartswitch, then checked OEM Unlock and flashed binary. After boot in Binary I checked the secret menu and did a wipe in settings from that secret menu. Then I flashed the Binary again via Odin. I dialed *#06# after reboot but imei is still missing. LOL don't stop there, but take a break. That is what I did, god I flashed so many times.
When you are rested......
Next step Flash the regular Odin Restore rom, this is different from the binary. BTW, try taking your SIM card out of the phone when you do this. If your phone boots up after the Odin restore, see what your baseband is. If it doesn't root it, then install twrp. I went into TWRP and used the file manager to delete everything in the efs files. I think something gets backed up or stored there from the bad csc files we flashed. No matter how often we flash, they are still there. Delete everything in the efs folder. Then go back to download mode.... Flash Binary.... Then Flash Odin Restore Rom.... Then Chainfire Auto-CF root.
While doing all this, check these options in Odin Clear Phone EFS, and Phone Boot Loader, I have also wiped the NVRAm option and Also repartitioned.

Thank you very much bro, I will try more tonight. I always backup my EFS in the internal storage, but yestarday I flashed superman 1.5 accidently wiped the entire internal storage lol... I was like what the f....
I will let you know the result. Again, thank you so much for the help
And if you are able try to restore through Samsung Smart Switch. It won't work after the restore, but honestly all are an attempt to repair what was done with Superman Rom.
After the Odin Restore, try Chainfire. The rom may look to be chain rebooting. Force it restart yourself.
Please help
Im stuck. I wanted to flash with odin when my house blow a fuse..... im "so"lucky...
After that my phone boots showing the "samsung s5 powered..." for a fraction of a second and then download mode. It does the same thing regardless what i do with the buttons. eg not able to reach recovery.
So i tried to flash twrp with odin= stuck at the recovery.img
Tried with stock rom =stuck at aboot.
Tried different versions of files and odin.
It seems that regardless what file i try to flash odin stops at the firs file.
Only thing i managed to do is flash a pit file.

What were you flashing with Odin when your fuse blew? I need much greater detail. We're you stock flashing custom? Other way around? Flashing kernel? Bootloader? Going from lollipop to marshmallow or nougat? I can't really try to piece it together unless I'm able to visualize what's going on.

Also in my experience if odin flashes a rom to your device and your device freezes at boot you flashed the wrong stock ROM. Get it from sammobile. You can't just flash any rom for your device. It needs to match. Carrier and firmware. If you were say on 6.0 you can't just go flash 4.4 or 5.0. it might not boot because 6.0 updated the bootloader. Mm and nougat use the same bootloader. You can however upgrade to 6.0 from an earlier version. I've got a feeling you were never installing the rom your phone was looking for to begin with. You probably wouldn't have been able to boot even if the fuse didn't blow. I say this because if it stopped mid way during a flash it would simply corrupt the install and another flash would fix the issue. If I wipe the rom from my s5 or it fails to boot my primary rom it boots right into recovery.

You will absolutely need your usb port if you can't get into recovery.

I know:good:, ill give it to a shop to replace the port
We'll, try to get in the Download Mode using the POWER+HOME+DOWN VOL. and not by the stuck Download Mode, i know you can, then try to flash a rom, preferably exact same or newer Android version.
