MX4 - Automatically kill processes - Meizu MX

Hello.
I have Meizu MX4 with Flyme version: 4.2.8.2I.
I noticed the device doesn’t allow to more than 2 or 3 applications to run in the background.
It’s mean that if I open certain application, minimize it and open 2 others applications, the first app reopened instead of maximized from the background.
I would like to note that I allowed my relevant apps to run in standby in the security app.
In addition, in the developer settings, the option ‘Do not keep activities’ is unchecked, and the option ‘Background process limit’ is setted to ‘Standard limit’.
Anyone can help me? It’s very annoying phenomenon.
Thanks a lot.

Fix for Samsung Galaxy S4 Lollipop Bugs

Well first of all, i don't know if this works for other android phones but it fixed bugs on my S4 lollipop version.
Which i believe it will do because most of android have developer mode and have the "do not keep activities" on settings.
Bugs/problems are:
Keyboard auto hide while typing
Apps hangs then closes anytime
Phone automatically goes back to home then wallpaper changes on its default wallpaper.
••if you're having the same problem or have some if these problems, you can try this••
Steps :
1. Go to settings > more > developer option
(If you dont have "developer option". Go to Settings > more > About device. Look for "Build number" and tap it 12 times.
2. Swipe down and find "Do not keep activities".
3. Enable/Check it.
Done! Please leave a reply if it works on your phone. Thanks

"Do not keep activities" means that, every time you leave an app, it will close it. This means that the app won't stay in the cache.

I know.. And maybe the reason why apps crashes is because of apps that opened before are still active.

It's called multitasking. Multitasking means doing X different things at the same time. This also implies that the apps do not close once you switch to another. Otherwise it's just exiting and entering a different app.
The S4 should be able to run a several apps at the same time without running out of memory, without killing them or without them crashing.
Hearing the various bugs about the Samsung lollipop, I say it's better to switch to AOSP roms. At least you also get good performance from them. Unlike the Touchwiz roms..

Mate 8 shuts off off voice-apps overnight

Hello, fine sirs.
I am curious on whether or not you have experienced the issue of calling apps such as Whatsapp or Kakao Talk shutting down after a few hours of use?
I like to sleep with the app still on, but after say 3-5 hours it shuts off automatically.
The apps are white-listed and battery is set to Performance. Neither of these options seem to help.
I don't have any other battery-managment apps installed which may shut down my battery consuming apps.
Any ideas?
Edit: I realize now this question may belong to Troubleshooting subforum. =/ But until deleted, I'll keep an eye here! Cheers.
Have you tried ignoring battery optimization on both apps? Apps> advanced> ignore battery optimizations

Hi, that's some very specific information you've acquired! My version is NXT-L29C432B170, therefore one of the ones you've listed as should be working.
Still, if I don't access my phone after 3-4 hours as to "tell" it I still use the voice program, it closes. Sadly.

Then you have to try the newest L29C636B180 rom... You can install very easy with dload method(without root or unlocked bootloader) but you have to know that you will loose OTA update, online themes and 3g - 4g icons only with data closed (when you activate data the icons working perfectly)... But whenever new update for your version(C432) show up you can install it back with dload method and everything will work again (OTA THEMES...)
I have B180 almost a month and everything working great (my version is C636) and notifications... Unless you will have to wait at end of May for B321 to come as update to Europe version (C432) Now only Chinese AL10 has get it....
It's critical to know that every time you update you will have to restore the phone (format) to make sure that everything is set up for andand with new version
I have the L29C636B180 update.
I will note: Notifications for applications are coming more frequently now.
I also note [on the bad side]: Two of my essential apps that rely on automation & wake locks are not functioning properly.
a) Applications are in Battery Manager → Protected Apps
b) Applications are 'Allowed' in → Ignore Battery Optimizations
c) Battery Power Plan: Performance
My 2 applications which relies on timers and wake locks to enable/disable certain features have noted. Their applications are being killed & restarted despite being "whitelisted". They are:
a) Silence Premium
b) Situations
I have a Oneplus One on Marshmallow 6 and this does not happen. What is wrong with Huawei? What is wrong with EMUI. I should not have decided to buy a piece of hardware with software from PROC.

A9 Pro (SM-A9100) Push-Notification problems.

I have an A9 Pro (A9100) and i can't seem to get push-notifications to work.
Whenever i turn off the screen it kills all the messenger apps and no more notifications will be received until i go to Apps and actually open the app again.
I've tried everything i could think of, check restrictions on background data (no restrictions), power saving options (no power saving options are enabled), permissions (all granted), notification levels, notification priority. Nothing was set wrong or made any change.
I even did a factory reset and cleared cache several times to see if it would resolve the problem, but the problem persists.
I suspect there is some battery optimization going on but there doesn't seem to be any way to tweak or disable this?
When i check under settings->battery->battery usage->Whatsapp i can see "Adjust power use: Stop or uninstall application." I can't change this. When i tap it i just get the Application info from the Application manager. I even checked it's RAM usage to see if there were any management options, there are none, the only menu option i have is 'force stop'.
I've had other devices where under Battery there would be an option in the menu "App optimization", it's not there.
In another topic i read about Smart Manager, It's not on my device and the one from the play store is not useful in any way.
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I fixed this notification issue by entering in Smart Manager, then RAM Categorie. In RAM section, there is AUTO RUN APPS tab. You can disable optimization for the desired applications.
This method solved my notifications problem.
For your information, I am on the Tungtata v2 custom ROM (https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...-a9100zcu1aqb3-tungtata-v2-6-0-1-xxv-t3598861)
Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Looking to run the app in the background?

Hello Members,
I was looking to run one of the apps in the background as it's work related . However, on the flip-side Android is building the operating system in such a way that it kills the apps for more battery life and/or best performance.
In order to fix it I have changed the following setting on OnePlus 6T which has worked like a charm.
Settings --> System --> Recent App Management --> Normal Clear (by default it is Deep Clear) - Change it to Normal Clear.
Hope this helps someone.
Cheers!
Actually default is normal clear.

Thanks polzovotel. However, for me it was Deep Clear
By me it was also normal clear. And it is not working.
I wanna have termux running in the background always, but it gets killed.
I disabled battery optimization for the termux app, I turned off adaptive battery. It still gets killed automatically.
Within termux there is termux-wakelock setting but it is not working on the 6t.
Tried with a Samsung phone and it works perfectly.

someone recording camera on my phone

Hello guys,
Someone is using my phone to record what happening on cam
Could someone please help me on how to disable this ? Each time i connect to my wifi this icon near hours show up and start blinking, any one have an idea ?
Thanks guys
Depending on what version of Android you have, you could go through permissions to see which apps allow camera use while app is running. Use the Permissions manager to do this.
Turn them off any suspect apps. If that doesn't do it, turn them off in batches until you narrow it down.

A good starting point: Disable for all applications that you side-loaded ... meaning, any apps that you didn't install from the Google Play store.
I did a clean install, everthing was erased (with odin samsung phone), untill now all god, but each time i connect to my wifi the small icon start recording...
Any idea guys ?
