I'm on systemless root w/ supersu 2.6.1 and 6.0.1 Marshmallow. But I'm not receiving push notifications from Venmo whenever someone sends money. Does anyone know the source of the problem?
I have the same problem. ~_~

Description:
It kept something opened or modified Gmail and messaging receiving incomes internal settings. I guess it kept something open to receive incoming messages quicker.
Not sure if it was an xposed app or regular app.
Notes:
It's not greenify nor amplify.

Brand new V20 H918 unlocked and rooted. I've been noticing problems receiving text message. They sometimes take a half hour to receive. I also have noticed issues with apps getting root permissions. It takes a while. Rebooting doesn't help or speed things up. Could it be something wrong with SuperSU? It updated from the Play Store the latest version. Root Checker says I have root.
Edit: I rolled back SuperSU to the flashable 2.79 SR3 and apps get root right away. Text messages still have the problem. Sent is immediate. Received takes 30 mins.
I have a XT1625 running stock Nougat and have not been able to receive text messages without clearing cache/data in the messaging app.
-Using the stock Android Messages app.
-Best date I can pinpoint when this started is March 30.
-Phone was unrooted when the problem first started. Have tried a factory reset, and also unlocked the bootloader and rooted with Superuser at the same time. Also Elemental kernel.
-I got a new SIM card yesterday from Verizon, and it did not affect the issue.
-Software version is NPJS25.93-14.7-5.
The only thing that seems to work is uninstalling all updates from the Messages app and not allowing it to update. And I'm not confident that I have been testing this theory long enough to be sure it won't fail me.
Anyone else having this issue or know what i can do to fix it?
Hello,
Back in the KitKat days there was an Xposed module which could disable the increasing ringtone whenever I received a call. I've tried all modules on 6.0.1 and none work. Is there a way to achieve this or if anybody can edit the needed apk I'd send it.
Hi.
Sometimes after my phone's screen turns off and my phone goes into doze mode i stop receiving Whatsapp notifications. Only way for me to receive notifications again is to open whatsapp again and notifications rushes to my screen.
I'm using latest OOS with latest firmware and latest TWRP by codeworx. I have latest magisk installed and applied everything with clean flash couple of days ago. I used to have a similar problem with OOS 9.0.2 before. After applying Pixel Wifi module for magisk and removing it from battery optimization my problem was fixed. I can't remember what else I did to fix the issue. Can you guys tell me what am I missing?
